Whatever caused him to drop out of Cock, kissing Jonathan Bailey couldn’t have been that hard?

I’m sure it was drugs

I’ll never take him seriously after pole dancing for the HFPA for his Golden Globe.

His body looks good but his age is really starting to show in his face.

I thirstrap and thirstrap until I’m half dead and they say, He’s getting old!

Those photos of him from behind while he's fucking! 🥵

R12 "So this is what he’d look like after a bukkake "
He looks to be in his element. This is not his first rodeo.

He is beautiful.

He does have a great ass in those clips.

Is his hair glued on? Is it like a Lego man hair?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 9, 2022 4:15 AM |
He's got an unbelievable body. Whether he can more fully turn that into a star's career has yet to be seen.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 9, 2022 4:18 AM |
He's not anything close to ugly and I would still weep with gratitude if he ever so much as smiled at me but I agree with R9 - he's looking older in the face and I preferred him when he was younger and beefier. His bodyfat percentage is just a little too low to be ideal here and it's giving his face an almost elfin quality when before it was all blunt broadness.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 9, 2022 4:24 AM |
Taron says he's straight. (But's he's cute enough to be gay.)

So do Hugh Jackman and Bradley Cooper, and so did Kevin Spacey.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 9, 2022 4:30 AM |
He looks fug there, R22. His sexiest photo is that one of him in short shorts that he posted to Elton John's social media for his birthday.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | July 9, 2022 4:30 AM |
He kinda looks like Ben Affleck in r22 , yeah?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 9, 2022 4:58 AM |
He just doesn’t come off as American here, I don’t know what dialect he’s supposed to be giving, but it reads as flat more than anything regionally American. And those are beautiful muscles, but he doesn’t read as a football player either. The based on a true story is just throw away marketing, if you’re going to build a series around a movie star, why not just make it take place in their home region?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 9, 2022 6:08 AM |
Is the female lead Jami Gertz’s daughter, cause she’s giving those major vibes?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 9, 2022 6:55 AM |
I wish he'd used long, smooth strokes, rather than the rabbity ones in that GIF! But I will take what we can get.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | July 9, 2022 8:44 AM |
R29 I agree that he doesn’t quite nail the Americanness of the role. It’s off. The accent is ok, but his mannerisms in the role are more London chav. Definitely not a former HS football star vibe. In the second episode, watch how he eats in the prison cafeteria, He holds his utensils like most Brits…knife in right and downturned fork in left. All the other prisoners in the scenes eat like Americans. I’m surprised no one caught that while filming.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | July 9, 2022 2:52 PM |
R42 actually a good number of Americans eat like the Brits do. I was surprised to learn this, and also to learn that there's no one "right" way to use basic utensils (that is, one isn't necessarily better than the other) which I thought was interesting.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | July 9, 2022 3:07 PM |
He needs the softness.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 13, 2022 12:23 PM |
He’s stunning, but he playing this role like he’s the ingenue in a West Hollywood production of The Fortune in Men’s Eyes and how the hell does he have tailored prison uniforms?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 15, 2022 9:59 PM |
Hard to care because he likes the P.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 16, 2022 12:44 AM |
Kind of irrelevant since none of us are going to fuck him even if he didn't like the P, r37. We can appreciate the physical specimen even if we know he won't be having sex with other men.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | July 16, 2022 1:19 AM |
Taron isn't black, and neither is his bird.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | July 22, 2022 12:26 PM |
The acting in Black Bird is almost uniformly terrible from the leads to the bit players, although Taron is fun to look at with his humpy—yet anachronistic to 1996–physique.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | July 23, 2022 1:26 AM |
WTF is going on with Taron's hair? It never, or rarely, moves. When he was cleaning up the cafeteria with Larry it did get a little messed up, but in a later shot in the same scene it was back to Ken Doll Hair. Agreed with R36 about his tailored prison uniform with the shirt sleeves turned up just so. How is his character not being raped on a daily basis? (Perhaps he is, and we're just not seeing it.) I realize this is not a documentary, but c'mon.
This is pretty bad across the board and should have been maybe four episodes at most. I like Taron, but he's largely acting with his forehead (frowning or surprised) in this. I hope we don't lose him to Marvel. And did he ever say why he left the production of "Cock" in London? Probably not.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 23, 2022 8:33 PM |
There’s such weird padding to the episodes, not even in a “they don’t have enough material” kind of way, just drawing out scenes long and lingering on shots for to long. I mentioned on another board about the tailored outfits and the stand and modeling posing that Taron does and they pointed out that his shoes have laces, which wouldn’t be allowed. I almost feel like there’s a shift about to come that pulls back and shows all of this is artifice and it’s a movie of what happened instead as some weird twist. There really seems like there should be some reason for all of these, for lack of a better word, missteps?
by Anonymous | reply 43 | July 23, 2022 8:41 PM |
Any more sex scenes like the ones posted above?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | July 23, 2022 8:51 PM |
R44 As R42 mentioned, if he’s getting raped nightly by the guards or other prisoners it’s off camera and not mentioned. I was expecting some humiliation and potentially some of it being sexual from the guard, but I even missed why he came in beat up and that the stakes/tension for Taron to pay him off dropped. If there weren’t just a few more episodes I’d stop watching, but I’m interested in the technicalities of how they catch him now.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | July 23, 2022 8:55 PM |
I absolutely love this show. Larry is creepy as fuck.

