Sorry, messed up the quote tag.
[quote]But spool back a little further, to the days when she was just another rising American starlet, and Meghan can be found fishing in the shallower end of the showbiz pond. Indeed, not long before she was introduced to her Prince, you could find her cosying up to a male model on the red carpet, flirting on social media with a former X Factor winner and deliberating whether to go on a date with footballer Ashley Cole. Of course, hanging out with D-listers was never really going to be the right fit for ambitious and sophisticated Meghan Markle.

This Sun article reinforces some of the comments in the DM article almost as if this was some kind of coordinated effort...
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 25, 2019 1:12 AM |
Oh dear the Sun is after her now, this won't be good for MM but on the bright side it's brilliant for us
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 25, 2019 1:16 AM |
The Sun has been very, very, very annoyed with her since she (or her team) told them she had a home birth and told the DM she gave birth in Portland Hospital. The Sun had already printed the sunday edition, they had to stop the presses and tried to recall the stuff already in the vans. They only managed to get half of them back. She made them look a fool more than once with the whole baby debacle and cost them a hell of a lot of money. They will not forget or forgive this.

Safe to say, Meghan reads those mean articles. What's her reaction? Fan fiction time.
[Meg lounges on a plush white sofa at Frogmore while the nurse looks after the baby. She's scrolling elegantly on her phone.]
M: Oh! Tsk. Fucking Mail, with those stories again. And the Sun? Ugh! It's such bullshit. Fucking Lizzie Cunty, what a bitch, I hardly even knew her. And fucking Piers, such a liar.
[Harry bounds in, fresh from one of his charity outings.]
H: Hell-o, darling. How's my sexy girl, and where's that wonderful boy? [He tries to embrace Meg, who pushes him away.]. What is it, darling? Oh. The tabs again. [Sighs.] Bastards.
M: It's all fucking lies. I'm so over it.
H: It's outrageous. Right. Perhaps it's time for us to say something about this harassment.
M: I really think we should. In fact, I've drafted something. I'll text it to you.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 25, 2019 1:29 AM |
The DM loves Fuckface von Clownstick and Brexit and all that right wing lunacy. It's no wonder they're letting the dogs loose on Markle and not before time. The American traitor and his entire grifter family are coming to the UK to impose on Her Majesty the first week of June. Seriously, he's bringing all of them. So gross. So inappropriate. So fucking typical of him.
We apologize in advance for the horror show of trash, lies and crassness that we are about to drop on the Queen and the British Royals. We know they can handle it, we feel bad anyway.
I have something new to hate about Markle. I have to fucking DEFEND her bailing on this shitshow because the fucktard traitor fake president is so much fucking worse than she is by any rational person's measure.
Cunts. Both of them are cunts, he's the greater of two evils.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 25, 2019 1:35 AM |
This is beginning to get good.. As they say, once quotes are attributed publicly then it's easier for others to follow and start spilling beans. I find it funny that small time, desperate D-lister Meghan never thought about hiding her social climbing ways back then. However, I doubt that even she had expected to land Harry and that he'd be so easy to con. If she had thought about it then and had more $$$, she'd hire legal representation to have people around her sign NDAs. Hilarious that only months after she met Harry and ensnared him, she'd smartened up and went after her former manager with lawyers for the sin of asking for right to use her photo at charity event. Again, you can't make this shit up, this is a woman who's as ruthless as they come, and if you think she didn't step on some toes on her way up the social climbing ladder, then you must be as dim as Harry.
Harry even if he now knows about Meghan's behavior leading up to their relationship, he's going to act as her protector because he's still in the denial stage. I've know enough male clients in similar situation, I see them in the aftermath and they all follow similar trajectory upon finding out the women they married were liars or con artists out for money. Men don't usually want to admit that they made such a monumental mistake, they don't like to admit to being conned. The lucky ones leave eventually after buildup of dysfunction, the unlucky ones stay longer due to having kids with grifting women.

