Even if he was attracted to Nick on sight, he should have been more reticent/subdued when they first greet each other.

I’m not sure how much they could have bonded filming, they had about 3 scenes together. Bash cannot have been on set that much. I mean, they are what, 18/20, so chances of it being ever lasting love is probably pretty slim. But they’ve made it a year or so, so presumably Bash has spent a while liking him. I had no issue with the kissing scenes. The assault scene was pure soap opera. The Kit/Colman scenes were nicely done and sensitively acted.
