I think Josh Morrow realizes his limits as an actor and knows that he is not going to find a better gig than Y&R. He is not a great actor but he struck gold when he was young, getting the role of Nick and also that brief, cheesy foray into music (3Deep). But he built up a strong fan base that has been loyal.

I think both Josh and Sharon Case realized that Nick and Sharon were going to be the next generation for Y&R and probably realized that they would have long-running roles, which indeed was the case. There was viable security for them.

Personally, I think Case probably could have had a career outside of Y&R. She's beautiful and a strong enough actress that she probably would have gotten a nighttime soap or a supporting role on a CW series. She didn't really try like the Staff did when she left Y&R in the late '90s and got a role on the flop series Pacific Palisades.

I never in a million years thought that Eva Longoria would go onto success. I thought she was a horrible actress when she was on Y&R and when she left the show I thought that was it for her. Boy, was I wrong. You just never know.

They made a ton of odd changes to it... the basic shape of the centre hall, stairs up against the far wall, step down to the living room layout if there but they altered it all considerably. It's a visual allegory for a facelift... looks somewhat like the old gal, if you stare for awhile.

R215 I think one of the big changes in the main room of The Mausoleum are the wooden, double-doors (leading to nowhere), which are now to the left of the fireplace. Those weren't part of the original set. There used to be a wall back there with a Queen Anne secretary desk (photo below). .. btw - I wish they'd found a way to incorporate the twin "bird chairs." They were quite special, imo, and always part of the set since it's debut.

Also, for me, one of the odder alterations when JFP re-did the set was changing the front door to that red thing with a frosted glass window insert. .. Instead of the entrance to a stately mansion, it looks like it belongs on a fancy barn.

In any event, I'm just glad the set is back, because it signals they might be playing more Chancellor soon and NuChance is on the horizon.

Grieving Billy would get involved with Kelly from their group counseling sessions, and the duo would 'begin an affair. But it would eventually turn out that she was actually the delusional driver who hit Delia. The original casting call for the Kelly character said she was a teacher, so more than likely we would have learned she was out on the same road that night from Delia's school where Billy and his daughter had just left the Halloween Party.

But the story got changed due to Miller opting to quit and Muhney getting canned right around the same time. When that happened they quick upgraded Sean Carrigan (Ben/Stitch) to contract, and expanded the Kelly character to being Ben's sister (with them having to hire Cady McClain to replace Watros, who was no longer available to continue in the role). Grimes was superb. Hayden Tank (who we just saw the other day as "Victor Junior' in the flashback) was also quite good. Two other child actors who stood out from the pack were Thomas Dekker, who played one of the "Little Phillips," and Darcy Rose Byrres, who played "Little Abby." Her scenes with Daddy Brad (Don Diamont) were always quite special.

If they wanted to SORAS Faith they should try & get the actress who just wrapped up playing Claire Brady on Days. She is so talented.

In New York, they don't even have a criminal law covering a social host's responsibility in relation to underage drinking. If there was knowledge or intent to get an underage person drunk that leads to injury or death, then a civil lawsuit can be filed. But since our boys supposedly didn't even invite her to the party and didn't actually serve her -- plus she looked 22 AND went on to survive with no problems -- it seems like even a civil lawsuit would be hard sell. .. It sounds like the father made out getting $100K.

Of course, Theo may not be telling the whole story.

Something just doesn't add up in this Theo story. He's definitely acting like there's more to the story than what he told Summer. He's also acting like an unrequited lover.

I'd write it that Zoe was just a little a drunk at the party when she began to wander around and walked into one of the bedrooms where she spied bisexual mahwhore, Theo, and JaBottom making out. Zoe started taking video of the action on her phone and began giggling, as teenage girls tend to do.

At that point, Theo looked up and saw Zoe run off.

In order to retrieve Zoe's phone and delete the footage, Theo told the bartender to keep serving her strong doubles, hoping she'd eventually pass out, so he could get the phone off her.