R8 You believe that MM bailed? Ha! I think she wasn't invited and had to put out there that she couldn't go. It's like Frogmore C, had to put out there how much they love it and chose it. When everyone knows the Queen has access to many other properties that they could have used. There is no way that pair of grifters would have willingly chose former servants quarters.
I quite like the Harry Markle blog, the blogger raises some interesting questions in their latest article.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 25, 2019 1:39 AM |
R11, back in November 2018, this ran in the Observer: “Prince Harry and Markle have been spending plenty of time in the Cotswolds, as they reportedly signed a two-year lease for a mansion, WestfieldLarge, located on the 4,000-acre Great Tew Estate in Oxfordshire earlier this year. But that’s only temporary, as they are apparently refurbishing a much larger place nearby. Their future six-bedroom home, known as Beggars Lodge (oh, the irony), will contain three reception rooms, staff rooms, media and family rooms and all the other fancy amenities fit for royalty, including Charles & Co. designs.”
And
“Now that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child, perhaps they’ll be given a country home at Sandringham as well. They are, after all, about to be neighbors with Prince William and Middleton at Kensington Palace.”

[quote] Oh, I beg to differ: in Real Britain, as opposed to just this little corner of the web, he's still the next but one King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with all the wealth and influence and status that indicates. His Papa is worth $400 million and he will be the heir to some of the richest landholdings, art collection, and social status in the world. Britian's PM will be meeting with him once a week, just as Theresa May has been with his Gran. If you think that stuff doesn't count in Alpha World, think again.
To those posters on the previous thread arguing that William's wealth and direct line to the throne make him an alpha, by that argument Charles is also an alpha. Eek!

No need to engage the cretin @ R16. This pithy frau will go on and on and on and on... that Will looks 50/old for 36 and Harry served in the army which (in her stantastic mind) makes *him* the "alpha." That Catherine looks old too and is so much worse in every way than Markle; besides Markle is oh so slim and pretty.
I dismiss the creature when she posts as she apparently doesn't have a social life thus you'll find she will attempt to monopolize the thread by talking to herself.

What's Harry going to do in Africa, torture more elephants before taking photos of them? Going on big game hunts and covering them up by saying they're conservation outings? This is nothing more than public funds paying for a narcissist and her dumb husband and their poor infant son, all laying about in exotic African locales, living in luxury all the while portraying themselves as humanitarians. If I was living in one of the African nations being considered as candidates in need of Royal rescue, I'd be offended as fuck at that suggestion.

Meghan will last in the BRF. If Kate can slut it up as a yacht girl (notice how they ignored that link though it comes from the bastion of truth, the DM), then Meghan is amongst her equals.
Just admit it: you guys can't understand why a Prince married MM while you're online praying for a woman's downfall. What a fucking pathetic, hypocritical bunch. And some even go further to wish harm on an innocent child based on their parentage and, according to their own words, is better than them.
They still can't justify their hate for Meghan but most know the real reason...it's always the same ones.
To the poster that's near Frogmore Cottage and plans to stalk the grounds to get a snap...what happened? The house was empty? Security was too tight? You're now besties with HRH? Or did you lie to get brownie points from a group of menopausal bitches that mock sleek musculatures because they don't realize that 'pins' isn't a pejorative and not everyone is built like a Mack truck?
Don't expect an answer as it's likely the same two or three posters filling up various threads with their MM venom but really...their dedication impresses. I can't imagine hating a stranger so much that I write half of what has been written.

She doesn't have to like these people, she probably can't stand Trump just like she couldn't stand the others but that's what the Royals have to do, be polite on the surface and remain neutral.
Trump is an idiot but he's your idiot not ours, we have our own, he will be here for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy and the trade opportunities for the UK with the USA post Brexit. The anniversary is very important to the Queen.

