Skaneateles is the toniest of all the Finger Lakes. It is basically to Syracuse/Central NY what East Hampton is to New York City. I've been a Lester Holt guy the past couple years, but this thread got me watching DM since his return last week. Verdict: He's just not that likable. I've watched ABC News for years. Since the pandemic, I have been occasionally watching NBC Nightly News to see how they cover a story vs. how ABC covers a story.

I'm shocked to say this, but NBC does the better job. First off, Lester Holt is sincere, warm and caring. I definitely have more trust in what Lester is telling me than I do in what DTM tells me.

Also, I will say that overall, I decided that overall, I get a more complete summary of the day's news from NBC than ABC when I watch NBC Nightly News vs ABC World News Tonight. The NBC reporters seem to get more information into their reports than the ABC reporters do (this isn't a drastic difference, but noticeable in little bits of information the NBC reporters work in their story that ABC often don't).

Also, NBC newscast generally has one or two more stories during its 30 minute national newscast than ABC newcast does it 30 minute national newscast.
