Succession Season 3

I am so ready for this. I just finished rewatching season 2 in preparation. It’s a great show.

Great piece on the show’s creator along with a few tidbits about Season 3:

I could never get into this show. Boy did I try. Both seasons. Couldn’t wait to see what they hype was about.

It seems like a low-budget rip off of something, but I can’t remember what.

Low budget? R5, you obviously haven’t watched any of the episodes. Try reading the link I posted above. HBO has spent a fortune on this series to make the environment look like the trappings of a billionaire and his family.

The S3 premiere will be screened at the London Film Festival next month.

Yeah r5's comment is nonsensical. If you don't like it that's fine, but this show is far from low budget. The production costs are quite high.

I thought the show was okay. I watched 2 seasons because nothing else was really on. But DAMN, the pay off in episode 10 of season 2 was WORTH IT

The last 5 minutes had me clapping and cheering out loud

Oh, man. I'm just about at my threshold for shows based around opulent, irredeemable, back-stabbing white family dynasties. I feel like I have to take a rape shower after each episode.

I CANNOT wait for S3.

Series 3 was filmed last summer in Tuscany. "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous PORN" shots will abound.

Fun fact: showrunner Jesse Armstrong was also the creator of "PEEP SHOW" (with DL Fave Olivia Colman). The two shows could not be more different.

R12, I think two episodes were shot in Italy, not the entirety of Season 3.

I know this because the equipment trucks and trailers were in my damn neighborhood on and off from last November until this past May.

Most of the cast will be on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

They have resisted the urge to turn Kendall into a hero. He is the same asshole he always was, just one who has been energized by the opportunity to burn everything down. After his humiliating decent over two seasons, this is smart writing. People don’t ever change as much as we think they can.

R16 That actor is so understated. Truly, the only main actor that doesn't devour the set in his scenes. God, I want to be sympathetic to Kendall but then you realize that he's truly a fucked-up piece of shit.

The entire cast is amazing. My only complaint is the geeky, nerded-out dialogue delivery, the angsty stuff. Some of the actors are better at that than others. Brian Cox could not play that any rougher.