R36 Honey please take time out from reading and posting here, honestly you seem to have taken things too personally, I doubt the Sussexes give a fuck about their fans who defend them on forums such as this one. As for wishing harm on their baby, again, I think YOU are the one who's projecting such unimagined hatred. Have you been reading what Meghan's fans are wishing on the Cambridges, particularly the children so that Harry can be king instead of William? No one here is wishing harm on people, least of all children, only the truly pathological ones such as yourself are even imagining such things.

R45, no comment on Kate slutting it up on yachts? There's a difference between gossip and outright vitriol. You and your coven are jealous cunts. Just deal with it.
I think both royal duchesses attained their positions by successfully sucking and fucking their way to their current positions. Both have had plastic surgery. Both have unsavory connections. Both played the game and won. It's the way things have been for years, so what differentiates the two women? No one's given an answer.
Talk that shit and back it up. It's very easy to throw out the basement dweller and 'don't take it personal' attacks but, as you said, that's projection. Not only do you type fat but your ugly spirit shines through. If only Alpha William and Saint Kate of the Yacht would share some of their grace with you.
And, yes...nasty comments have been made about an innocent child just as your Legion of Lunatics have conjured up one of your many fantasies where Harry wishes the death of his niece and nephews just to become king and his son an heir (even though he and the wife avoided providing their son with even one regnal name...should have been a clue they're not interested). Just one of many sick stories you nuts make up.

We are all STILL here gossiping about Miss Megs and any other dimwitted royal who makes an ass of themselves (and there is no shortage of those). As we've been here for months, and will be here for many more.
Take your demands for "answers" and shove them, and take them back to your therapist's office. We don't answer to anyone here nor do we have to....and what is this fuckery you are going on about re Kate and yachts? That is beyond laughable - Kate is way too BORING to ever have participated in Euro yacht girl antics. She also has never had the need, given she's been tied to William's teat since college and her spoiling parents made sure she never went without a posho lifestyle before her marriage.

R47 likely is in need of mental health support, I'm being serious. She sounds unwell from the way she writes, it's deeply accusatory without any basis for her vitriol, all the while projecting this vitriol onto others. I'd say it's persecutory delusions by proxy in her case, and I'd kindly refer her to mental health support services if I were her psych provider. Wouldn't take her on as my patient right now, I've got a limit to number of personality or schizotypal disorder patients at any given time, they can be very draining and we can't just prescribe meds because there are no meds to treat them.

R47, you're taking this awfully seriously. If you identify so strongly with Meghan, it'd probably be better for your mental health to stay off a gossip site that likes to drag her.
As to what differentiates Kate and Meghan (and why I'm here): Meghan provides a lot of entertainment. Kate is social climber who got what she wanted and settled down into a life of wearing ladylike outfits and providing heirs. Nothing to see there until the kids are old enough for shenanigans. Meghan is a social climber who'd have us believe her only criteria for Harry was that he was kind and that all she wants to do is save the world. The newly cultivated A-list friends instead of family at her wedding, the clickbaity instagram posts, the banana messaging, the limousine humanitarianism .... it's all great fun.

R52 I did not initiate use of the term alpha. Posters on previous threads have begun using it to describe William. I responded to their use.
IMO cuck as an insult has latent homophobic qualities and the cuckolding fetish has a strong racist component. AFAIK using cuck and soyboy as insults is linked to ultra conservatives and the alt-right's anxiety about the declining dominance of heterosexual white males. I had not associated "alpha male" with that same sentiment but I can see how it could be connected. I've called out posters for using cuck on these threads and I've never seen soyboy used here.

