I did go through the ho's follow list before she deleted it (sure you're not just as paranoid considering how awful she is!), and she did not follow Ben's private account. Also since she's deleted her follows (private account???), Ben has not followed anyone new or allowed any new follows on his private account. Speculation ensue! Also I'll mention. . . he removed two private follows for the new year (rolls eyes) and subsequently hasn't liked any posts of that old 'we know she was his girlfriend' VERY young model since. Did he actually unfollow an ex??? Shock!! Though it is surprising considering she often posts the same vile 'affirmation quotes' posts and other insipid feel-good nonsense that the ho does. A few quick things while i am not paywalled:

- JH has some sort of health condition that would make it very difficult if not impossible for her to get pregnant naturally. She did a bunch of interviews about it while married about how she froze her eggs just in case, but her and Brooks having kids/wanting kids was a stalling point if i remember correctly. If he’s looking for kids that way, it likely would not be with her.

- rayanna just broke up with a guy that she dated for roughly a year. Throughout that time BB occasionally liked her pictures - mostly the ones that had something to do with her career though. I don’t think those likes/that follow really mean anything because it was pretty consistent even when she was in a relationship.

- he unfollowed Derek on his private account. I believe he also briefly followed another of nina and Zelda’s friends (Danielle Campbell) for a few days from the private account right around his birthday but then unfollowed her too. She dated Louis from 1D for a while and is currently in a relationship with a guy she’s on a show with, so who knows what’s up with that.

Seems weird he would break the streak and stop liking every one of her posts if he was with her at that point.

Personally, there are just too many smoking guns here (the shirt sharing is one) for me to dismiss this possible relationship or hookup outright. But that being said, like R94 mentioned, he still seems to have been melancholy as hell, and although I hope this isn’t a thing, I would hope that she’s at least making him happy if it is — especially if he’s risking it all going to Montana, which would seem to be out of character with the careful persona he’s crafted over the years. In any case, I’m sure more Shadow and Bone stuff will come out for everyone to discuss (or not discuss) soon.

That's hilarious! It's part of the reason I like him, that is face and personality don't match. It's frustrating and exciting, just because most people are so easy to read.

His dark eyes look sexy in that screen shot. I crushed on him starting with Westworld, so I obviously like the Logan look. Still, I think the character would have been better without the beard. He's supposed to look really young, Dorian-like. Ben still looks much younger than his age when he is beardless, but he basically looks like a quality upper 30's with it. I like the poster shot less so, it looks like he's trying too hard to look dark, but you can almost see him smiling.

R285 I don’t think that BB - despite his Montana shenanigans- would risk his parents’ health. I actually think he was a lot more careful in Sept/Oct. If you remember, he went from LA to Vancouver for 1-day filming on 23 Sept, requiring a negative test & SQ during that time. I think he then high-tailed it over to the UK pretty soon after that, maybe 3 days’ total stay.

I think he possibly stayed in Shoreditch House in London (where his ex cast-mate bumped into him when he was swimming). It’s a members only hotel and I could see him choosing to stay there rather than with family members. London wasn’t in lockdown at that point, and he could meet up with his family as long as it was socially distanced.

The Cornwall vid was posted on 10 Oct, but of course we don’t know when it was filmed. But that would make it bang on the end of the 14 day SQ period if he went to the UK on/around 26 Sept.

And believe it or not, our wonderful govt - in Dec, when we’d gone into Tier 4 in London, really another lockdown - allowed certain sectors into the country without SQ.

Second thing. BB's personal account has had only 99 posts for years now. If memory serves, it jumped up to 99 when he started filming Punisher 2. Wasn't that like, February 2018? Three years and that count has stayed at 99 posts. We assume he just posts baby it's cold outside stories all the time. (And maybe that he's waiting to introduce the love of his life as his 100th post! Let's have fun!!) A few hours ago, shortly before full deletion, the post count dropped to 98. I'm not actually insane so obviously wasn't watching live to see more numbers potentially change, but I definitely did notice the 98 from 99.

But maybe that's why he only ever posts stories, not actual posts? Seriously though, what could possibly be "incriminating" about posts that are three years old??? He's a happy fella finally back with his lady!!! Then it's all over by the end of January.

They head down to the water’s edge. A shadowy figure lurks in the treeline, emerging and moving commando-like around each tree trunk until he’s near the others, but still partially hidden.

I could see his attitude going either way right now — remember when he said in an interview that he once got into an argument with a woman who demanded personal info from him and who said it was his obligation to share as a public figure? He said at the time that he tends to avoid arguments, but that’s how passionate he is about keeping a tight lid on his personal life. I can imagine him taking all the calls for accountability right now as a personal attack and, yes, being pissed off about all this.

