Blanche would have worn a "Trump can grab MY pussy" wrap dress.

by Anonymousreply 2November 4, 2020 9:05 PM

How would Coco have voted?

by Anonymousreply 3November 4, 2020 9:06 PM

Rose wouldn't be a Republican.

by Anonymousreply 4November 4, 2020 9:06 PM

I've not had the time to keep up with this all day. By my count the most likely scenario is Biden 270 - Trump 268, right?

by Anonymousreply 5November 4, 2020 9:06 PM

Because if so I don't know whether to LOOOOOOOOLLLLLL or EEEEEEEPPP!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 6November 4, 2020 9:07 PM

Frieda Claxton would have voted for Trump for sure.

by Anonymousreply 7November 4, 2020 9:07 PM

I’m starting to hyperventilate

🤢🥴🤭😨🥺

by Anonymousreply 8November 4, 2020 9:07 PM

Has anyone checked on Kirstie Alley?

by Anonymousreply 9November 4, 2020 9:07 PM

Jaime Harrison spent $109 million and lost by 11 points. What the fuck was he doing with that money?

by Anonymousreply 10November 4, 2020 9:08 PM

R5, no Biden is winning PA. We just don’t want to wait for that shit

by Anonymousreply 11November 4, 2020 9:08 PM

Keep an eye on Georgia, we still have a close race in Georgia.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 12November 4, 2020 9:08 PM

I’ll be sucking Mexican cock in honor of Nevada and Arizona.

by Anonymousreply 13November 4, 2020 9:08 PM

CNN and MSNBC are projecting 253 electoral votes for Biden and FOX has it at 264!!

by Anonymousreply 14November 4, 2020 9:09 PM

GA is too close to call. Joe is getting closer

by Anonymousreply 15November 4, 2020 9:09 PM

R10, SC started the civil war. You think they would have 2 black senators?

by Anonymousreply 16November 4, 2020 9:09 PM

Nope r5. The Dems are very, very confident Biden is going to win PA. All the number crunchers seem to agree.

by Anonymousreply 17November 4, 2020 9:09 PM

I saw Jaime Harrison ads here in NYC, multiple times a day. What was the point of that? He should be investigated, that whole campaign is starting to look like one giant grift to get NY and CA liberals to send him a bunch of money.

by Anonymousreply 18November 4, 2020 9:09 PM

R11 a win in PA would be glorious.

by Anonymousreply 19November 4, 2020 9:10 PM

If Georgia also comes along, the critics calling out Black and Hispanic voters can go fuck themselves.

by Anonymousreply 20November 4, 2020 9:10 PM

R10, he is a great candidate. SC is just sucky.

by Anonymousreply 21November 4, 2020 9:10 PM

"Dorothy,I'm confused. The dots on the ballot? Where are the numbers telling me the order in which I connect them to reveal a smiling clown?"

by Anonymousreply 22November 4, 2020 9:10 PM

Someone on the other thread asked if PA is accepting ballots until Friday. Yes, but they had to be mailed on or before election day.

by Anonymousreply 23November 4, 2020 9:10 PM
The pessimist side of me is still thinking Trump will sneak out the win.

Yeah, like the end of a horror movie when they think they’ve escaped alive but the monster appears in the back seat, etc.

by Anonymousreply 24November 4, 2020 9:11 PM

I'd like to think that Blanche would've been influenced by her gay brother and his partner. They are really close and loves her brother a lot.

by Anonymousreply 25November 4, 2020 9:11 PM

He lost because of VOTER SUPPRESSION.

by Anonymousreply 26November 4, 2020 9:11 PM

Thanks, R23.

by Anonymousreply 27November 4, 2020 9:11 PM

Lincoln party guys are pretty dang quiet today....they got humiliated

by Anonymousreply 28November 4, 2020 9:11 PM

R23 that’s the lawsuit going on now, right? Fuck them, every vote cast before the end of Election Day needs to be counted.

by Anonymousreply 29November 4, 2020 9:12 PM

Only on DL Golden Girls are able to take over election thread. Love it!

