People love to hate people that cry sexual assault, why is this? It's a complex thing that is embedded in our culture. Mostly, it's because people who have a feeling they may have committed sexual assault or have been sexually assaulted, and feel nothing about it, see it as a cop out or a plea for attention for some reason. It shows how emotionally unwell we are as a species.

Those who have committed sexual assault are only too eager to throw other people under the bus to deflect attention from themselves. However the latter part is mostly true. Genuine survivors of abuse have little patience for allegations of alleged groping and the like.