[quote] His body looks good but his age is really starting to show in his face.
It's not age, it is his workout. To get in shape for that part he starved himself and overdid the weight-training.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 1, 2022 5:23 AM |
His highly tailored prison outfit is annoyingly distracting and unbelievable as it’s so different from the ones worn by all the other prisons which are oversized, boxy, and longer sleeved . In the last episode, I noticed he also wears a belt with it which I thought most prisons banned as they could be used for a weapon or self harm. Hate watching at this point. Larry is the much more interesting character.

R48 If you watch it with the mute button on, it could be “Taron Egerton in the Jack LaLanne Story.”

I’m guessing he’s uncut.
Madden and Elton would know.

Anyone picking his appearance apart is grasping at straws. He's handsome, and his body is insane.
He supposedly very much wants to replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. I always get the sense that he's ambitiosexual: that he'll fuck or be fucked by anyone to get ahead in Hollywood.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 4, 2022 4:03 PM |

I can tell you that I'm not picking at straws.
I know that the Billionaire Elton John corporation wanted a willing person to impersonate Elton John for his biopic.
They needed someone who could match Elton John's fat face but still be sympathetic to a mass-market audience.
They couldn't find an a attractive fat-faced young man so they chose this wide-faced young man named Egerton. They set him up in this movie to test him and he was judged to be both satisfactorily wide-faced and sympathetic to impersonate Elton John in his $40million biopic.

Haven't watched the vid yet but 1 of the 10 things he can't live without is a scented Diptyque candle? That's not helping the whispers, Taron.
As for you, R55, people have preferences. I am one of the ones who prefers TR at a higher body fat percentage. It doesn't mean I think he's ugly or unfit, or that I'm better looking than him (I'm not) or would turn him down etc. It just means I personally prefer him with more meat on his bones. It's not a personal insult.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 5, 2022 8:49 PM |
Nice ass...but now I wanna see his cock in all of its intact glory.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 5, 2022 11:17 PM |
Well, that ended abruptly (not complaining). The warden’s back from vacation, you can go now! This should have been a two-hour movie. Cut 90% of the FBI agent and Greg Kinnear, cut all of Ray Liotta’s storyline that served no purpose, as well as the glowering ex-Mafia boss who also served no purpose in the end. The only reason to watch, other than for the results of Taron’s gym membership and tailored prison uniform, was for Paul Walter Hauler’s very creepy incel Larry (and if the show had only been two hours he would have been twice as effective).
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 7, 2022 1:44 AM |
[quote] And if the show had only been two hours he would have been twice as effective).
That's always the way.
The best films are the well-edited films. Well-made porn films highlight the performers' assets and complete edit the footage showing their less attractive angles.

R61 I agree, this was a very strange production and I’m not quite sure what we’re supposed to make if it all. I feel there were conflicting ideas behind the scenes of what different factions wanted this to be, and no one strong contender won.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | August 7, 2022 4:13 AM |
It was based on real life (and a book). Perhaps Jimmy was not that great a storyteller, or real life has a lot of inane and irrelevant details?

We should tell that to the naive queens here—
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 7, 2022 5:29 AM |
I started reading the book it's based on and so far it's pretty much teh same as the show. I think they were just staying true to the story when really they could have dramatised it a little more.
Nevertheless, Paul Walter Hauler's acting was fantastic and I hope he gets an emmy nod for it.

No more episodes tomorrow, but I did just find this:

So I watched all of this yesterday and some thoughts:
SPOILER ALERT
SPOILER ALERT
SPOILER ALERT
SPOILER ALERT
- it fitted six hours well. there was some padding
- Taron's body was amazing, but agree his face looked older because he was so ripped.
- the scene where was he was listening to the confession was so well played.
- the one thing I didn't understand was how long he was in the prison. Weeks? Months? Why did sassy FBI woman only visit once? And why didn't he tell her about the conversations about the "dry pussy"
- initially thought he and the twin brother were doing the rapes and murders together or that the brother was framing Beardy Bro for them but what a fucking weird family. The graverobbing scenes were horrible.
- it makes me want to watch Mindhunter again. If any show deserves a 3rd series it's Mindhunter.
END OF SPOILER

Looks like he got something done to his hairline. It looks fuller.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | August 15, 2022 6:44 AM |
I read the book - he was in there for months and the last bit where he was dumped in solitary was for weeks not just a day.
There was also no guard blackmailing him, but everything else was accurate to the real life experience, including the confession and the scene in the woodshop. He was really paranoid about getting caught out as a snitch so the guard was probably a manifestation of that.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | August 15, 2022 8:20 AM |
[quote]he was in there for months and the last bit where he was dumped in solitary was for weeks not just a day.
Thank you - I really didn't get a feel for that. There was just the one meeting with FBI woman, where he didn't grab her arse like she said he should, and he didn't pass on any relevant info. That bugged me, but not enough to ruin the series for me.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | August 15, 2022 8:55 AM |
Taron looks great in this. As for Ray Liotta...*chef's kiss.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | August 15, 2022 9:11 AM |
It also took him a lot longer to get anything out of Larry. They would meet at the library and both just sit there not talking and Larry would eventually leave once he finished reading the paper. Also, he would eventually sit with the mobsters at meals because they didn't like him sitting with the kiddy fiddlers but Larry would look over at him all the time. The part with the tv happened much later on and that was when they started talking to each other.
The female FBI agent did not exist in reality.

They should have a new Emmy Category: Best show to stretch out 60-90 minute story to six to eight hours of streaming.
