People must be absolutely fucking desperate. This is Canoga Park, Ca a fucking shithole part of LA. That mall is located near Woodland Hill and that's why there are some more "expensive" stores located there. It's not because people from Canoga Park are shopping at Nordstroms.

Allegedly, organized crime is behind these lootings. Through their inner-city drug distribution contacts, they get the word out that they will pay big bucks for certain items. The looters are organized and target only high-end retailers who display these items by the exits. Example: Certain Chanel handbags will reap the looter $500, while Berkin bags will get the looter $1000, etc. It's assumed the mafia ships these items out of the country for resale at huge profits.