Extract from The Mail's expose of Kate's yachting and social climbing:
The corporate clients loved her, especially the way she always seemed to be showing off her slender legs in tight blue shorts as she served gin and tonics and lunch. She was working as a deckhand on 72ft sailing boats in the Solent, looking after important clients for mighty companies such as Barclays, BT, Nokia, Toshiba and Volkswagen.
This was Catherine Middleton at 19, doing her first - and some might waspishly say her only - real job.
Her boss during these three months of her gap year between leaving fee-paying Marlborough College and going up to St Andrews University was former round-the-world yachtsman Sir Chay Blyth.
‘Most of the talk about her concerned her very tight shorts,’ chortles Sir Chay, 70, who ran the Southampton-based hospitality business.
‘She was an attractive girl who never allowed herself to be distracted by the comments and got on with her job. We had other girls, mainly students, working as corporate crew members and some of them were a pain in the a*** complaining about this and that. But Kate was not one of them.’
‘There were all kinds of shenanigans among the girls who came down to work on corporate hospitality days, a lot of going out and drinking.
‘On the boat, it was a case of: “Kate, please scrub the floors” - but sometimes it was: “Kate, would you mind not standing by that hatch when you are serving because it’s a bit revealing for anyone below deck.”
Now, someone please find me the equivalent of this for MM. Name of yacht, employer, clients. Interview with employer.

The article also states "The trip is being seen as a possible prelude to a much longer stay in Africa, of several months, next year.", r75. Perhaps they're only going for a few trips here and there. But given the Times article earlier this year that specifically names BP sources, among them Geidt, this seems to confirm that they are indeed being sidelined. At the very least, the BRF want the Harkles out of their hair so that they can get on with succession planning. It would probably be a bonus to them if this pushed MM to leave. Try as she might, she won't get the 'clicks' she so desperately wants in Africa. Her target audience lauds her 'humanitarian' efforts, but they don't really want to read about them. They want weddings and tiaras just like the rest of us.

I don’t see how working as a deckhand in tight shorts means she was having sex for money with passengers/guests. Was she?
And I don’t know that Meghan was having sex for money with any yacht-goers, either. I don’t hang out on MM’s social media, but I don’t recall seeing any photos of her on any boats.
I think her milieu was SoHo House, not yachts. Different circle, no? And the foray into England wasn’t at the yacht level. Reality TV and athletes? Not exactly Branson and Murdoch.

Someone on here is trying very hard to deflect from Meghan's questionable behavior in the past ("rumors" of yachting; ghosting people; over-the-top ostentatious spending; cutthroat ambition and shameless hustling etc...) with a story about Kate's waitress job on a boat. Someone is very desperate. If you can't see by now HOW different these two women are, you are deluding yourself. Try again and TRY HARDER.

Charles Spencer doesn't have access to Diana's wedding dress anymore, now that her sons are adults. I suppose he has to market something associated with her to keep visitors coming to Althorp. What a giant white elephant that place must be.

Kate was slutting around as a teenage deckhand, fucking corporate clients and trying to get ahead. She then shacked up with William and lived off the public's money for 8 years. No job in all that time.
Meghan entered a highly competitive profession and managed to get tenure on a popular TV show for seven years. A huge achievement compared to Saint Kate of the Yacht, as another poster aptly dubbed her.

R97 - As she's formally on maternity leave, I doubt it was felt she needed an invitation, and if she weren't, they'd have sent her off to a sudden visit to Morocco for the three days "at the government's request". They won't risk her very low dramatic skills being equal to doing what the royals frequently have to do (as posters above have pointed out): serving the strategic goals of the government and Britain by shaking hands with and smiling and making small talk at people who, e.g., carry out 200+ executions annually, most by the sword - and who also happen to be starving a few million people to death in Yemem in a proxy war with Iran in that tragic country (the Saudis, with whose royal family Charles is particularly friendly), corrupt African leaders too numerous to count, oligarchs of every stripe . . .
It's part of the job and as loathsome as Mr Trump is in many way, he's still an amateur compared to the Assads in Syria, Putin, Idi Amin, the Saudis, etc., etc., etc.
You don't get to parade your political views in the BRF - a lesson from which Meghan assumes she is exempt.
The UK governnment invited Trump, not the Palace. The Palace is required to fulfill its job as Head of State and welcome the another Head of State appropirately, and doesn't have the authority or power to say, "No, thanks, mates, you take him out to dinner - try Le Gavroche just off Knightsbridge - it's very cosy, he'll love it."
That's the job - great bennies, though: taxpayer renovated housing, an apparently limitless wardobe budget, luxury paid travel, and lots of magazine covers.

