Sandy Dennis is dead. Someone probably confused the names.

Sandy Duncan is 73 and living in New York City.

Please define "alive".

Just a couple of minutes ago I was watching a YouTube clip of a 1970s Dean Martin roast of Sammy Davis Jr.
Foster Brooks referred to Sammy Davis Jr as Sandy Duncan Jr.

Does Sandy get a lifetime supply of Wheat Thins? And can she sub Triscuits, with all their new flavors? Asking for Jason Bateman.

Sandy became a grandmother for the first time last year. She has two sons, one straight and one gay, just the way the lord intended it to be.

How does one tell?

SANDY is alive. Her EYE is dead.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 5, 2020 8:37 PM |
It's just an urban legend that she choked to death on a Wheat Thin.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 5, 2020 8:38 PM |
I just wonder if she sees eye to eye with her gay son.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 5, 2020 8:47 PM |
She's alive. Her career is dead.

Valerie Harper is DEAD!
I'm alive! Sandy the Cat is ALIVE!!!

She's alive! But Val Harper is Dead!
Dead, dead, dead!

One of my favorite Foster Brooks' lines is from a Dean Martin roast of Sammy Davis, and Brooks called him Sandy Duncan Jr.

R18, I coughed up a long laughing. Omg, I'm still recovering.

Cute interview that Sandy did with Dick Cavett, discussing her eye debacle. She definitely seemed to be flirting with Dicky...turns out she'd just gotten divorced around the time of this interview.

Where is this thread?

She received rave reviews as a replacement Roxie in the Broadway revival of Chicago but four weeks into her run she broke her foot. NEXT!
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 11, 2020 4:29 PM |
Her husband Don Correia was sex on a stick back in his Broadway heyday. I saw him as a replacement in the original Chorus Line, she and he replaced Twiggy and Tommy Tune in My One and Only, he starred in the Gene Kelly role in Twyla Thorpe's Broadway version of Singing in the Rain, etc. He was in the last two revivals of Follies! Always loved me some Don Correia.
She was a sensational Peter Pan. I saw that production three times and she always brought down the house. Trivia: she was the first Peter Pan to actually fly out over the audience. Minor personal trivia: Christopher Hewett replaced George Rose as Captain Hook in that production and Hewett was infinitely better.

by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 11, 2020 4:52 PM |
She was the best Peter Pan ever!

I remember when Daphne was her stand-in (the Scooby Doo Movies had a wide variety of guest stars).

Here's Dick and Sandy in 1979, when she's appearing on Broadway as Peter Pan.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 11, 2020 5:42 PM |
She was fired from her last Broadway show because she has dementia and couldn't remember her lines.

I did NOT exit due to memory loss. I exited because his bitchy wife was mean to me.

She is alive because I just ate her out last week.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 11, 2020 7:18 PM |
Maybe God have her real wings or some crap like that!
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 11, 2020 7:33 PM |
r38 Elaine Joyce was doing Simon's bidding when she told Mary to learn her lines -- or else.

She’s fine. She sends her love.
I, on the other hand.....
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 11, 2020 7:49 PM |
Don was Sandy's THIRD husband. She was starting to get into Elizabeth Taylor territory there.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 11, 2020 7:50 PM |
Is this original Sandy Duncan or replacement Sandy Duncan? I don't think we will ever really know the answer to this question.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 11, 2020 7:53 PM |
Don and Sandy have been married since 1980. Sounds like a lasting arrangement to me. And Don as an elder was still sex on a stick.