But he’s also the person who deleted that Shaun King post when he got called out for reposting from a grifter, and who unfollowed Chris D’Elia and deleted their selfie together right after those tweets about D’Elia being a creep went viral. He also deleted his tweet appearing to support “peaceful protest over riots” during the summer of BLM protests after getting checked by his followers, so I want to believe that he has a sense of right and wrong and is willing to correct his behavior when called out on it. BUT if he actually is in a relationship with JH and feels like he’s being attacked so personally after finally finding “happiness,” I could see him digging his heels in. Whatever relationship they have has unfortunately already motivated him towards Montanagate, which seemed way out of character for him, so I think we’re in a bit of a Wild West right now in terms of his behavior.

I’m with R485, what he does next will determine how I feel about him, because I’ve lost almost all respect for him, but I want to give him another chance if he’s actually remorseful for any of this. Not that there’s anything wrong with this, but he’s always seemed drawn by superficial fame. If he wanted to work on his ~craft, he might have stayed in London or even just taken more UK-based roles. At the very least, he wouldn’t have campaigned so publicly for roles like Batman, Tangled, or Bond — not that they aren’t great roles, but the intent to be mainstream-level popular seems clear.

Plus, he followed up good mature roles in Westworld, Punisher, and Gold Digger with.... a fantasy YA role. I’m sure S&B is right up his alley of fantasy villain, but it probably didn’t hurt that he apparently didn’t have to audition, and will likely get the prestigious “and Ben Barnes” credit in it.

I've never seen a single Bond film mainly for the same reasons as above. And acting skills are DEFINITELY not required to play Bond. Cons are where desperate people who know that they'll never become either proper actors or real movies stars go to profit off of their looks/niche genre appeal/nostalgia. Not much separating Ben from Bo and Luke Duke at this point. Even teen dream Mark Hamill reinvented himself as an award-winning voice actor.

I don't know if I agree about cons. They can also be for up-and-comers, usually making a name for themselves in fantasy/sci-fi. This is kind of Ben's second coming for his career. He had his Narnia success but it was dashed with mostly badly picked roles (god that movie where he dies in the beginning but doesn't know it.... I can't remember the name even). Westworld and The Punisher has gotten his name and face back out there (he's sometimes referred to "Westworld actor" instead of "Prince Caspian" in print) so he's trying to be better about growing momentum this time. I just wish he would've held out for a better role than S&B. Now it's gonna take up most of his time, so he will miss out on even the chance for things like Lord Of The Rings or the GOT prequel. Theater is our only hope, as he should have some time in between shooting once it's back in business. I don't fault him for it. I think it's actually more natural for him than pimping himself on social media. I don't think he even likes that much, and refused to do it for a while. But again, second coming. I think he prefers Cons because he gets to interact with fans the old fashioned way, photos and autographs and talking about your project, instead of making dumb videos about "Bancakes".

Before Covid hit, people on here were bashing him for one Con saying it was the graveyard of talent (I believe that one ended up cancelled). For heaven's sake it had Andrew Scott participating in it, and his career is on a meteoric trajectory these days and he's not exactly lowbrow. He's probably one of the best pure actors there is around these days.

Curious thought I just had as I caught a clip of Michael Steele's pre-impeachment interview this morning. The overall consensus is democrats are putting up evidence and cogent arguments and trump's lawyers are just rambling about nothing and employing whataboutism. Steele made the comment that went something like, "all they're (trump's lawyers) doing is playing to their base. They're doing nothing to bring us together, nothing to heal the country."

Since this fiasco is on my mind a lot lately, I immediately compared the statement. Change it to.. the people calling out BB for his bad behavior are showing evidence and putting up cogent arguments, and his fanatics are doing nothing but denying what the "filthy" media says and burying their heads in the sand and mindlessly rambling about how wonderful and perfect their King is. They believe he did nothing at all wrong and shouldn't face any consequences. And trump's side will never admit fault. There will never be any accountability. There will never be any consequences. Who among the DL thinks trump will EVER be convicted by his bootlickers in the senate? So those of us who felt betrayed by Ben's behavior will never get any closure, we'll never get anything out of this except lingering "pain." Sucks for those of us who *actually* care.

Ben has carefully crafted his own CULT of personality over the years, and they consider him infallible. What's the worst that could happen.

(Also anyone see the new Ellen Degeneres interview where she decries the hard time she had after her bad behavior came to light? It was so tough for her, it hurt so much that everyone was calling her out. So thank god she had Portia, who got her through it all. Because Ellen was the real victim in her situation. But.. has she suffered any losses afterwards? Has she faced any consequences at all? I don't follow her closely but all I've heard about is she "suffered" bad press. People found out she wasn't the bubbly, good person she projected into the world. Yet, she still has all her power. She still has all her money. She's gonna be just fine in the future. The people that she victimized? Who knows how they'll do, and who cares, they're not rich and powerful. They don't have fans. And they don't have PR people to carefully (re)craft their images and stories. Nope, Ellen and her pain are the real story here. People in Hollywood are ALL alike.