The original story per Sir Geidt informed about the Harkles' going to "Africa" for an extended time. Immediately, Harkle PR started to spin it, mangle it and deny it. I don't need a "new" announcement to believe there has been a huge shift in the upcoming Life of Harkle. If they are unable to adjust they can certainly go to America, or wherever, if that suits them.

It doesn't come off in interviews and set-up situations, but Prince Charles is actually very charismatic and charming.
I'm not saying that I'm an expert in these things, but I have met him 3x (charity work), and he comes across as very knowledgeable and engaged, with a lively curiosity.
And, damn me for saying it, Camilla is actually a delightful lady.
Prince Philip was extremely funny with a knack of putting people at ease (The Princess Royal is the same)
HMQ - was in a line-up to meet her, and was so nervous I nearly passed out.
And, yes, I am fully aware that I don't know these people, but I was a very small (but quite important) cog in these charity machines. And I'm also not a monarchist but think that when HMQ dies, something special (ik: MARY!) will disappear from my life.

I’m fascinated with how Meghan landed the prince. I imagine once she had penetrated certain circles, it was easy enough to look at Harry and go, “Why not? All I need is a shot.” From there it took the most artful of seduction techniques, and nerves of steel. I say this with admiration.

R112 - I haven't gotten near as you have but I've always thought Camilla looked like the kind of woman it would be great to have a few pints with. She looks as if she doesn't take herself too seriously, and that wasn't something that could have been said about Diana.
I was a young man during the brief Kennedy ascendancy, but American friends of similar age who went to a political function with JFK in New York City said when he walked into a room, the place lit up, and that photographs didn't do justice to his charisma, and he was quite a bit more photogenic than the Prince of Wales. Years later, people had similar views on Bill Clinton, who had all the warmth and charisma his wife lacked.
Diana's charisma was based on youth and beauty and the whole fairy-tale archetype. Charles, still geek-ish at 32, hadn't a chance against his beautiful young leggy blonde wife. Now, he looks distinguished rather than geeky, and got the jolly, comfortable wife who isn't competing with him for air in the room.

R125 - The Harkles could have followers on Saturn, it wouldn't matter. Nor do the popularity polls, although it bears repeating that she still comes out behind Wills and Kate in those, and in a more recent one, she out far behind them.
The long game goes, as it always has and always will, to the Cambridges - it's a hereditary monarchy and no amount of social media "followers" (most of whom aren't in the UK) will change the fact that in less than ten years, Meghan will be a middle-aged bore still trying to impress the world with her wokeness, whilst William and Kate will be Prince and Princess of Wales, the focus will be increasingly on their attractive growing brood, and no one will give fuck-all about Meghan pretentious twaddle.
That is, if she's still around. My own view is that once she's got two insurance policies with the BRF, she'll be off to build her Brand Meghan Empire.
Much to the relief of the BRF.

R94 very well said! Makes me wonder is the whole MM alleged yachting background gaining some sort of traction in the media. It would seem every time there is a negative story about to break, her megastans come on here or the DM and preemptively go on the attack with Kate, this time accusing her of a "yachting" background. They always seem to project stuff on to Kate because MM is pathologically jealous of her.
Here's the thing Kate is from and very wealthy family, who were probably wealthier back then. She had no reason to prostitute herself for money, the Middletons had plenty to go around. Secondly she's not a whore, she's way to prissy and uptight to be one.