by Anonymousreply 30November 4, 2020 9:12 PM

It really feels like a lifetime between now and last night when I went to bed early and tried to stop myself from having a panic attack

by Anonymousreply 31November 4, 2020 9:13 PM

Blanche would want to fuck Biden, though.

by Anonymousreply 32November 4, 2020 9:13 PM

Michael Steele is the whitest looking Black man

by Anonymousreply 33November 4, 2020 9:13 PM

R13 You do that anyway puta.

by Anonymousreply 34November 4, 2020 9:13 PM

Goddammit, he's exhausting even while losing.

by Anonymousreply 35November 4, 2020 9:14 PM

Barbara Thorndyke voted for Trump to cancel out Murray Gutman's Biden vote.

by Anonymousreply 36November 4, 2020 9:14 PM

NV needs to come through then it’s game OVAH!

by Anonymousreply 37November 4, 2020 9:14 PM

AZ feels like it’s slipping away. Did the AP retract their call?

by Anonymousreply 38November 4, 2020 9:15 PM

All the men Blanche fucked would have been huge Trump voters.

by Anonymousreply 39November 4, 2020 9:15 PM

Trump needs GOP money for all these crap lawsuits. He's not paying for shit himself. If the GOP decides to cut their losses because he has no path to 270, he can scream all he wants, but no one is going to foot the bill for his legal tantrums. Sheldon Adelson already told him to fuck off months ago.

by Anonymousreply 40November 4, 2020 9:15 PM

R32 Blanche would’ve ALREADY fucked Biden.

by Anonymousreply 41November 4, 2020 9:15 PM

Blanche would have a story about how Trump wanted her.

by Anonymousreply 42November 4, 2020 9:16 PM

R28, what you mean? They helped ups.

The only fucked up shit was Miami. If Biden met Clinton’ number he would have won Florida.

Texas is now a battle state, never was before. Georgia and North Carolina are now purple. It’s a good election for Dems but not great for the Senate, but if we can narrow their lead will be good.

by Anonymousreply 43November 4, 2020 9:16 PM

I need Brian Williams and Jon Meacham to add some authority and gravitas to what’s unfolding.

by Anonymousreply 44November 4, 2020 9:16 PM

Biden won. GA Sen seats headed for run-off. 50-50 senate.

by Anonymousreply 45November 4, 2020 9:17 PM

James Carville is also in hiding today. He said as late as yesterday at 6pm that we would all be in bed by 11pm.

by Anonymousreply 46November 4, 2020 9:17 PM

For those calling PA for Biden, he’s down by like 6 points there right now. How you figure?

by Anonymousreply 47November 4, 2020 9:18 PM

That GA runoff is where the really nasty battle will be. The GOP will have dumped Trump by then and that will be where they focus their resources and lawsuits.

by Anonymousreply 48November 4, 2020 9:18 PM
Rose wouldn't be a Republican.

Neither would Buck.

by Anonymousreply 49November 4, 2020 9:19 PM

R46, he said last night he would have his drink on Friday.

by Anonymousreply 50November 4, 2020 9:19 PM
AZ feels like it’s slipping away. Did the AP retract their call?

No, they didn’t.

Current numbers:

Biden: 51.0

Trump: 47.6

by Anonymousreply 51November 4, 2020 9:19 PM

R47, Philly yet to come in

by Anonymousreply 52November 4, 2020 9:19 PM

There’s a million votes out in PA, a lot from philly and Biden is doing much better than Hillary did in trump counties. Biden will win PA easily

by Anonymousreply 53November 4, 2020 9:20 PM

Blanche probably DID fuck Biden, way back in the day, R32.

by Anonymousreply 54November 4, 2020 9:20 PM

Thanks, r52!

by Anonymousreply 55November 4, 2020 9:20 PM

R28, but they did manage one tweet to warn Loeffler for the upcoming runoff election. Based on the fuck all they achieved (relative to all that swagger and trash talk), I'm sure Loeffler is quaking in her heels. LP targeted Collins, Graham and Ernest and all three won easily. LP is taking credit for CO and AZ but Hickenlooper won by such a wide margin, I doubt the absence of LP would have made a difference. In AZ, Kelly won pretty easily too and he is a globally famous astronaut. Again, a vote here or there, but he likely would have won even if LP never existed.

