There were SO MANY threads on here praising The Lincoln Project last year just because they had good creative. Every time I would join those threads warning folks not to trust a bunch of media savvy Republicans I was shouted down by the eldergays all claiming that the Lincoln Projects ads were having a dramatic effect on Republican and swing voters. And, then, even after the election, with zero evidence, claiming that Biden's narrow win in some swing states was largely because of LP's efforts. It was utter rot. Sure, many of their ads and twitter posts were entertaining and even satisfying in the face of Trumpism, but they were always grifters. From the very start. And their end goal is the SURVIVAL of the Republican party, not its destruction. But y'all will never listen.

I thought it was pretty telling that the LP guy on Maher went out of his way to say he didn't care how many Repugs voted for Trump... that's because they wanted to increase Repug turnout to vote AGAINST Trump, but vote FOR downballot Repugs, which is what they did, and it hurt the Dems. Fortunately the GA Senate races went our way, but things almost didn't, in part thanks to the Lincoln Project.

Glenn Greenwald is one of the most discredited figures in journalism and political commentary. He's a Putin sympathiser who would rather have a far right administration than one of the centre left.

Wow. That reminds me of Michael Avenatti. The great big hope to bring Donald Trump down who was disgraced by numerous smear campaign attempts by Jacob Wohl and the accusation of a shakedown at Nike. With the final blow being Stormy Daniels dumping him as her lawyer.

Someone behind the scenes is still protecting Trump and that concerns me.

I'm no fan of the Lincoln Project founders, but Greenwald's spin on this is way over the top. It's well known that Greenwald is a Russian asset and a Trumps defender. The fact that he focuses on the Lincoln Project story but totaling ignores the potentially hundreds of millions Trump has raised and diverted to Trump related entities under his Stop The Steal campaign is ridiculous.

I won't read Greenwald. His ego is too big for this world . He's a vulgar version of Andrew Sullivan -- that is, he wants to be seen as contrary to expectations and what he sees as mainstream. I did read about the scandals, however, engulfing "The Lincoln Project" from a reliable source, The NY Times, and it is bad. It appears the other founders knew about John Weaver's sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior for some time, mishandled it, and mishandled funds.

It does not take away from the work of many associated with "The Lincoln Project" to expose the fraudulent and anti-democratic behavior and actions of that racist, sexist, irresponsible imbecile.

Agreed with everyone pointing out LP and Greenwald are all terrible. Greenwald doesn’t care about gritting, he is just pissed that LP went so hard after Trump.
