Some nights after crushing a box of lucky charms I told myself that this was just the journey of getting older. I was never going to be fit again, so why continue this pattern starving & binging, of quietly throwing up in the kitchen sink after my roommates fell asleep & trying to slap some willpower into me. I gave up 100 times during those 3 years. I tried again 101 times. I can’t point to a specific moment that was a turning point. Rather I believe it was the gradual process of learning from each failure. Instead of clinging to a fad diet I began to critically examine my relationship to food. I realized that my crappy eating habits were tied to negative emotional states. When I learned to recognize & deal with those emotions, I saw food for what it really is: a tool, not a bandaid. This was not a smooth journey. Just last Sunday I ate a family size pack of Oreos bc I was upset about GoT. But after each step backward I manage to forgive myself and take 2 steps forward. The picture on the right is me yesterday. I now weigh 160 lbs & have 12% body fat, reaching a goal that I wrote on my bathroom mirror 3 years ago. I’m not ashamed of the person on the left anymore, but damn am I proud of the man on the right.

Once again a lot mentions of Tumor Will today. Let's start with his two grandmas, Marlena and Kate, talking about Tumor Will's impending doom. Meanwhile, Xander and Sarah bargain over Rolf's life-saving diary.

Marlena mentions Paul!!!!! who's devastated (also, told ya so!) at Tumor Will's impending doom... Lumi are coming back, but apparently not together. But first thing first in the face of death, wedding plans!

It is actually a silly excuse to write Drake out for a few episodes, likely to give him time off during the California wildfires that were threatening his home last November. It doesn't make sense storyline wise, since John just told Marlena he would be by her side. It would make more sense if he was going after Dr. Rolf or the dairy.

Kate & Vic bond over their love of drinks! Meanwhile Saint Xander offers Drunk Maggie the miraculous Dr. Wilhelm Rolf's Diary, "the key to saving your beloved [Tumor] Will!"

Kate's idea of preparing for the wedding is having a drink or ten with Vic! She will wake up tomorrow having done nothing about the wedding... actually she'll realize what is there to do for the wedding since it will just take place on Tumor Will's deathbed.

I laughed at Paul's devastation. It was so bad he couldn't pick up a phone.

Is it odd that Lucas and Sami will be traveling apart and arriving separately? Lucas was supposed to be with Allie, and l assume Allie lives with Sami.

I liked the solo Chambo scenes. Not perfect...but good.

I wish the director would not rush takes. The one take, straight to tape of back-to-back-to-back (out of sequence) scenes in the span of an hour, sometimes with no rehearsal, is...not ideal. Honestly I don't see how the current taping schedule saves on budget.

I think they overused the ghostly effect of a glaring spotlight on dim set. It made it hard to even see Chambo's expressions in those scenes, and he had to carry the scenes with just his reactions alone.

I thought the special effects were fine. It was my favorite scene in the episode. That and Roman/Kayla.

(Probably part-time, because working at Days, he's gotten used to "dark weeks" where he can sit around, do nothing, and goof off.)

FCF can be one of those infomercial pitchmen trying to sell you something that they will send you two of, if you call right now. Mrs. FCF can smile, second everything he says, and help demonstrate the product.

I've just seen his movie 'Aquarians'. He plays a young priest on it lol. During one scene he is half naked and has a short 'sexual' scene with a local female bimbo in which he is as unconvincing and uncomfortable as he was in his scenes with Gabi on DOOL, while during the entire film he seems to have a boner for the guy who plays his drug addicted brother. Ridiculous and unintentionally funny.
