My favourite troll, if you can really call them that, is the Concerned Team Mom. Technically not a troll, I know, but it always makes me laugh.

And I like Greg's posts, the cook. He's funny. I don't have the nerve to actually post threads. It's not that I get nervous, I just don't think I have anything that important to say that I want to fling against the wall and see if it sticks. I'd rather reply, and reply honestly, and when it's warranted, rip some oik a new asshole. It's never done as an involuntary act, but I consider doing it before I type ("Oh, do you? The whole reason I do the red-authentication is so that people here know who is typing my comments, as I like to own what I write. I find the whole “Anonymous” signature confusing to negotiate when it comes to the flow of conversation on DL. And I have nothing to hide.

But my identity is often used against me. Quite often it is because of my arguing with anti-trans people here (which I have tried hard to curb, because there doesn’t seem to be much point). Other times, people will use personal stories I’ve shared against me (which, I’ve also tried to do less of, as one’s honesty is thrown back in their face). Some people are just nasty (like the AWF troll). And most bizarrely, as you pointed out, people conflate me with other users here and call me “Boris.” My anti-Trump stance goes back to at least when he jumped on the birther bandwagon (whenever that was). And whilst my preferred candidate in 2020 was Elizabeth Warren, I whole-heartedly embraced Joe Biden since he won the nomination (and have grown quite fond of him as president).

All of the people who have come for me, I have tossed to my Ignore List. There is no point in reading the comments of those who despise me.

But, I might as well go “Anonymous” at this point. In the future, people would be less likely to single me out, as well as my comments. I suppose I could. I’m not sure yet.

You can click on my name. It should show I have left something like 2800 or so comments. I’ve only been a “regular” here for about two years. I don’t have time to make that many comments as one user in addition to having sock-puppet accounts. Anyway, as always, people are allowed to believe and write whatever they want in the DL. Also my current dog was purchased. I am very much opposed to puppy mills, but I am all for responsible breeders. I would like to see laws passed that minimize the number of dogs that wind up in shelters rather than mandating shelter adoption as the only way to acquire a dog.
