Strip away all the labels and tell me what you're actually doing sexually. Fucking/sucking men, women, or both. That you're secure enough to find men attractive and may have even "thought" about having sex with men and thus have a shiny alt label doesn't interest me.

This whole trend is a play for appearing enlightened, tolerant or sophisticated.
For me, it accomplishes none of these things. "Look at me! I'm different and special"!

Judging by some of the men I've had sex with, bisexuality has also been quite a widespread Gen X and Millennium phenomenon, just kept much more under wraps.
A little sad to see all the hate for those young people who are just taking advantage of the more tolerant climate to be more nuanced in their expression of who they are, by older people who apparently know everything that goes on inside a younger person's head. Surely it can't be that there are some bitter, angry people out there who can't get over the fact that their formative years were the 1980s and they can't go back to being young and hot now? Or do I assume too much?
Rigid categorisation of sexuality was probably a bad idea, especially due to the rampant gatekeeping it seems to have produced.

It's very interesting to see survey after survey confirm that this generation is having less sex than its predecessors. Lots of interesting and complicated sociological reasons, including more young people being forced to live with mum and dad and the changes in social habits caused by the internet.
So cheer up DL, there are good reasons not to feel jealous of them!