Maybe LP made a tiny difference here and there but they way overpromised and way under-delivered. They'll claim victory if Trump loses but it seems pretty phyrric to me. Their senate campaign was a total fizzle.

by Anonymousreply 56November 4, 2020 9:21 PM

Donald just announced he hereby claims NC, PA, and GA.

He doth bring us the proclamation of such via the Tweeter.

by Anonymousreply 57November 4, 2020 9:21 PM

You too, r53.

by Anonymousreply 58November 4, 2020 9:21 PM

by Anonymousreply 64November 4, 2020 9:23 PM

Disgruntled Repubs are furious that Fox called it early and they are all over Twitter claiming Trump can win so I guess people are picking up some if those

by Anonymousreply 68November 4, 2020 9:23 PM

Trump is acting like a child. People need to grab him and tell him how to behave if he wants to get his own TV network or plan for business post POTUS.

Having said that, it would mean he was a good businessman and sane adult. Maybe some of his supporters will see what a moron he is.

by Anonymousreply 69November 4, 2020 9:24 PM

Not Mel Bushman, R39.

by Anonymousreply 70November 4, 2020 9:24 PM

Winning Georgia would be great: more investment to make it the next Virginia.

by Anonymousreply 71November 4, 2020 9:24 PM

Joe’s got this, right?

by Anonymousreply 72November 4, 2020 9:25 PM

Lincoln Project put up that (admittedly funny) billboard about Jared and Ivanka in NYC. During a pandemic, when tourism is down. Who was their audience, exactly?

Granted, they lucked out that the 2 dumbasses opted to go the Streisand effect route, but if their goal was to convert Republicans disgusted by Trump, why not do so it more strategic places?

by Anonymousreply 73November 4, 2020 9:25 PM

If Biden wins Arizona, I will personally never say another bad thing about Cindy McCain or Meghan.

by Anonymousreply 74November 4, 2020 9:26 PM

R51 Biden won Arizona. The only ballots left are in Phoenix and Tucson where Biden is winning easily.

by Anonymousreply 75November 4, 2020 9:26 PM

Yup MSNBC calling them president and vice president elect now

by Anonymousreply 76November 4, 2020 9:26 PM

Biden doesn't need GA but I hope a win would drag Ossoff along for the ride.

by Anonymousreply 77November 4, 2020 9:26 PM

Not PollTroll but Faux News says the outstanding 650K vote in AZ is same day mail in ballots handed in, and the Trump campaign thinks about 58% of it is GOP vote same day vote which will put them over Biden.

by Anonymousreply 87November 4, 2020 9:28 PM

R34 But now it will feel extra special for him. What a way to celebrate!

by Anonymousreply 88November 4, 2020 9:28 PM

by Anonymousreply 90November 4, 2020 9:29 PM

I wonder....could the Trumpsters lose faith in Fox and move off to less mainstream conservative radio and smaller channels. Imagine if they fade out over the next few years like the tea party. Of course these people will be susceptible to the next looney movement but nevertheless to get Trump out of our daily lives...

by Anonymousreply 91November 4, 2020 9:29 PM

Did Ruth Buzzi, in or out of EVITA, vote for Trump?

by Anonymousreply 92November 4, 2020 9:30 PM

Report from the trenches: A blonde bimbo on Faux just said about Trump's outrageous 2am speech, 'The President is fighting not only about himself but about all his supporters, the people he got to meet at his rallies. He's so emotional because he saw earlier last night that he was ahead."

Of course Faux knows this was same-day vote, heavily pro-Trump. They also know that any normal human being over the age of 5 will understand the simple concept of 'you can't claim victory the moment you get ahead if there's so much vote left to be counted.' But did they say it out loud - No.

by Anonymousreply 100November 4, 2020 9:33 PM

Cindy mcain is good friends with joe biden. This is one of the reason we went with biden in the primary. Cindy and joe could take arizona, a purple state.

by Anonymousreply 101November 4, 2020 9:33 PM

Joe has won Michigan thanks to massive turnout in Detroit. He will also carry Arizona and possibly Nevada.