R149 Oh can we move off the yachting stuff? There's plenty of evidence that Meghan Markle was on the hunt for a rich famous British hubby and spent most of her energies in her twenties and thirties using her considerable talent for self-promotion in the pursuit of fame. The nonsense about yachting, surrogates, fake pregnancies, lifelike baby dolls is, most of us agree, the product of obsessed disordered minds.
R150 is spot on - there's enough visible evience that Meghan Markle has no interest in doing the job you are expected to assume on marrying in at this level, i.e., representing the British monarchy and Great Britain, but rather, representing herself and using the BRF as a platform to serve her personal agenda, without subscribing to lunatic theories that many of us who criticise her have repeatedly challenged.
by Anonymous | reply 153 | May 25, 2019 3:22 PM |
Once again, I would invite comparison of Meghan to the fictional character Becky Sharp in Vanity Fair, the novel. Becky is poor, from a sketchy family – father was an artist and a drunk, mother some sort of dancer as I recall, who died when Becky was young but is idealized by her for social climbing purposes (“My mother was a Montmorency!”). Becky is not the nicest person, but she is attractive enough, witty and charming when she wants to be, and extremely ambitious. She befriends the right people on her way up, often playing the victim card – “woe is me, a poor girl without family or friends in this world.” Through her “arts,” she finally bags an aristocrat, not the top prize, but a good enough name - a soldier who is a kind of drunken irresponsible lout without access to the family fortune, but who adores her. Becky is not a terribly loyal wife or friend. She continues her flirtations and becomes a star on the vulgar social scene. She and the increasingly disillusioned oaf have a son. This is where we are in the story.
by Anonymous | reply 154 | May 25, 2019 3:31 PM |
The topic of yachting is being pushed by the Meghan fanatic who, in reaction to the stories of Meghan's climbing and hustling, is trying to push the ridiculous narrative that Kate was a yacht girl. As another poster noted, it's simply her attempt to deflect from speculation about Meghan.
by Anonymous | reply 155 | May 25, 2019 3:35 PM |
R154 - Completely agree that Thackeray's Becky Sharp is the model here. One would have thought the BRF educated enough in their own country's classic literature to have spotted the type and slammed the door in her face.
by Anonymous | reply 156 | May 25, 2019 3:36 PM |
The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning to the belief that Hapless Harry put on such an emotional display (eg. temper tantrum) about marrying Meghan so quickly that the Royals couldn't risk a total nervous breakdown (eg. Harry going completely rogue) and say "NO" to him. They probably suspected that she wasn't suitable but hoped for the best.
by Anonymous | reply 157 | May 25, 2019 3:41 PM |
R155 - Kate met William at university and it became so obvious so quickly that she had a real shot at landing him, that the idea that she would have blunted those chances by yachting for money (of which she and her family had plenty) is so illogical it beggars descritpion. It's just as absurd as Meghan faking a pregnancy with the collusion of the British royal family and the taxpayers who contribute to their lifestyle.
Kate's aces were her nice middle-class background, the experience of stable family life that the Middletons provided as William came home with Kate on weekends, napped on the sofa, and enjoyed Carole Middleton's famous Sunday roasts, Kate's discretion and silence through eight years of being William's primary squeeze, etc. RIght, Kate went off and risked wrecking that by "yacthing". Seriously?!
It is, as others have pointed out, a frantic attempt to put Kate in the same box as the image emerges of the ruthless, hard-arsed, do anything and fuck anyone for fame, too stupid to hide her calculating claws, Miss Markle.
by Anonymous | reply 159 | May 25, 2019 3:44 PM |
R157 - They should have called Harry's bluff, because underneath it all, Harry knows that it is only his membership in the BRF that has given him the wealth and social status that makes him desirable to women like Meghan Markle. The man is an unemployed vagrant with nice family connections and a modestly well-off income without them, and he knows it. They should have told him he had to wait one year, go live with her for that time rather than just having a distance relationship with long breaks, and tested her by telling her that he thought they could do far more together outside the constraints of royal life and he wanted to marry her and get out. If he pleaded her age re having children, they should have told him that as he selected her knowing that, it was his problem, not theirs.
It was another bit of the indulgence that spoilt Harry in the first place.

