I'm bored and stuck in the house, so here's a timeline, for those who don't want to read the whole damn thread:

Richard and Brandon have known each other since at least November 2018 because that's when photos of them surfaced from a party. (R was still dating his girlfriend at the time, though.) I think I read somewhere (maybe here) that they started following each other on Instagram in October.

Sometime around New Year's, Richard and his gf Ellie Bamber break up. At a few social occasions after that, Richard and Brandon appear together. Then in March, a photo surfaces of Richard walking Brandon's dog in LA. And shortly thereafter, an article pops up that says Richard is "crashing" with his "pal" Brandon in LA while Richard looks for work in Hollywood. Except Richard is apparently not looking for work in Hollywood, because he's landed a movie gig in London.

Richard flies back to London to start production on a new movie he's in with Colin Firth and Bumblesnort Cabbagepatch. But on Saturday night, a photo surfaces of him and Brandon sitting together at a play in London, so apparently Brandon has traveled to London with Richard. And now, just a few days later, they're both back in LA, walking down the street with their arms around each other.

A DL poster claims to have seen the two of them together at a restaurant recently, acting all cozy and intimate. DL poster says he assumed they were just another gay couple, but then he recognized Richard.

One of Brandon's friends posted a pic of Brandon and Richard together (not romantic, just hanging out) and commented that Brandon was lucky. Brandon replied back "blessed."

Brandon has a Spotify play list of love songs titled "Richard."

Sometime in February, Brandon's ex, Sam Smith, unfollowed Richard on Instagram. (lololol) And speaking of Instagram, Brandon follows Richard's dad on Instagram, and Richard's dad follows Brandon -- which is notable in that his dad only follows a handful of people, mostly family and close friends.

In the Vogue interview that just came out a week or so ago, Richard is asked point-blank if he's ever questioned his sexuality, and he flatly refuses to answer the question.

Surely it would make more sense to update that timeline? I mean, the NYT exchange alone...

They were broken up in December. It was only reported in January because that's when R&B made their relationship official.

Brandon went back to London with Richard in March for a week or so

Brandon joined Richard in New York for a few days in May, then they flew in to Nice to go on to Monaco together, then after Monaco Brandon returned to New York with him for the Rocketman premiere

Brandon went straight on to London with Richard from New York for a few days until he then went home to the US

Richard returned from filming in England to spend a weekend in LA with Brandon in June

From there Brandon went to on Boston from LA with Richard

Yes, but the timeline should say something like "Richard last liked/commented on Ellie's IG December Nth." Stick to facts.

This relationship is like a made-for tv-movie or a ya book... Will this actor on the rise chose his career or break the barriers with the one he love?

R16 first two unconfirmed. Other than just travelling they also went to: critics choice awards, all about eve play, wallows album party, Rocketman afterparty.

I'm happy that both of them have previously played the straight guy role really well in film/tv. I think it'll help if/when there's photo evidence of them being intimate (ie. kissing, handholding). Or maybe I'm being naive, but idk.. I don't see it hurting their chances of continuing to play those roles.

Scotland isn't what I'd call unconfirmed. The same waitress served Richard and has a pic with Brandon. Maybe ask her to confirm.

R19 Oh, I know the Richard visiting him one is totally not confirmed. That’s why I said maybe. I do not think Brandon had any other reason to be in Scotland for New Years other than Richard however. I mean, fair enough if people want to put it as unconfirmed, but we know he was there and we know Richard was there and I REALLY can’t think of another reason he’d decide to go all that way for New Years, which people typically celebrate with friends or family.

R26 we talked about this in a previous thread. I think it's pretty much safe to say B was there to be with Richard because it's just really weird for him to go there otherwise over NYE. but yes, no photo evidence or confirmed sighting of them /together/.

The dinner report of Richard being in the restaurant was never confirmed when it took place. However Richard definitely was in Scotland for New Years, there are other pics of him there.

r21, the best part in those earlier threads was putting the peices together like an unsolve mystery..

