Heartwarming? Can we dispel with the false assumption one needs children to have a happy and fulfilling life?

by Anonymousreply 2January 31, 2021 9:03 PM

You don't NEED them, but if you want one... they can bring joy... at least that's what I'm told.

So good for him.

by Anonymousreply 3January 31, 2021 9:04 PM

I’m not going to congratulate anyone who goes to the trouble and expense to bring an additional human life into existence when there are already millions not being cared for. The practice is selfish and narcissistic and should be shamed.

by Anonymousreply 4January 31, 2021 9:36 PM

Radfems and lesbian are to take over this thread to call gay men misogynistic child harvesters in 3, 2, 1...

by Anonymousreply 5January 31, 2021 9:43 PM

[quote] I’m not going to congratulate anyone who goes to the trouble and expense to bring an additional human life into existence when there are already millions not being cared for. The practice is selfish and narcissistic and should be shamed.

I agree. It’s time to sterilize all ciswomen.

by Anonymousreply 6January 31, 2021 9:47 PM

Heartwarming is not the word I would use. Selfish is more accurate.

by Anonymousreply 7January 31, 2021 10:02 PM

There are all sort of ethical issues with surrogacy, which I won't get into. The biggie is that humanity doesn't need tyour spawn, it needs someone to take care of all the children who are already here!

And that applies to straights, too, if I could outlaw infertility treatment I would. Too much breeding going on.

by Anonymousreply 8January 31, 2021 10:20 PM

People that do this are the same type that get purebred dogs from puppy mill breeders when there are perfectly wonderful mutts in need of loving homes.

Plus that guy is FUGLY. He shouldn't want a child that could have any chance of looking like him.

by Anonymousreply 9January 31, 2021 10:22 PM

R9 Beautiful people don't necessarily birth beautiful people. Look around sometimes.

by Anonymousreply 10January 31, 2021 10:27 PM

That baby has huge feet.

by Anonymousreply 11January 31, 2021 10:39 PM

Agree with most of the posters. So many orphaned kids need parents and homes, and all this creep can think about it having a child who looks like him. This should hot be legal.

by Anonymousreply 12January 31, 2021 10:53 PM

R12 Fuck off, dyke. As if dyķ weren't constantly buying cum to get pregnant the unnatural way.

by Anonymousreply 13January 31, 2021 11:03 PM

This is is the "first" in the UK? Really? It's fairly common in most of the world.

Also, OP, why did you have to post the link in R1 instead of your OP post?

by Anonymousreply 14January 31, 2021 11:12 PM

[quote] Beautiful people don't necessarily birth beautiful people.

Yeah, but ugly people definitely don't. With attractive people, at least you have a shot.

by Anonymousreply 15January 31, 2021 11:13 PM

I commend him, and wish I were young enough to do the same.

by Anonymousreply 16January 31, 2021 11:14 PM

True R10 but when was the last time you looked around and saw someone beautiful born from ugly parents?

by Anonymousreply 17January 31, 2021 11:17 PM

There is no legal age limit, R16.

by Anonymousreply 18January 31, 2021 11:28 PM

r18, I'm 62 and single. I can hardly stay awake past 10 p.m.

by Anonymousreply 19January 31, 2021 11:55 PM

[quote] Also, OP, why did you have to post the link in [R1] instead of your OP post?

Datalounge hasn’t been letting start threads with links in them the past week or so.

Anyone else having a problem?

by Anonymousreply 20February 1, 2021 5:31 AM

If you were a narcissist r19, you’d buy your crotchfruit as well as a codependent boyfriend.

When you’re dead, the kid is his problem.

by Anonymousreply 21February 1, 2021 5:44 AM

Bald. I might’ve known he’d be bald.

by Anonymousreply 22February 1, 2021 5:46 AM

You knew he’d be bald? Why?

by Anonymousreply 23February 1, 2021 6:05 AM

It seems a pregnant surrogate is the ultimate status symbol for gay men these days. I know a single dad and a married couple who have three kids each through surrogacy.

by Anonymousreply 24February 1, 2021 6:05 AM

Surrogacy is sexual slavery. The people who purchase women’s bodies to trade in human trafficking should be rotting in prison. And separating an infant from his or her mother causes traumatic brain damage, regardless of the circumstances.

by Anonymousreply 25February 1, 2021 6:09 AM

Homophobic rad fem at R25.

by Anonymousreply 26February 1, 2021 6:14 AM

[quote]You knew he’d be bald? Why?