So much for the crypto deplorable "blame Blacks and Latinos" narrative. Look who is carrying the election right now.

by Anonymousreply 102November 4, 2020 9:33 PM

Pete's a given in the cabinet. He was a great asset, Joe sees his potential and Kamala and her husband bonded with Pete and his husband on the campaign trail so he's in like Flynn.

And Meghan McCain - all the shrieking she and her husband do about the left and all the lies and distortions they peddle and they have the gall to check the American public for not voting for Biden in greater numbers? BS.

by Anonymousreply 103November 4, 2020 9:33 PM

it's funny because trump hates the mccains.

by Anonymousreply 104November 4, 2020 9:34 PM

by Anonymousreply 105November 4, 2020 9:35 PM

For anybody who hates Trump and wants him to experience maximum pain, this couldn’t have gone any better. He went to bed last night confident that he won the election, then he had his heart ripped out. Trump is devastated right now.

by Anonymousreply 106November 4, 2020 9:35 PM

Yep, R102. An important lesson is developing:

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 107November 4, 2020 9:36 PM

The issue in Georgia is 40,000 mail in ballots being thrown out because signatures can’t be verified. People, check your ballot status and fix it if you must.

by Anonymousreply 108November 4, 2020 9:36 PM

R102 -- one of the positive things that will come out of this election is the destruction of the myth of the "Latino vote" -- that's like talking about the "European vote" -- the Venezolanos and Cubans in Miami are white and regard themselves as VERY different than Mexicans and Puerto Ricans.

by Anonymousreply 109November 4, 2020 9:37 PM

Kamala was in Detroit on the morning of the election. Clinton lost because of low turnout there so Biden was really targeting it. Looking across the country African Americans came out for Biden everywhere. They deserve a black VP and they deserve the respect of being considered a vital part of our party and not a nuisance that has to be pandered to.

by Anonymousreply 110November 4, 2020 9:37 PM

Oh please, Trump hasn't slept. Trump has been up for 48 hours in an Adderall fueled binge. He's tweaked the fuck out.

by Anonymousreply 111November 4, 2020 9:37 PM

by Anonymousreply 112November 4, 2020 9:37 PM

by Anonymousreply 120November 4, 2020 9:40 PM

Nate Cohn, in New York 4m ago

Trump’s lead in Georgia is down to 1.4 points with a lot of Democratic vote still out. Will be razor thin here, and a recount seems likely either way.

With Nevada releasing additional ballots later today, Biden now has a reasonable path to clearing the 270 electoral vote threshold tonight.

Arizona Republic did a good job tracking the remaining 600,000+ votes in AZ:

[bold]~450,000 Maricopa County:[/bold]

* 248,000 early ballots that arrived on Monday and Tuesday.

* 160,000 to 180,000 early ballots that were dropped off on Election Day.

* 18,000 provisional ballots, about 10,000 of which are from Election Day and the remainder from early voting.

[bold]Other counties[/bold]

* 49,000 ballots, including 18,000 provisional, Pima County

* 43,000 Pinal County, most of which were early ballots.

* 10,394 in Yuma County, a majority of which also were early ballots.

* 8,210 in Yavapai County, mostly early ballots.

* 8,000 in Coconino County, a figure that only includes early ballots that arrived in the mail before Election Day, but not those dropped off Tuesday or any provisional votes.

* 12,000 ballots remain in Cochise County.

* 13,000 ballots in Apache, 2,350 ballots in Gila County, 274 in Santa Cruz County, 1,103 in Graham County and 652 in Greenlee County.

