Why Princess Beatrice's baby will have a title (when Princess Eugenie's doesn't)
Confused? Stick with me - we're about to do a bit of a deep dive! Essentially, royal titles pass down through the male line, so because Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank, doesn't have one, neither does their son.
However, Beatrice's husband, Edo, is actually an Italian count (as well as being a multi-millionaire property tycoon), meaning that their child will either become a count or a nobile donna (Italian for 'noble woman'), depending on its sex.
After their wedding, Beatrice herself also inherited a new title and is now an Italian countess, as well as a British princess.
