Of course he woudln't admit to losing sleep over the BAFTA snub. That would make him sound petty. And Richard is too aware of how the PR game works to admit something like that. He knows exactly how to answre. But it seems like he actually cared a lot about not getting nominated. And Rocketman for sure doesn't require him to do promo for an Emmy for a different TV show. Netflix also can't force him to do as much promo as he did. They wouldn't even be able to force him to do the Bodyguard Emmy screenings but of course he would agree to that. Ok so i was just thinking about what B and R have on their slate for the rest of the year. B - well nothing that we know of but that could change! All he has for sure is 13RW promo which probably won't take up more than a few weeks for him at most. Looks Can Kill is done filming. So his summer and fall looks pretty open as of right now. Then we have Richard - after he finishes 1917 (which seemingly will be wrapped up by the end of next week or so??) he's basically done until Eternals starts filming in mid-September. Wow sorry off topic but now I def think 13RW is getting a season 4....the cast of stranger things believes they’re atleast due for TWO more seasons which is unprecedented imo. I guess Netflix is afraid of losing its hit TV shows. I think if 13 Reasons escapes major controversy this season then they will be a shoo in for one more season to wrap everything up. I bet they start filming later this year into the new year.