Hillary’s 65,853,514 total in 2016
There’s a million votes out in PA, a lot from philly and Biden is doing much better than Hillary did in trump counties. Biden will win PA easily

I posted in the original thread, that there are so many people here in PA who voted for Trump last time, but said "never again" after seeing what a disaster he became. He won by a slim margin here last time, and he has now lost too many of his 2016 voters who either stayed home or voted Biden this time. There's no way he can win PA...the math doesn't add up.

by Anonymousreply 147November 4, 2020 9:51 PM

If Biden takes PA we should all sing "Hard Hearted Hannah, the Vamp of Savannah" in celebration.

by Anonymousreply 148November 4, 2020 9:51 PM

R140 Thank you, thank you.

by Anonymousreply 149November 4, 2020 9:51 PM

by Anonymousreply 151November 4, 2020 9:52 PM

Della, stop digging. For once.

by Anonymousreply 152November 4, 2020 9:52 PM

Trump will never give a concession speech. He will not do any kind of inauguration activity or anything resembling handing over the reigns to Biden. And there will be some poo pooing for a couple days about "norms," but that will be overtaken with talk about how is not technically required, so why should he? And then they'll go back to reporting his rage tweets and he'll call into Fox and Friends every morning and he'll stage his own press conferences where he'll say all kinds of stupid shit that gets bullhorned by respectable media outlets under the guise of "if the former President says it, it's news."

by Anonymousreply 153November 4, 2020 9:52 PM

Those AZ ballots that came in Mon and Tues make me scream out, "Why can't you vote and send in your ballot earlier, ya feckin' procrastinatin' eejits?!"

by Anonymousreply 154November 4, 2020 9:53 PM

My neighbor, whom I loathe, was bitching awhile ago that he signed up to donate once-per-week to the Trump campaign, and it was supposed to end on November 1, but they've already charged his card again. He can't get a response when calling or emailing to stop it.

I love that Don is going to keep fleecing his flock to the bitter end.

by Anonymousreply 155November 4, 2020 9:53 PM

Yeah he won’t appear at the inauguration. I guess Pence will, since he’s already trying to repair his image with that statement about counting every vote.

by Anonymousreply 156November 4, 2020 9:54 PM

All this gloating and premature celebrating is really making me nervous guys!

by Anonymousreply 157November 4, 2020 9:54 PM

FYI: About 160M people voted in this election, which is a 67% turnout. So 2020 has highest voter turnout since 1900 @ 74%. But this also means more than 3 out of every10 sat out this year

by Anonymousreply 158November 4, 2020 9:55 PM

R155, send your neighbor that article about the Trump campaign tricking people into making recurring donations. Maybe he’ll learn to trust the mainstream media.
Joe Biden has won Michigan, reclaiming for Democrats another state that barely slipped away four years ago. The win brings Biden just one state away from clinching victory. R35, Trump will continue to hold rallies for the foreseeable future.

Maybe he'll pitch a "Rally? Really!" Reality Show to Mark Burnett (or vice-versa). Filmed on locations throughout the South. Friday nights on NBC. Shown on tape-delay if scheduling conflicts with high school football games.

Or maybe a quiz game! "Trump Said WHAT?!" Contestants must decide if outrageous statements were said by Donald Trump---or not! Winner gets an autographed copy of Trump's new book, "My Struggle."

Most likely, though, is "The Apprentice: White House," the third incarnation of Trump's iconic Reality show. Competitors develop faux-auditions, using anything from Instagram to highway billboards, to be selected as "Forever-President Trump's New Spokesperson." Episode One deals with keeping a straight face while lying about a scene shown to the audience. Tuesday nights on NBC.

Although I'm almost certain Biden has won, I do think the posters who've been accused of concern trolling or being Russian bots over the last few months had a point. A lot of DLers were acting as though a Biden victory was inevitable. In the end, it's been quite a close race.

The absentee votes are all city and suburbs. The Pennsyltucky votes have already been counted and Biden outperformed Hillary's numbers in the rural counties. No way Trump can win.

by Anonymousreply 296November 4, 2020 11:34 PM

That's the EXACT same electoral vote that he beat Hillary by in 2016.

R286 I was accused in a thread a few weeks ago of being a Russian bot spreading fear, which confused the hell out of me. Why would Russian bots want Democrats to be fearful? Fear/nervousness gets people out to the polls. Whereas the over-confidence, well that makes people think they can relax.

Obviously there are some trolls around, but too many people used the accusations of trolling just to avoid hearing anything they didn't like.