R29 we don't actually know when the girl served Richard at her restaurant. She tweeted about it in Feb but didn't say when it actually was.

There's one photo of Richard there at the end of the year and you can see his dad behind him. He was with his family.

R34 Maybe B flew to Scotland after Christmas/family time and was there for NYE. I'd say that's pretty likely.

R26, the waitress tweeted about Richard in February but the tweet didn't state when she served him - it said "that time..." and read as a throwback post. She never actually posted the pic with Brandon, her friend did.

I was the one who wrote the original timeline, and yes, it needs to be cleaned up and updated. I wrote it the day after the infamous neck grab/caress photos came out, and at the time there was a lot of info that was still fuzzy to me.

There was one picture that, as has been said above, was of Richard and his dad in a pub… another picture was one Richard took with a fan in a pub (I think this was a different day). They were Instagram pics? Nothing that would have anything to do with Brandon. They were just very definitely in Scotland and both around late Dec and early Jan time. I'll see if I can find them properly a little later.

R48 Can we say that pic was definitely from January 3rd though? It could have been from anytime that week. That dude doesn't exactly seem like he posts at the exact time he takes pics. Also if B was there with R, there's no way that group of guys would recognize him lol... but yeah, B was seen at Isle of Skye on the 2nd so they could have gotten to Paisley by the next night if that is indeed when the pic was taken.

I think it's too much of a coincidence that Brandon goes to Scotland over NYE and happens to be in the Isle of Skye, which Richard is known to frequent, and that trip has absolutely nothing to do with Richard.

Here’s the gallery picture with B. I found this all in thread 26 lol. The tweeter is Hallie, but the girl in the pic is Lauren, the same one who served R at the restaurant. The restaurant sighting is a bit tenuous though because we don’t know when it is. I would just take it that B was at the gallery that they were together because why else would be be in Scotland if not to be with R?

R48 Yes richard has posted pics from Isle of Skye a few times before. Here's what I think. Brandon went to the UK after Christmas and met up with Richard and his fam. They took a short trip to Isle of Skye and B took the fan pic on the 2nd. Then they probably went back to Paisley by the 3rd. Or the Paisley pic was from before they went to Isle of Skye.

Given that Brandon was attending an awards show with Richard’s family less than two weeks later and Richard was living with Brandon in LA by February, if not sooner, it’s not unreasonable to think he may have spent time in Scotland with Richard in early January. What other Scotland connections does he have besides Richard?

The only thing that gave me pause (at the time) with the whole Scotland trip was that that’s a long way to travel just to be back in LA by January 5th. Now though, seeing how many times both men have done just that in just these last few weeks, it’s plausible to me that they were together. There is no other reason for B to have been there. The only thing I can’t figure out is the Iceland connection, but I guess we’ll never know.

Seems like it. And it was reported in the press at the beginning of January. Richard was still on vacation with Ellie in November and also visited official events with her. They started pretty fast, they met in Oct/Nov and I believe it was love at first sight and by the end of November start of December they started to be a couple, you don't invite a hookup to spend NYE with you in Scotland, they were already together by that time, in February they were already living together and Richard was walking Charlie and now despite the speculation and Richard career rising they go basically everywhere together.

I know their friend the Michael dude threw/attended multiple Halloween parties al that last week of October plus there were TONS of celeb events happening in early November because of Oscar campaigning so I’m sure they crossed paths either way during that period. I don’t think Ellie and Richard broke up until early December honestly, and then Brandon stopped flirting on different guys’ posts around that same time. I feel like Richard and brandon probably hung out a few times in November while he was promoting bodyguard and then clicked enough to where Richard felt like he could invite him to Scotland for NYE. Brandon is soooooo close with his family, that I just can’t see him abandoning them in Miami for a random dude/regular friend.

