Jimmie was always really good but I think he did all he could. A great contestant.

Olivia needed to go. Not interested in her "story", or at least the parts they wanted to show 🙄 Good dancer.

Iman & Daniela are stellar. She's such a dark horse & I love that they challenged her with a partner so big. He's leaving it all behind and just diving in. He gets better at the basics every week and has tried (and succeeded) at a lot of challenging moves.

Jojo....I will say this: her years on Dance Moms clearly gave her the knowledge & skills to learn routines and NAIL them. There's no room for sluffing, in her mind. She & her partner have been been really good at setting a tone (the friendship of Sandy & Frenchy, the horror of Pennywise & the kid etc).

Melora is consistently great. Love her.

Suni FINALLY got some shit together this week. During the dance-off she actually looked like an adult performer. She's always danced like a teenager and carried a sweetness around.

Cody & Cheryl have been the least impressive.

Okay, when Jojo & Jenna had their first dance, Len said something about there being too much "gimmick". Did he mean the part where Jojo lifted Jenna, turned her 180 degrees, then spun around in a rather "scissor sisterly" way?

Great takes, R46. Nice to know that someone knows what they're talking about. I love Daniella too. She's the kind of pro that won't last for long because she hasn't developed a fake persona. She IS however the most decorated ballroom dancer of ANY of them. And not 15 years ago either. Iman is a great partner for her and a difficult man to choreograph. He can cha cha too - but they're size difference is a big challenge. He and the endlessly annoying Kloots really met the Janet Jackson challenge best in my opinion.

Melora deserves to make the final and if she can keep up her strength - she could win. She's the kind of contestant who deserves to win. She's a good dancer and great performer. Not young and not a ringer.

Jojo and Jenna are fascinating. A great pairing. But when Jojo talked about singing Queen LIVE in her "concerts" last week I remember why I can't stand her. She's a manufactured talent and not very talented. She does have a real blossom of sex going on. Not the fake kind. We can see it between her and Jenna. And it's a turn on. Jojo is so dominant, but Jenna is their boss. It's a sexy dynamic and they portray characters well. Jojo can't sing. But the reality show dance winner CAN dance.

Amanda Kloots is pretty much flawless with the low slung ass Alan. What a beautiful body he has. They are both FAKE as FUCK.

I think JoJo will run away with the trophy. I can see Iman finishing top 4 because he's so sweet & his fans love him. Cody & Cheryl can suck it, sick of them.

This is actually a pretty common pattern on this show as the season winds down.

They need to start being more critical by week 5. Don’t spend 10 weeks telling someone they’re the best, giving them 10s for nothing to then suddenly wanna be harsh during semi-finals.

Iman beat three professional dancers, thereby fulfilling the original premise of the show - to take non-dancers and train them to dance. Having three pro dancers in the finale totally turns the show into something it shouldn't be. The year Bones won, none of the finalists was a pro: Bones - a deejay; Milo Manheim, a Disney channel kid who was still in high school; and Evanna Lynch who played Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films. At least they were not ringers.

Did they always do these theme nights where they try to fit ballroom dance styles to Britney Spears music? I thought it was funny when one of the judges said one of the dances to Hit Me Baby One More Time was too staccato when the chorus is staccato. You can do a flow-y dance to that song.