From CNN:

The President told one person he was willing to let the legal maneuvering proceed but suggested he did not believe it would be successful in the end. While he said he believes he will win in Arizona, Pennsylvania and Georgia, Trump was skeptical at the lawsuits filed by his team.

Trump hinted at his views in a tweet on Wednesday afternoon: "Our lawyers have asked for ‘meaningful access’, but what good does that do?” he wrote from the White House. “The damage has already been done to the integrity of our system, and to the Presidential Election itself. This is what should be discussed!”

Trump’s campaign has been feverishly soliciting funds for the legal effort on its email list. After Trump’s tweet, one campaign adviser questioned why the President would undercut the effort at the same moment he is seeking new money to support it.

by Anonymousreply 404November 5, 2020 12:43 AM

AP wouldnt call it if they weren’t sure. They were the only ones not to call FL in 2000. It will be close but Biden will win

by Anonymousreply 405November 5, 2020 12:43 AM

AZ I mean

by Anonymousreply 406November 5, 2020 12:43 AM

Two GA, AK, NC. R404

Crickets from Republican legislatures and Governors about Trump's lawsuits. Even Republicans that have spoken to the matter, such as Scott Walker and Chris Christie, expressed views against efforts to stop voting and demand recounts.

Attorney Jay Sekulow will garner millions more for filing these frivolous lawsuits all the way to the USSC. Who is paying his fees? Certainly not Trump.

The loudmouths on this are Don Jr., Eric Trump, and Rudy Giuliani, not the most credible characters.

by Anonymousreply 410November 5, 2020 12:46 AM

Thanks, R407.

And what's the likelihood that Dems are taking any of those?

What's the best case scenario for Dems with regard to the Senate seats?

by Anonymousreply 411November 5, 2020 12:47 AM

r380 After W. and the Supreme Court stole his election he went on television to announce he had a clear mandate from the country and would rule accordingly. The fucker didn't even really win and basically declared himself king! If Joe wins by even one vote we announce Democrats have a clear mandate.

by Anonymousreply 412November 5, 2020 12:48 AM

R411, best case is winning all 4. Most likely won’t win any of them, small chance of one of the Georgia seats.

by Anonymousreply 413November 5, 2020 12:48 AM

Georgia already has 1 run off for Senate. Now apparently Perdue will been in runoff too. So in January we have a chance of two more Senate seats.

by Anonymousreply 414November 5, 2020 12:48 AM

The polls were all showing WI as having the biggest lead for Biden. More evidence that the polls were garbage.

by Anonymousreply 416November 5, 2020 12:50 AM

Perdue is down to 50.2 with 98% counted.

The polls for Wisconsin was horrible. Wisconsin had the worst polls in 2016 and the worst polls in 2020.

by Anonymousreply 420November 5, 2020 12:52 AM

So if two seats go into run off for GA and we happen to get those, we'd have 50-50 with VP splitting the vote.

by Anonymousreply 421November 5, 2020 12:53 AM

I know Dump’s lead in Pennsylvania is less than 200,000... did I hear right that there are still 900,000 ballots to be counted?

by Anonymousreply 422November 5, 2020 12:53 AM

94% counted in the GA Senate election.

That is another race that will stretch into midnight tonight and beyond.

by Anonymousreply 423November 5, 2020 12:53 AM

r423 see r417. 98% counted.

by Anonymousreply 424November 5, 2020 12:54 AM

Per The NY Times:

We received more votes from Montgomery and Luzerne Counties. According to turnout estimates, around 580,000 votes remain in counties won by Hillary Clinton in 2016. Trump 2016 counties have around 190,000 votes left to report.

by Anonymousreply 425November 5, 2020 12:57 AM

So, if the Senate is 50 reds, 48 blues and 2 independents, will Moscow Mitch be the majority leader?

by Anonymousreply 426November 5, 2020 12:58 AM

So about 750,000 votes to be counted in PA still.

by Anonymousreply 427November 5, 2020 12:58 AM

r425 You might want to mention the state you're talking about.

by Anonymousreply 428November 5, 2020 12:59 AM

r426 No. The Vice-President breaks ties, so if it's 50-50, Schumer would be the ML.

by Anonymousreply 429November 5, 2020 1:00 AM

R426, no. Dems.

by Anonymousreply 430November 5, 2020 1:00 AM

r426, no, the two indies would vote with the Democrats making it a 50-50 split and then Kamala Harris would fulfill her role as the president of the Senate and become the 51st tie breaking vote, giving it to the Democrats.

by Anonymousreply 431November 5, 2020 1:00 AM
So if two seats go into run off for GA and we happen to get those, we'd have 50-50 with VP splitting the vote.

