As for Madden fans: yes, there were fans who didn’t care for Jenna, Ellie and Laura for a multitude of reasons. Brandon’s not unique in this regard (though you cannot rule out that some dislike Brandon because being with him means RM is not 100% straight). I think of the ones that don’t care for Brandon, it’s not due to Brandon per se but some of his more obsessive fans who jump on anyone that seems the slightest bit indifferent to the guy. Same thing happened with Jenna, some of her fans went OTT and that turned off a segment of RM fans from her. 98% of the time a celebrity is papped on the street randomly it's arranged. Paps don't stalk celebrities, not even A-listers, on the street. Okay so this a short rant/total projection of my own thoughts and feelings on this situation but since I have nothing better to do lmaoo... Brandon's Variety article I think made it clear - to me at least- that he is someone who knows who he is, what he wants and is very unlikely to put up with any bullshit. I also suspect that playing the role of John Reid may have influenced Richard's decisions in how NOT to handle his relationship with Brandon. (There's a scene in the movie in which John informs Elton that Elton needs to find a girlfriend he can date publicly so no one will question his close relationship with Reid.)

B is much less known in UK and can easily fly under radar. People look so different in real life than on the screen. If you're not actively on the look for someone they can easily pass you by. I've been in a party with celebs and not realising who they were in the beginning much less if someone just happened to walk by me.

It is a celeb hotel but that also means a lot of traffic of assistants and other people not celebs so people who aren't big in UK can easily not be noticed.
