Why does he look like he’s in front of a green screen? Do they digitally slim his neck? The shirt collar line and his neck looks off.

Donald J Trump: - Censored for his Racist Statements - Impeached (1) for his Abuse of Power - Impeached (2) for his Inciting anInsurrection against the US Government
For the win; the worst President in the history of The United States.

How many Republicans voted to impeach in the House?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 13, 2021 10:56 PM |
Just stunning how partisan the speeches were during the impeachment proceedings, eg. Trump will only be in power for seven more days; Trump didn't want the protestors to attack the Capitol. On and on and on.
Trump can literally do anything and the vast majority of Republican congressmen will try their damnedest to justify and minimize what he's done and refuse to impeach. It's all about damage control for the party. Truly sickening.

10 of them R10, If you ever want to watch our political process from abroad in future the website C-SPAN has cameras in the house and Senate and is available overseas whereas a lot of the news networks can be hard to access without a subscription or a VPN.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 13, 2021 11:01 PM |
If that party on the Tweet at R6 'took off' it would poach the real crazies from the Republicans and make them very easy to beat for a while.

I'm betting somewhere in a Capital restroom, Nancy is doing the happy dance of joy!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 13, 2021 11:07 PM |
R11, that's because the majority of Republicans still support Trump.
Let's wait to see if he's shown to be complicit in planning the insurrection, or if any of the LE entities held support back at his direction. Virtually every source with inside knowledge is intimating that the rebellion went deeper than has been made public.
Then even of the sheeple support him, the senate will have a hard time voting not to convict.

[quote]How many Republicans voted to impeach in the House?
Supposedly more than 10 Republicans in the House of Representatives were considering voting to impeach but they were worried about their personal safety and that of their families.

Is no one going to discuss the video at R2???? I find it so bizarre the he released this on the day of his second impeachment, rather than on the 6th when he could have communicated all of THIS to the rioters, instead of telling them "we love you, you are special."
Do you think this is some sort of faustian pact to keep from getting convicted by the Senate? Like, he promised Mitch he would put this video out if Mitch could deliver him from conviction? This is exactly what he should have been saying on the 6th.
As for condemning the social media blackout, he can go suck one. He created ALL OF THIS BULLSHIT.

10 voted to impeach, R17. There's a rundown of each on Axios
by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 13, 2021 11:12 PM |
I hope you're right, R16.
Anyways it will go down in history what Trump has done and how many Republican congressmen refused to impeach.

NYT: "Advisers said that Mr. Trump had to be dissuaded from going to the House floor to try to defend himself during Wednesday's impeachment proceeding."
by Anonymous | reply 32 | January 14, 2021 2:16 AM |
Rudy is obviously having a bad week...
A group of former assistant U.S. attorneys who worked with Rudy Giuliani when he served as a federal prosecutor say that his comments before the riot, in which he urged Trump supporters to engage in "trial by combat," contributed to the loss of life.

Damn trump has:
- lost the election
- lost the popular vote TWICE
- gotten impeached TWICE
- No Twitter, IG, FB, YouTube or Pinterest
- Debts over $400 million
- No legal protection after Jan 20th
You love to see it.

President Biden:
Today, in a bipartisan vote, the House voted to impeach and hold President Trump accountable. Now, the process continues to the Senate—and I hope they’ll deal with their Constitutional responsibilities on impeachment while also working on the other urgent business of this nation.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | January 14, 2021 2:21 AM |
R32 Well, that may have broken last Wednesday's TV rating. Can you imagine? But I hope and pray we won't see much of Biden. I'm done with the reality show and the constant drama. It's been a 4 year telenovela. Do you remember when he was lifted off in a chopper? Doesn't that seem like a soap plotline in sweeps week? My adrenals are fatigued. I want to be underwhelmed now. I want Morning Joe to put me back asleep.

The most important Republican in the House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, publicly said that Trump bears responsibility for the attack on Congress last Wednesday by mob rioters, but he still voted not to impeach. This is what the Democrats are up against.
Republicans: Let's reach across the aisle to our Democratic brothers and sisters, and sing "Kumbaya" and pretend none of this ever happened.

Actually, Corden got off a good line about it: Impeached twice in four years and , like Trump's sons, the second one was the most embarrassing.

I don’t even get why that’s news. Talk about misogynistic!
Does anyone give a fuck what suit Jerry Nadler wore? Or Steny Hoyer? Or any male Rep.?
Or that Trump wears the same suit and tie every fucking day?
by Anonymous | reply 47 | January 14, 2021 7:32 PM |
For those with a discerning eye, have any of you noticed that Trump's hair is again white, Miss Lindsey's hair is also white (not the usual blonde weave), and Nancy's highlights are too low?
by Anonymous | reply 48 | January 14, 2021 7:46 PM |
I'm gone greyer just watching this shitshow, I'm amazed those people have any hair left at all! Nancy's roots are brown though, at 80? She won the genetic lottery. I'm grey at 35.

R49 - the heck they are. She has an elaborate dye job. TBH her and Trump had a lot of work done and as much as we hate him, for his age, la Senatrice has very few wrinkles.

Yet those same Republicans were absolutely adamant that Bill Clinton had to be impeached for the good of the country because he lied about having consensual sex with an adult female.

I really cannot understand Pence remaining loyal to Trump. Because of Trump's outrageous lies, Pence now has a target on his back. If I were him, I would have resigned the day after the riots and never spoken to Trump again.