Even if Dems only take one of those seats, and it's 49D-51R... it's always possible that Murkowski or Collins will vote with Dems on some issues, leading to VP Harris the deciding vote. So in any case, it's a better situation than what we have now. And Dems have the possibility of gaining seats in 2022. Pennsylvania Republican Pat Toomey is retiring in 2022...his seat could easily be won by a Dem.

by Anonymousreply 435November 5, 2020 1:03 AM

If it happens, Biden could also thank AA's for giving him Georgia as well since most of the outstanding vote left to count is in and around Atlanta in highly AA's areas.

Maricopa County update: Trump netted 13,644 votes

by Anonymousreply 453November 5, 2020 1:10 AM

R447 yeah that’s what I saw. And that’s all he needs is just over 50%. Then the lead would stay exactly the same because they would each be going up by equal amounts.

by Anonymousreply 454November 5, 2020 1:10 AM
So if two seats go into run off for GA and we happen to get those, we'd have 50-50 with VP splitting the vote.

by Anonymousreply 464November 5, 2020 1:13 AM

Kornacki is saying that Trump needs to be winning this "bucket" of votes by about 60% to pull ahead of Biden in the total vote. So at 59% Trump is slightly below where he needs to be. It's likely to be very close. Kornacki is saying this is why NBC didn't call AZ last night like Fox did.

by Anonymousreply 465November 5, 2020 1:13 AM

600,000 votes in AZ still to be counted, stop prematurely grabbing your pearls, gurls.

Trump needs to run the board r483. He has to win PA, GA and Arizona.

Right now there is no indication he can win PA. Given the amount of ballots left and how they have been breaking to Biden its hard to see how he could.

by Anonymousreply 489November 5, 2020 1:21 AM

R482 they have to verify that the signatures match what was signed on voter registration card

by Anonymousreply 490November 5, 2020 1:21 AM

It may not be as close in these states as we think. Pretty much everything left is mail-in votes. Last night Trump was leading GA by 325,000. Now it’s 40,000 or so.

In some states, mail-ins are 70% Democrat. In the end, Biden may end up winning some of these states by 2-3% or more. That’s hundreds of thousands of votes, and well past the margin of asking for recounts. Trump is going to find himself in the position of having no legal grounds to do anything. If a “close race” is losing by 80,000 votes, that’s not a small enough margin to be able to claim “53 late votes” is going to make a difference.

CNN says Trump is calling Ron DeSantos and yelling at him. Good.

Arizona says they’re done counting in-person Election Day ballots. They’re counting mail-ins now.

by Anonymousreply 491November 5, 2020 1:22 AM

If AZ is still in play why hasn't AP retracted their call?

by Anonymousreply 492November 5, 2020 1:22 AM

r482, I think they have to confirm signatures if it's a mail in ballot.

by Anonymousreply 493November 5, 2020 1:22 AM

Why would he be yelling at Ron DeSantis?

by Anonymousreply 494November 5, 2020 1:22 AM

Why AP called AZ for Biden...
...changing demographics, including a fast-growing Latino population and a boom of new residents — some fleeing the skyrocketing cost of living in neighboring California — have made the state friendlier to Democrats. Many of the gains have been driven by the shifting politics of Maricopa County, which is home to Phoenix and its suburbs. That’s where Biden sealed his victory. Maricopa County accounts for 60% of the state’s vote, and Biden ran up huge margins there.
In 2016, Trump carried the county by 4 percentage points, which helped propel him to a win. But two years later, Democratic Sen. Kyrsten Sinema flipped the seat from Republican control by winning the county by 5 points.

