[quote]That dude is paranoid too. I heard him on the radio once saying that he didnt trust the stock market so he put 1 million dollars in over 100 different banks. So even if one bank fails he wont lose all his money. Um, ok, ever hear of real estate?
What dude is paranoid about money? Sting? Well, at the beginning of The Police's success, he was ripped off by a few million. Pretty sure Sting is into investing AND real estate.
He sure is into real estate, Sting has about seven-eight homes. This is dependent on which one he's sold etc.
In the early 1980s, he had two NYC residences. One downtown in Soho, a loft and Billy Joel's former CPW duplex, which he paid around 1 million for, spare change these days. He sold that place for over $25 million!
Sting sold his Soho loft, then he continued to live in Billy Joel's former CPW duplex, he then sold that. Sting then bought a 'new build' co-op which was made to look like a pre-war. That beautiful apartment, which was in an AM Stern building, was sold in 2017 for about $50 million. He then rented in a building near the High Line.
The Sumner's next move was to 220 Central Park South in 2018. Sting also has a house in the Hamptons and another home in Malibu.
Sting has a huge estate in Tuscany, where his vineyard is located. A few years back, the ever delusional Trudie claimed that Italy was her parents "native country." Styler doesn't sound like a very Italian last name. Not sure where and when her parents ever lived in Italy. Trudie supposedly grew up dirt poor in a rural area of England, in a home without a toilet. Trudie's father was a farmer who later worked in a lampshade factory!
Sting also owns an 18th century house in London and a 16th century estate in Wiltshire, called Lake House. Sting's album "Ten Summoner's Tales" was written and recorded there. The estate can be seen in a concert film about the recording of the album.
There was yet another house in Ireland, I think that was sold many years ago.
Sting is supposedly with around $400 million. He made some of his millions re-selling his real estate investments.