I’m embarrassed to admit I followed the whole Richard and Ellie relationship and they were friends first. Part of that Azim/Pixie Lott/Ibiza crew. She was in a movie with Douglas too. I certainly side-eyed the age difference, but I just figured R was immature for his age, each his own, etc. She does seem more mature in interviews; but I don’t think anyone expected them to last and it certainly lasted longer than expected. They were both very busy with work while they were together so it was probably just a fun, extended friends with benefits, if you’re in town and I’m in town type of thing. Their families did meet though and they travelled together a lot, but they never moved in together and now he’s with Brandon, so....

But I also think it's cool that R and B are (mostly) keeping their intimate relationship away from their respective marketing/branding teams. It's a picture of a woman beheading a man. I think the message is pretty clear. It's revenge. And even if you want to look at the deeper meaning of the picture, the tale of Judith, it would make sense. Judith is a beautiful widow who got into the tent of the guy because of his desire for her. He passes out drunk and she beheads him in his sleep before he can destroy her home the next day like he had planned. It's about love/desire and revenge.

As a full blooded man, I am inclined to believe there was indeed some intimacy between both parties. If he broke up with Elli right after, and I believe he did it because of B, it must be because there was already an emotional investment. There are accounts that it's literally determined to show me every freaking picture and comment they like every damn day, and others like B & R where sometimes their activity never shows up for me at all. It's not even just that I follow too many people either, because I have a second smaller account I created years ago to focus on one hobby and basically never ended up using, so when I noticed I was missing Richard and Brandon stuff all the time I resurrected it and followed them on there, thinking that I follow much less on there so I'd be sure to not miss anything. Random Q but I’ve been wondering what others think. In the pic at Chateau Marmont, is it assumed that R was sitting across B’s lap? I feel like it makes the most sense with the way they’re positioned in the photo.. it makes me giggle because he’s generally considered to be very manly so it’s cute to see him as the “little spoon” in a way.

People assume they're together because they've been active on IG at pretty much the exact same times in the last few hours. But again, we don't know.

The guy said "I think he was alone", I think he didn't want to say that he was with Brandon, after he replied to that tweet about them he deleted everything and said it's better if we respect Richard's privacy! And their ig activity seems to indicate that they are together in Europe maybe with Richard's parents.

Yeah, I'm not sure they are together in Europe, although it seems logical. But then the guy said R was probably alone. I wouldn't be surprised either way.

More specifically, it’s because Brandon went offline about 5 minutes before the flight left and wasn’t back on until about a minute after the plane landed.

Here’s the thing - so far, B and R haven’t really tried to “fool” people with where they are or when they go places. Maybe at some point it’ll change, but for now, their online activity is pretty telling and consistent.

I have to admit, I don’t get why people think Brandon going to Boston would be dumb if he wasn’t going on somewhere else with him after. I understand the thinking behind why people think he has gone with Richard, but to me it would make equal sense for him to go to Boston and have that little bit of time with Richard if he was NOT traveling abroad with him afterwards, so I guess I just don’t take him having gone to Boston as meaning anything either way.

Also, I wouldn’t hold my breath for an ig story telling us if he has gone with Richard, either. Don’t get me wrong, I’d LOVE it, but he didn’t post anything from Scotland in Jan or either time he’s been in London with him either. OR Monaco! The only pattern I can make of the two relationships is that both seemed pretty secure/strong/let’s travel around together and meet the parents and combine friends during the first six months. But can you make a pattern out of two? I don’t think we should compare either.

I imagine R&B have more in common than R&E. The age difference with E threw me. I don’t think she was a beard (I hate that shit) but what does a 20 year old girl have in common with a 30 year old man? Sure, they’re both actors from the UK but to me it seems like they just enjoyed partying together and not being at all domestic. Age differences matter less as you get older, but at 20 you barely know who you are and it’s hard to find the patience to watch someone taking their time growing up when you’ve already been through it. 25 isn’t so different from 32 but being in your teens and dating someone a decade older is like a whole different universe.

They did have a lot of friends in common though.
