When there was the Kanye thing at the video whatever award, I'd never seen her white ass before. Same goes for Kanye West, who I didn't know either. The only one I very vaguely knew of was Beyonce (who I find boring).

The only reason I even knew about this incident (other than it had become viral), was because Barack Obama had commented on it calling Ye "a jackass".
