The only celebrity who knocked up a rando that I think is happy about it is James Marsden. he knocked up some "model" right after his divorce.

While some random kid by a random model girlfriend isn't really optimal, he at least was prepared because he got experience from his first two children. In cases like Cavill's, were an aspiring,, handsome and young actor who is single on top of that, allegedly got someone random pregnant, it's something else entirely. As you've pointed out, most men wouldn't be happy about that. Because who knows if he would be where he is now with that child? Maybe he would have never gotten the roles he currently has. Child support costs or just simply being known as a guy who already has an unplanned child (tainted) could have altered his career completely.

To this day, I still can't understand managers or even just friends and family of famous male actors or singers who don't tell those famous guys to have a vasectomy. It is a business decision after all and it affects a lot of money and how famous they will become later.

Also regarding that rumor... If he allegedly had to pay for an abortion... why would he have to pay for one at all? Are abortions that expensive? That could sound more like extortion. Kinda like "I only abort, if you give me a certain amount of money". Because in the end, it was still the actresses choice to go to a clinic and pay up to get it done. So I think it's actually weird to frame it as "he paid for an abortion" rather than, "his one night stand aborted".
