I still wonder what caused him to unfollow Ncuti Gatwa (the next Dr. Who) on Instagram. They were in Horrible Histories together and took a photo together at an event right before Heartstopper came out; Bash liked all his Instagram posts through April and tweets about his Dr. who casting in early May, and then suddenly neither followed the other. I’m not sure if Ncuti followed him to begin with but I imagine he did; bash was the lead of the movie they met on. Joe and Ncuti still follow each other and like one another’s posts so whatever the drama is can’t be too bad but it is weird. (And yes I’m over analyzing this but given it’s the 10th thread I figure it’s switching it up from posting the same pictures of him and Joe).

Someone said that Bash has been unfollowing people recently, not just Ncuti. He probably moved those people over to his finsta.

It's more that people mention Kit since it sets people off for some strange reason, which is a little amusing. Like you can't mention Kit and Joe have good chemistry without a few screeching that he has a boyfriend and is awkward with Kit.

They met in a show where they were primarily antagonistic towards one another and where one is part of the main romantic couple of the show with someone else. I know the irony of me saying this on a thread I actively contribute to discussing their relationship (so no judgment towards anyone else speculating because I do the same), but I do feel for them. They’re both very young, and were very public before seeming to realize they wanted more privacy and it’s hard to put that genie back in the bottle easily. I think bash probably thought “I’ll post non coupley photos so people won’t speculate” but because they’ve historically been so obvious instead it’s a concerning sign to people who have guessed they’re together. Joe was wearing bash’s shirt and shoes today, they had their little touchy moments at the end, and were very affectionate with one another’s families and all over each other’s Twitter likes. My guess is the relationship is fine and this was a misfire in their desire to stay lower key. Hopefully they’re both happy and can navigate the level of privacy they want easily.

Celebrities often use them to post stuff for their family and close friends to see, basically treating it more like a regular person treats their IG and then using their main/public page as more of a promotional page. Someone a few threads back posted screenshots of Joe and Bash’s; not sure how they found them but it would make sense for them both to have them.
