He wears lots of makeup and gaudy, garish looking clothes and he never called himself non-binary or insisted you use they/them pronouns. 90% of the people I see who subscribe to that shit are under the age of 40. You hardly ever see any older non-binary people. So I think it is just the trendy thing for young people to do nowadays. I hope the trend will die down soon and that they'll outgrow it as they get older.

Basic biology says penis-man, vagina, woman. I work with a man who is pretty religious. Not pushy but goes to church every Sunday and raised his kids like that. His wife is uber-religious. He has three daughters one of whom was always a tomboy and decided at the age of 18 to have a sex change. Mama went nuts and disappeared to the ME with a new job, Daddy was supportive. She is a a "he" now but is still unhappy and was suicidal for awhile. She doesn't look like a man at all. Very feminine with fine, delicate bones. He still looks like a girl. The other daughter has decided she's bi. Frankly, I think they are simply rebelling against their mother's strict religiosity.
