I suspect that Perry has more money than Bloom, and that neither of us has anything like the fortune we assume.

Bloom was in some huge hits, but played supporting roles in most of them, and I doubt he got a piece of the back end. And he's had long periods of unemployment and probably has an expensive lifestyle. Same for her, modern singers don't make nearly as much money as the big acts of yore, although her TV show probably pays the bills more than adequately.
