Didn't it come out in the Sony leaks that Ken was worried that NBC was offering Allison and James some kind of spin-off project? Which I always thought was weird because 1) Corday owns the characters, 2) NBC couldn't develop a Sami & EJ spin off without Corday and Sony's input, 3) NBC isn't in the market to create a new soap, and 4) just because Sami and EJ work doesn't mean that Allison and James would have worked on a show playing different characters.

James did get a shitty send off and I think it was tied into Corday's fears. But Ken should have backed up Brinks truck to keep James and Allison on the show. It's hard to find a male lead with that kind of screen presence. Look at Robert Scott Wilson. He has it too, but not like James Scott.

He's been off the air for years; unless you're a Bell, you run out of money.
