I usually watch on Peacock the next morning, but caught the regular broadcast yesterday and thought everything looked off (including JJ's hair). I watched again this morning on (Peacock) and the show (and JJ) just presents so much better on streaming than on NBC. No clue why.

Speaking of Peacock, are they not the WORST of the streaming services? I can barely make it through a show without multiple buffering. And that's multiple with a capital "M"

I had a few buffering issues when I watched on my phone, but I'm watching through Roku on my television and have never had a problem.

Meanwhile... I never warmed to Cady McClain on AMC or ATWT (and FFS not on Y&R), but appreciated her first turn as Jen on DAYS. Yesterday, Ashford looked like he couldn't stand her, and only made eye contact with her when she seemed to start a staring contest with him.

I've never had any issues with Peacock. Sound like the issue may be with your service provider.

People have decided they don't like Missy Reeves, but she's Jennifer and should be playing these scenes. There are plenty of actors on soaps who have conservative and even Trumper political opinions. Some of them are smart enough to not put it on social media, but adults should be able to seperate the character from the actor.

I'm sure Cady McClain is a nice person, but she's not Jennifer.

I usually watch Days on Peacock on my computer. I don't think I've ever had streaming issues.

When I watch Y&R on CBS.com, however, I've had multiple issues. I used to watch the show on my iPad, but it got to the point where the site would crash every episode. So, I switched to watching on my computer and the number of crashes and buffering issues dropped dramatically. I do still have the occasional buffering problem though.

R238 I agree. At one time CBS was the worst streaming platform I'd ever encountered. I think it's improved, though. Perhaps it has something to do with Viacom taking them over and the move to become Paramount+.

R232 Peacock works fine for me on my cheap Roku TV. I don't subscribe so have to put up with ads, but no buffering issues or anything.

Have definitely had problems streaming shows on CBS.com At this point, that's routine and expected. CBS.com is the worst streaming platform I've ever encountered. Don't have Paramount +, so can't speak to any problems with that.

I have rarely ever had streaming problems on Hulu when I watch GH. Or any other show on Hulu for that matter.

Have never had any problems with Peacock. One of the best streaming platforms I've encountered. Even better, Peacock remembers where I left off, so I can easily pick up an episode later (something CBS.com would be wise to add to its site).

I'd never travel cross-country to go to a cousin funeral. Some nice flowers and a card sent jointly by me and my own siblings is all they get.

And my company only recognizes bereavement leave for spouse (or domestic partner), child, parent, sibling, grandparent, and grandchild, so whether I'd even be able to get the time off to travel and go to the funeral on my own unpaid time would be questionable.

R306 That's actually a terrific idea. I know it's overdone however I find twins more realistic then someone familiar coming in as an entirely new character unrelated to their previous one. Guess they felt it would've been too similar to Stefan/Jake however it could've been told differently. Twin Ben could've been an Asshole who eventually mellowed out and got to know Clyde, dated around, etc.