Actions count. “Followers” are useless. This is something the click counters don’t understand.

R149 None of those things that haters have tagged as "truth" are real, except the fact that Doria does have a criminal conviction listed on public records. Did she spend time in prison for it? Maybe, maybe not, but it was for a serious conviction if we assume that it was her first offense. As for "whoring" well that's what Hollywood/ wannabe actors and actresses get saddled with as far as rumors go, so she's not special in that regard at least on DL. The fake pregnancy and baby are only owned by the craziest of the unhinged loonies. Meghan's track record is shady enough that people don't need conspiracy theories to see that she's not the nicest nor a sincere person. Everything about her is forced and fake.

It's amaaazing that Markle had more than a year to endear herself to the family she never had, or at least some of them, not to mention the British public and media who for the most part welcomed her. Instead of using that time to win friends and influence people, she bullheadedly took a uniformly contrarian approach, just because she could. I guess. By my count, she has no confidantes in the family, and people like that stupid makeup artist are her spokesman...i just don't get the thinking behind burning the bridge you are standing on.

It's sad that there are still people, like R133, who think having more IG followers is a sign of success and happiness. R97, 99, 106, 120 As a woman of colour, she has expressed her anti-Trump views about his misogyny in the past so of course she will snub Trump's visit.
Her baby is only a few weeks old so I doubt that she would leave his side as he would need constant breastfeeding. By 1 to 2 months of age, a breastfed baby will probably nurse 7-9 times a day. Before the milk supply is established, breastfeeding should be "on demand" (when the baby is hungry), which is generally every 1½ to 3 hours. As newborns get older, they'll nurse less often, and may develop a more reliable schedule. Presently, he's too young to be bottle fed.
by Anonymous | reply 181 | May 25, 2019 6:05 PM |
Really, you have to wonder at the subtle brilliance of the courtiers. There had been murmurings that there would be a State Visit for Trump in June with the inference being it would presumably be late June possibly early July to allow for arrangements; so I was surprised when they recently announced June 3rd to coincide the visit with the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
I had expected it to happen after Trooping the Colour on the 8th. But either way, it's become a win/win in the case of disdain for Markle. She isn't involved in [italic]any[/italic] of the events associated with a visiting American president. (Hah, no tiara, no jewels, no inclusion for this minor royal.) And coming mere days to the State Visit, it is unlikely Megs will be on show for Trooping the Colour as well, because the supposed "maternity leave" which is why she is not visible for Trump's visit. It does put a damper on her merching acumen in some Dior or Oscar de la Renta monstrosity, but it saves the rest of us from having to look at her smug cow face on the balcony. Plus, she's probably still fat so there's that.

R168, you know, my memory is foggy. I know the marriage ends badly and she is shunned by everyone she betrayed and alienated. I've picked up the book, and from the last page, we learn:
- Becky brings some sleazy lawsuit against her former friends about money, and strong-arms her way to a win.
- She insists on her title: "She never was Lady Crawley, through she continued so to call herself."
- Her now grown son inherits his father's estate. "He, too, declines to see his mother, to whom he makes a liberal allowance."
And finally, Becky becomes a "humanitarian":
"Rebecca, Lady Crawley, chiefly hangs about Bath and Cheltenham, where a very strong party of excellent people consider her to be a most injured woman. She has her enemies. Who has not? Her life is her answer to them. She busies herself in works of piety. She goes to church, and never without a footman. Her name is in all the Charity Lists. The Destitute Orange-girl, the Neglected Washerwoman, the Distressed Muffin-man, find in her a fast and generous friend. She is always having stalls at Fancy Fairs for the benefit of these hapless beings."
Wonderful book, highly recommended. Though set in the early 1800s, the themes are timeless.

