I still read it daily BUT I hate the new website design he's been using for the last few years. You open a story and you'll start reading and it will scroll, all of a sudden, to the bottom. You try to scroll up and you can't help but tap an ad, which then opens a link. You go back, to get out of the linked page, and you still have to try to scroll back to where you were, only to have it happen again. I really don't think I've finished reading one article there in years. No site should be that hard to read; I often just Google the story and read it elsewhere. I cant believe he thinks that's a good web layout.

As I recall, the change in website design is what made me stop reading it.

His long time business partner is Michael Goff who started Out Magazine back in the day. I think they're both comfortable financially but not rich from their various projects.

I think Goff made a lotta dough when he worked at Microsoft. Stock options, perhaps.

I quit reading it because, just like Queerty, it became so screamingly woke it was obnoxious, plus the constant Trans posts. Start a site just for Trans and keep them out of gay sites!

I don't know his exact age off hand, but I'm assuming he's very early 50-ish. Does there really have to be some big scandal over him leaving? It's his own site, he may have just lost interest in updating it. It's not like he was getting let go from Gawker when all that went down.

I assume he and Goff are roughly the same age. I know exactly how old Goff is as we were in the same dorm in college. He's turning 56 this year.