The baby is bald. Genes.

by Anonymousreply 27February 1, 2021 1:13 PM

Having a psycho birth mother who raises her own child and there are plenty of them causes just as much traumatic brain damage.

by Anonymousreply 28February 1, 2021 1:31 PM

Yep. I generally don't believe breeders should be parents. The number of gay boys who've been left scarred by homophobic parents is proof of that.

by Anonymousreply 29February 1, 2021 1:51 PM

Some of R25's posting history:

Transgenderism: A New Operating System for Patriarchy

[QUOTE] The only explanation that makes sense is that transgenderism is providing new tools to implement patriarchy, filling in the cracks in the system left by the work of feminists. The majority of people, at least in the United States where research has been conducted, do not believe in or want transgender ideology. Professions and organizations do implement it, nonetheless, their raison d’etre is to promote patriarchy.

Goodbye to Gay Rights!

[quote] People aren't talking nearly enough about the Equality Act that Biden says he'll enact within 100 days of taking office.

[quote] This act changes the definition of "sex" in the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include "gender identity." This will make all sex-based rights impossible to enforce. Should Sex Work Be Normalized?

Is everyone saying “sex work is work” in this thread cool with being denied unemployment if you get downsized and refuse to whore yourself? You’re ok with all social safety net services being replaced with the option of prostitution? Because that’s where this goes.

by Anonymousreply 30February 2, 2021 4:23 PM

The only absolute beauty/ugly breeding rule is that if a beautiful person and an ugly person have a daughter, she will look like the ugly parent.

Everything else is a crapshoot.

by Anonymousreply 31February 3, 2021 8:04 AM

Who knows what kind of jawline lies beneath that beard.

Oh, well. He’s very brave, so good luck to him.

by Anonymousreply 32February 3, 2021 8:24 AM

So happy for him 💓 Beautiful 🌹

by Anonymousreply 33February 3, 2021 8:34 AM

[quote]Beautiful people don't necessarily birth beautiful people. Look around sometimes.

People don't birth people full stop. People bear people or give birth to people.

People berth ships.

by Anonymousreply 34February 3, 2021 10:23 AM

OP of this thread makes some good points:

r13 Using 'dyke' as a slur on a gay board? Really?

by Anonymousreply 36February 4, 2021 12:49 AM

Why don’t you take a look at what people have said about gay men on this thread alone, R36?

by Anonymousreply 37February 4, 2021 5:13 AM

I’m glad I had an abortion.

by Anonymousreply 38February 4, 2021 5:19 AM

Breeders do this narcissistic shit every day of the week and no one says a thing except "what a miracle" it is.

My old boss did this, she didnt want to go through with the discomfort of labor. So being the upwardly Boomer she was, she just bought one. Jokes on her, last time I checked the kid was 16 and looked like an ugly ginger Jeffery Dahmer.

by Anonymousreply 39February 4, 2021 5:25 AM

On a teacher's salary? He's nuts.

by Anonymousreply 40February 4, 2021 5:59 AM

And what's going to be that creature's carbon footprint? HMMM? HMMMMMMMM????

by Anonymousreply 41February 4, 2021 6:42 AM

r39 Potentially that sounds like an utter nightmare in the making!

by Anonymousreply 42February 17, 2021 4:33 AM

When and why did this trend of men taking off their shirt to hold the baby? Is it some deep seated need to nurse the baby perhaps? I find it strange.

by Anonymousreply 43February 17, 2021 5:22 AM

Is that shit in the birthing pool ?

by Anonymousreply 44February 17, 2021 6:17 AM

They never think about the needs of the baby. This doesn't bode well for that kids future.

by Anonymousreply 45February 17, 2021 6:31 AM

r45, no, it doesn't bode well for anyone to come into the world via human trafficking for a parent who thinks women's bodies are rental commodities.

by Anonymousreply 46February 17, 2021 8:34 AM

Kill all homophobic dykes.

by Anonymousreply 47February 17, 2021 8:04 PM

It's not "men" who do this. It's parents in general who've been counseled to do this, because according to specialists it's comforting for the baby to have skin to skin contact with the parents.

by Anonymousreply 48February 17, 2021 8:05 PM

[quote] They never think about the needs of the baby. This doesn't bode well for that kids future.

Of course all gay men think of their children’s future. Because no gay man can have a child without a huge amount of effort. It’s straight women who usually don’t.

by Anonymousreply 49February 17, 2021 8:46 PM

r49 Certainly gay men cannot have children accidentally. They HAVE to be planned events and in that regard a lot(although not all) of reckless ,unplanned and chaotic situations and outcomes will be avoided.
