For someone who derailed his career, Hiddleston is making a great de as l of money, t er o years ago had a major theater hit in the West End AND Broadway with a revival of Pinter's Betrayal, (it was sold out on both sides of the Pond and he got nearly universally good reviews), he's got s major hit with Disney's LOKI, and on the serious side, is set to star in film of Richard II, as the eponymous doomed Plantagenet king.

The Swift debacle was bad, but he handled it properly: he didn't discuss it, let it flow by, went quiet, and then turned up aces as a serious theater actor again. In between, he did the highly successful Night Manager.

The fact that he didn't turn into George Clooney or Brad Pitt doesn't mean he lost a great career.

This is my first post to datalounge! I’m a little nervous and a lot excited. As my entire family knows (husband,kids,dogs) I have stupidly fallen in love with Tom Hiddleston. Secondly, his greetings,hugs & murmurs of endearment to fans as he worked this enormous line after performing the matinee of a very sobering and gut wrenching play were such bait to the “ i know tom really loves me” crowd.He looked upon each fan with more warmth then I’ve ever seen him look at Ashton, ever. In all the pictures I’ve seen, she is clutching his arm, or gazing at him with love eyes. He’s just there.(And yes I saw the recent beach pictures).
