I CAN POST AGAIN. Making the most of it:

1. JH's entire face looks plastic. Those lips are terrible. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way she looked when she was in that Nicholas Sparks movie with Josh D. She fucked herself. 2. BB's merch is awful. It looks like the cheap t shirts you buy in the parking lot after the concert's over for $12. 3. The lyrics to both songs leave SO MUCH to be desired. I can't understand how he paints himself as this deeply intellectual man and then releases .... this. 4. Darklina sex scene would make the entire internet insufferable. JML's acting leaves a lot to be desired, and I feel like it would be so stiff and unappealing no matter how many takes they shoot. 5. Chloe annoys the FUCK out of me, and it seems like she uses a lot of the men she's been with and tries to compensate for it by presenting herself as cute and quirky. For example, she used Sam Witwer and then has the audacity to play victim and make false allegations against Hardwick. She's always rubbed me the wrong way. 6. I think a lot of RR's instagram followers are bots / spam accounts. Her engagement is very low compared to the actual follower numbers, but I don't think she has the cash to buy followers in the same way Nina and JH (and Ben) do. 7. Adele could hum into a microphone for 3:38 seconds and I'd still listen to it willingly 10 times before I sit through 11:11 once more.

They seem very juvenile and irritating, and like someone I would not get along with in person. But the acting is a whole separate deal; R68 got it right. I can probably count on one hand the number of scenes where their mouth was closed when they weren't speaking; it's like that fake as hell surprised/shocked/confused look Taylor Swift does all the damn time. And their scenes and dialogue always felt exactly like reading off of a script or a prompter; no emotion, completely unbelievable. R582 Let me just state that my confusion in R579 was because the poster said he/she remembered reading Ben saying BOTH he and a dear friend were in a dark place. I only remembered ever reading/seeing him saying it was (solely) written for a friend who was struggling (he said that over.. and over.. and over..). I didn't remember ever reading/seeing him mention his own dark place with Rise Up before the interview linked at R577.

Now, what you posted at R582 seems to confirm that he only ever said it was for a friend.. or am I misunderstanding a bunch of things?

R583 it’s a video interview he did in the black shirt and honestly there are so many I cannot find the one where he said he was in a dark place writing a poem for a friend. I don’t know why I would lie about that and you are free to comb through all the interviews for that.

He says the exact same thing about his dad and the poems and how he wrote it for a “dear” friend who was struggling. That is why we he admitted he was in a dark place as well that stuck out to me. I’m R582 and I think I misunderstood what R580 was asking for I read it wrong and thought they were saying they missed the original statement. I also think I know the statement R584 may be referring to and I didn’t interpret Ben saying he was not able to help his friend as he couldn’t because he was also in a dark place, I interpreted it as he had that helpless feeling of wanting to make a friend feel better but not being able to because it’s something they have to get through themselves so he was just trying to be inspiring/hopeful in his poem. But I admittedly haven’t had the time or motivation to listen to all the interviews so I could have missed something. I have very little doubt in my mind that it’s about JH considering their mirrored sun related messages on her bday and because the writing of the song fits the timeline when she was probably struggling with her divorce and if Ben has/had feelings for her then he especially wouldn’t be able to help her with that because he would be biased towards the divorce outcome rather than her trying to fix her marriage so it’s a misalignment of interests. Maybe that’s where the “both always and never our time” and just wanting happiness for her blah blah blah came from too.

R598 it’s hard to say but I personally think his beard looks thicker in the convention pics than it was in this interview pic so I think the interview could have still happened before he went to London especially since she said she loathes video editing vs transcribing in her follow up tweet in that thread, which could indicate that the video editing is causing delays. She posted a review of the EP on the 18th so she may or may not have had a preview and interview scheduled closer to the launch date. It seems silly he would go to London for only a few days especially when he’s going to have to be in Germany for another con in less than a month, but maybe he likes flying
