Am I the only one, who thinks the Maxie and Bobbie scenes were shot on the same day as her SD tribute scenes? I wonder if, for the older characters, they are filming scenes on one day that can then be inserted in other episodes, so they don't have to have the older people on the set all the time. It also makes me think that they learned from the lockdown and are filming in a way that should be more lockdown resistant.

Proof that the problem isn't plot, this a a classic soap plot, especially for a HOSPITAL based soap. It is the execution.

R71 Unless Ms. Zeman is leaving on her own accord, I don't see them killing her off. GH is short of older veteran characters and she can't cost them much money. We know LW has pull on the show, and Bobbie helps to keep her character grounded. Unless, of course, TPTB told her it was between either Bobbie or Peter.

Though her character's death by Cyrus would make sense since it would hurt not only Carly but also Laura, and Bobbie was the one that took care of his mom while she was being held by Carly and Jason.

Peter is/was a poorly conceived character played by a terrible actor. Sacrificing the integrity of Anna and Maxie to prop him only made matters worse.

R76 I wouldn't say WR is a terrible actor. Peter worked for me when he was a flawed character striving to be better. However, the character became cartoonish when he turned full evil.

It does seem strange that Peter and Cyrus, the two main villains at the moment, both left at the same time. Who is going to be the big bad, now?

In his years on GH, Wes has been asked to play a wide range of styles, but he's proven that he's incapable of acting with any subtlety.

He was truly terrible trying to place a nice guy, he's at least tolerable as the cartoon villain who shows up from time to time

Nothing says how utterly terrified Ava is, like her asking Carly to take Avery. For her to do that, she is really scared. Lila Rae could move to PC for college and mix it up with Joss, that would be an Alcazar represented.

The purpose of these other mob families is to make Sonny and Jason heroes. The "other" mob families are really evil, have no family values, no loyalty, and just push dope on unsuspecting innocents. Whereas, Sunny and Jason are "good" mobsters who love their family and do good for others, are intensely loyal, and sell coffee. Little is ever mentioned about what are the illegal (or immoral!) mob activities in which they are engaged, except in the old days when Sunny exploited innocent people (e.g., Karen Baldwin). It's all part of the producers' strategy to play into the fraus' obsession with mobsters (e.g., "The Godfather") who, rather than being terrible criminals, are misunderstood men who women pine over and, of course, with whom women want to sleep. It's a sad turn for what used to be a solid, romantic soap.

The only mobster I ever really liked was Faith Roscoe.

I don't like Jason the mobster, and always have hoped he will get an injury again and return to his Quartermaine persona. But, he is the best biological dad of any of Elizabeth's children. Lucky is a deadbeat. Cameron's dad committed suicide by cop. At least Jason has maintained a relationship with his kid and provides for him. So in terms of fatherhood, I'll give Jason a plus compared to others.
