How some here forget that Brad was cleared by the both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Child and Family Services back in 2016 about that one incident in the plane where Maddox got in his face. if she did have proof she would have given while he was investigated back in 2016 so her children will be safe from the other parent instead of withhelding it years later.

There was likely mutual conflict in the home at some point. Voices raised, unkind things said in frustration. I am guessing Maddox became Jolie's friend and confident as the Pitt Jolie relationship started to falter. Marriages falling apart often bring out some serious frustration and anger and Maddox probably took Jolie's side. That whole dynamic may also be what contributed to the conflict between Pitt and Maddox on the plane. Maddox and Jolie against Pitt and Pitt got annoyed and wanted Maddox to stand back but he felt he was defending his mother.