So in effect, Zoe ended up in the condition she did because of Theo. Plus, this little interlude ruined all of Theo's plans where Kyle and his big trust fund were concerned.

Theo's original plan was to keep getting in deeper with Kyle, then lure him to Vegas one weekend, where he'd pull an Amber Moore -- getting Kyle drunk and marrying him -- so he could become "Mr. Theo Vaderway-Abbott" with access to Kyle's trust fund and social connections.

But once this incident with Zoe happened, Kyle started to pull away and "straighten out" -- eventually dismissing Theo altogether when he opted to return to Genoa City.

That wedding was pathetic. Do these people have any friends? Why didn't Tessa sing?

I don't get the animosity between Celeste and Adrian at the wedding. The writers had them practically reuniting a couple of months ago and Celeste was pressuring Lola to have Adrian walk her down the aisle.

The problem with the remaining shows is that they are afraid to take some bold chances. They are already hemorrhaging viewers. Instead of trying to placate the ones they have left, why not pull a Gloria Monty and just blow it all to hell and go for broke. Just set shit on fire and see what happens. Gloria Monty, Bill Bell, Harding Lemay, Jim Reilly took struggling shows and just took a chance and people watched.

What's the worse that could possibly happen? They lose more viewers? Kyle and Theo's lame ass New York secret should have been modern and provocative. Make people mad. Offend some people. Think outside of the box.

I couldn't disagree more. I think the last few months since JG took over have been awful. I'm so over Adam and everyone talking about Adam.

I much prefer Mal's work. Yes, he wasn't perfect. They put too much on his plate. You can't be the EP and the sole HW in 2019. It's way too much of a burden to carry.

They should've named a new EP and just let Mal be HW. On Mal's YR it was a but more progressive & things actually happened. Plus, the show was more balanced.

Michael Mealor appeared so awkward in the wedding scenes with Lola. He only comes alive in his confrontation scenes with Theo.

Don't get the Adam haters on here, he's been killing it daily.

The Rosales family confrontation scenes with Adrian were so poorly written and the actor playing Adrian was a bad casting choice.

Now that he's served his purpose on B&B, Y&R should cast the kid who plays Douglas as Connor. That kid is a great child actor.

Completely agree about the casting of Papa Rosales. Just one scene, but he was awful. Terrible choice.

Grossman is a good recast. My issue isn't him although it still jars me how young he looks. My issue is that the show has become The Adam Show. He's on 4-5 days a week. Even when he's not in a scene everyone else is talking about him.

I think they’re trying and succeeded at making him the asshole everyone loves to hate. Unlike Hartleys almost heroic portrayal and closer to Muhneys riff on Adam. The show needs a son of a bitch right now. Victor has been neutered and I find it hysterical Jack would give Victor the time of day considering all the shit he’s pulled. The show needs a male or female villain right now. Michelle Stafford has said she wants to play or they will get back to Phyllis the way she was in 1994 when she debuted. I don’t see this happening anytime soon the way things are going right now. Like it or not, most of the scenes are fast forwardable without Adam. Because everyone else seems to be happy or not driving the show. Except for Nick who is wrapped up in the custody fight and Billy but the Delia stuff is snoozeville.

I like it when Adam calls Nicholas his big brother now. I loved Muhney's portrayal, but he's gone and never coming back and this guy does a great job. Are they playing him too much? Maybe. But there is no one else on the show who is as compelling to watch. Name one character that is more interesting than Adam. Kyle is a eunuch. Lola is uninteresting. Summer is fat and uninteresting. Theo would be interesting if he were fucking Phyllis. Abby is boring. Nate is boring. They clearly don't know what to do with Billy. Victoria looks like a hag.

The wedding looked like a Ken doll marrying a Smurf doll.

I thought it was a beautiful wedding . The set was decorated with beautiful flowers. Kyle looked handsome & Lola looked beautiful. More importantly Rey looked fuckable... All the guests looked lovely especially Eva. I normally detest everything the dress Abby in & how they do her hair but she was very pretty for once.
