Richard's birthday on the 18th.. Do you think Brandon might wish him a public happy birthday? Brandon's birthday is October 11th, which was obviously before them following eachother and meeting in November, so we haven't had a time during the course of their serious relationship that they could've wished eachother happy birthday. if he does do it I'd predict on an Instagram story or something. Will be interesting. He could just do it as a vague one so it just looks like he's saying happy birthday to his friend/roommate/constant companion.

I don't know if it's ever been confirmed why S & B broke up but if distance and work obligations were the true reason it seems like B has learned a lesson and not only is B putting in effort but so is R. I know some here think B is following R around like a puppy but this is how you survive a relationship. You put in the time and effort if you want the relationship to go the distance.

I think he’s done more travelling a) because he has more freedom to do so, since he’s not working right now, and b) because Richard has invited him to go to these places WITH him. None of those were trips he could have followed him on without an invite, Richard obviously wanted him there! R97 I actually think they're quite similar in some ways and different in others. They're both very silly and adorable when it's appropriate to be. But then where Brandon seems very open and long winded but direct, Richard can be more closed off and he definitely keeps his cards closer to his chest. Especially in interviews. He'll be talking about something and give little pebbles of information, but when he's done he didn't really say too much. I think he likes it that way.

Richard seems quite shy at times which I don't think Brandon is at all. I imagine they're both loads of fun and silly together. They seem like a good match

I’ve always noticed it in some of his interviews but maaaan did he seem pretty shy and nervous at times during the actors on actors discussion with Amy Adams. I don’t know if he just can’t take compliments well (since she kept calling him brilliant) but he would do this like anxious breathe in every now and then when speaking to her. It’s really cute because he doesn’t give off the impression of someone who is insecure or more reserved, but it’s definitely there. I could def see him wanting to be with someone like Brandon who is the life of the party, so that he could just disappear into the back of the room at friend gatherings and stuff lol

r107 People who are friends with Richard say he's usually super social and the life of the party. I think with interviews and stuff his anxiety seems to kick in and he gets super reserved and shy. So they're probably a pretty good match socially.

R107 Yeah, Richard himself has said he was extremely shy as a child and it’s still something he struggles with (albeit to a lesser degree, I’m assuming.) Speaking from personal experience, that’s a personality trait that’s difficult to grow out of, even as you become a more confident adult.

I have to admit I had not yet seen Brandon acting in anything, so I'm only now just starting to know a little about him and while SM is a very shallow way to get to know a celeb, I have to admit I'm impressed by that musical choice... Song and cover artist. And having scrolled through his account was a nice little ride, he's def a cutie. It's nice to know that they're both a catch in more than just the looks department.

I ended up binging some RM interviews earlier today as I didn't see many before (I got only caught up in these R&B threads because it's an interesting and rare situation to watch, but they make a cute even if unlikely couple as I knew them both before and watched some of their shows, never have it crossed my mind that they might become friends or even more) and I'm actually surprised about how insecure and shy he comes across even though I read it here before.

I mean, he's quite charming and he seems sweet and genuine. But take a notice of his body language and gestures. In many of those interviews, he has his legs and arms crossed which is a protective gesture. He also often touches his face including his mouth (the mouth guard gesture) which is typically interpreted as a non verbal sympthome of lying but I would think of it more as if he's subconsciously trying to hide.

That screams to me that he doesn't like being the center of attention, more so the unwelcomed one, which for me totally discredits the queerbaiting conspiracy theory some fools on various social media come up with - total bull. He wouldn't pull himself through this for any role, not even a marvel one, and he totally wouldn't do that just to promote a movie, I'm certain of it.

It's also noteworthy that in some interviews he seems more comfortable than in others. He seems particularly more chill when he's with some friend who takes a bit of the attention off him - e.g. those with Lilly seem great or with Idris Elba. I guess it also depends on whether he knows the interviewer or not. When he's laughing, it's almost a win.

That's just a scratch on the surface but it's long enough already. Maybe slightly OT but I felt like sharing. Seems better than the endless discussions on the same old topics.

Yes. I think he's not comfortable with the bit of promo when has to do interviews. you can tell hes quite nervous and shy. I saw it a lot when he was doing interviews on US television. I think he's social when he's around friends because he can be himself but having the world see you can be scary to a lot of people.

I was listening to Richard and Amy talk about how they learn stuff about themselves from each role they do, and I definitely don’t think it’s a coincidence that brandon is his first serious boyfriend after doing a movie like Rocketman. Something about that experience probably unlocked something within him. I’m so thrilled for them! The hour long con interview is interesting. It has a studio audience but they're all nerds, whose questions are unsurprisingly focused on his work. And the panel wasn't recorded for traditional broadcast. It's chaired by a friend, the lead guy from "Chuck" (and Matt Smith and Jenna Coleman join), which no doubt makes a difference. Also, he seems to have had a pint or two, so there's no nerviness.

I agree, it is a fine line between stalking and wanting a confirmation on the relationship because we are so over the moon by them dating. I think some people on here act like this kind of fan activity is reserved for Richard and Brandon alone. It’s really, really not. They photoshop Irina Shayk out of pictures with Bradley and their daughter and put pictures of Gaga over her face on Instagram. It’s so goddamn creepy. And beyond that, I’ve seen at least 2 posts actually expressing the wish that Irina would DIE so Bradley could be free of her. Of course, that was before the split announcement, but still. R518 1. Noone even knows if that even was their hotel. The twitter only said that Brandon was visiting a party at that hotel while Richard was at his event. And why would they stay in Boston after Richard was finished with his event? If they had wanted to go sightseeing in Boston they would have for sure done it before the convention. Richard would have directly flown to Boston from London without doing the stop in LA. That would have been much easier. It doesn't seem like they were interested in staying in Boston longer than needed.

And I agree. The troll that posted several comments about a sighting of them in London also posted replies that called his own posts out for being creepy and stalking. Clearly trying to just disrupt this thread and make up drama.

I’m glad Brandon has someone like Richard tbh. He seems happier now and that’s all I care about :) I know most of DL wasn’t privy to Brandon before this but as a fan he did have times when he looked really down last year and fan spottings of him crying (like the one where he broke down and his dad was with him and had to console him) so to see him happy again is great. I never thought in a million years these two would even be friends lmao and look where we are :)

I mean, I don’t NEED to have been right about all of this stuff, it’s not about that for me, but I don’t think it’s crazy to look at the overall picture with these two and think it really does add up to them being together, so I did find it unsettling to be talked about as though anyone thinking the idea was nuts. The reassurance is much appreciated!

I didn't even follow the Pace/Armitage threads. But when I saw a report that their friend posted innocuous ski pics of them and then deleted the pic very quickly... well, there's no doubt in my mind that they were a couple.