[qute]In 2018, Sinema became the first Democrat in three decades to win a U.S. Senate seat in Arizona. Democrats also won three statewide offices and five of nine congressional seats and made gains in the state legislature that year.
In 2016, voters ousted Republican Joe Arpaio, Maricopa County’s hardline sheriff, who built a national profile on his harsh treatment of immigrants.

R496, apparently he’s complaining that he’s losing. Maybe he thinks of Ron DeSantos as a friendly person that will sympathize with him, since he’s such a crook.

Could also be that he’s been told not to call governors of states that haven’t closed, since he wants to sue them all. And Florida is done.

by Anonymousreply 511November 5, 2020 1:30 AM

They’re trying to finish as much as they can by tomorrow morning.

Both NV and AZ seem to think they may not be 100% done by tomorrow. But maybe enough so they can make a call. If Biden is leading by 40,000 and there’s only 30,000 uncounted left, they’re done.

It's almost all over but the closing dance. My attention is turning to the Senate races. As long as there is outstanding vote to count in NC I'm not writing Cunningham off yet.

Also the margins are narrowing in GA every hour. If Biden prevails or at least comes close to besting Trump by a slim margin, he should take Ossoff with him. The key right now is to get Perdue below 50% to trigger a runoff. Last data showed him sitting at 50.2% so we are VERY CLOSE there. A runoff - much like the other GA race - is a new chance, with Trump out of the way its more winnable imo.

R537, there’s a few from the Tucson area (even bluer than Phoenix), about a thousand from one red county, and about 17,000 from another red county.

But they’re all write ins, so even the ones in the red areas might have a lot of Democratic votes in them. Trump endlessly claimed nobody should do mail in ballots and they were all fraudulent. So a lot of Trumpers went in person and those are counted already.

Somehow, I don't think Trump will ever call Gretchen Whitmer

Biden has won the last 600k ballots counted in Pennsylvania by 50-points, which is much bigger than the 22-point margin he needs the rest of the way out.

People need to understand the numbers in PA, its not looking close.

Conor Lamb just took the lead in his election

by Anonymousreply 548November 5, 2020 1:47 AM

You know Trump has called and screamed at Barrett, Kavanaugh, and maybe Gorsuch that they better be ready to "thank" him for their undeserved seats on SCOTUS.

If only some fed up staffer would record those calls and release them.
I don't know Pennsylvania's schedule but if they keep updating through the night it might be ready to be called by tommorow morning.

Pittsburgh may be done overnight, but they're saying Philly and its 'burbs may take until Friday.

The fact that Trump called up Rupert and demanded he retract Arizona and Murdoch was like "Donald who?" is the best thing that happened this week.
Don't listen to [R522]. The remaining ballots are from Maricopa County Trump has to outperform there (60 to 40).

Pennsylvania's Attorney General, Josh Shapiro, is cute.

by Anonymousreply 555November 5, 2020 1:53 AM

PA AG Shapiro to MSNBC on the vote counting: They are going to continue being counted in accordance with State law. Every time they bring a lawsuit, we've won. They're going to have to stop listening to Rudy Giuliani.

PA is lucky to have the cute Attorney General. He replaced this troll who went to prison for corruption:
In Phoenix, Trump supporters have gathered at the state capitol. The crowd is chanting “Shame on Fox,” after Fox News declared Biden the winner in Arizona. “More votes are being counted tomorrow at Phoenix City Hall, and we need as many patriots to show up and have a presence outside as possible,” said the Tea Party Patriots group organized the event.
The Trump campaign has adopted a self-contradicting stance of calling for officials to stop counting ballots in states the president is in danger of losing, and keep counting in states like Arizona, where Joe Biden’s lead is narrowing as more votes are tallied.

Pennsylvania is the ballgame. If Biden wins it that gives him 273 electoral votes and the keys to the White House. He doesn't need any other states after that.

by Anonymousreply 564November 5, 2020 2:00 AM

R563, it can go either way. But Trump has a chance.

by Anonymousreply 565November 5, 2020 2:01 AM

R563, yes he could still eke out Az. Biden could still eke out all of them that are still counting at this point.