RF knew she was a hustling social climbing hoe. They allowed Harry to marry her to finally separate him from the family letting him hang himself.
RF has played the long game for 1000 years. Drip feeding MM’s hoe past is right on schedule. They gave her a year in the public eye. She did an overnight train ride and walkabout with the Queen. “We accepted her into our family we gave her everything she wanted”, they will say.
As Lord Overlord now controls her public appearances and her social media. How brilliant of them. But not surprising.
It’s only gonna get worse. It will crack MM. But she won’t kill herself narcissists rarely do. She and Harry will be divorced within a couple of years.

Inviting Donnie and the gang to a series of high profile public events that are already planned will be cheaper than creating a new set of activities for him to attend.

R189 Most babies are breastfed nowadays for health reasons.
Use of infant formula has been cited for numerous increased health risks. Studies have found infants in developed countries who consume formula are at increased risk for acute otitis media, gastroenteritis, severe lower respiratory tract infections, atopic dermatitis, asthma, obesity, type 1 and 2 diabetes, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), eczema and necrotizing enterocolitis when compared to infants who are breastfed. Some studies have found an association between infant formula and lower cognitive development, including iron supplementation in baby formula being linked to lowered I.Q. and other neurodevelopmental delays.

R194, certainly it is better for the baby. I wonder if MM is sticking with it. It can be very difficult at first, painful, time-consuming and boring. You’re immobilized for intervals and you have no control over the irrational little person who needs you for it.
I hope she is doing it and enjoying it. It can be difficult to stop what you’re doing, to be a baby’s only source of nourishment. It’s quite humbling.

They even make a strange thing called a 'Breast Pump'.
by Anonymous | reply 202 | May 25, 2019 6:59 PM |
Yes breast-feeding does help to lose weight. Also, I'm not sure about America but int Britain it is very much a class thing - there is a much much higher level of breastfeeding among middle-class than working class mums. Other mothers in the social circles that Meghan will be moving in will be more likely to breastfeed than not I imagine, and they would probably look down a bit on bottle-feeding mums, even if they don't say it.
If she's saying she's going to be making her own baby food then she'll definitely be breastfeeding.

R174. Good point. Markle has distanced herself and doesn't have a royal girlfriend confidante. Diana and Sarah had each each other. Markle would have done herself well by getting cozy with Kate, but they have nothing in common, and Kate has her own family even outside of her kids. Markle really has no one. Markle should have even tried to befriend Beatrice, who may be a minor royal, but she's well-like within the family. Now Markle is hid away at that country cottage with no girlfriend's nearby. Maybe as her self-fashioned image as a "woman of the world" she thinks she doesn't need anyone other than her pretend friends Amal Clooney and Serena Williams who really aren't friends but instead trophy friends.

As for Bea and Edo, I do hope they get married. Either way, I think they were raised by loving parents, are better-adjusted and don’t have the slightly predatory look of the Waleses. Am not sure it’s such a good idea for the scions of the Royal House of Winghers to on and on about their mental health. Same as putting them in casual, scruffy clothing to make them more “relatable”. I can’t believe Harry goes out looking like such a slob. Really, for an upper-crust Brit. I mean, don’t they have a Jeeves in the house!

As far as breast surgery, Markle has already been there. She had implants in the Victoria Beckham style; in other words, they looked like half-grapefruits bolted on her quite low-set flapjacks. Pictures of that era, with sexay low cut necks, were so hilarious that even blind Markle could see it, and she subsequently had them removed.

R247, add to your list: they’re not petulant about doing it, and seem oblivious to the cameras. They’re not too grand for the appearances. Watching Meghan at the elder home, in her sausage-casing dress, overly animated and chewing up the scenery, you could tell the oldies were done with her shit. Bea and Eug don’t act like asshole celebs doing a huge favor.

R235, it does sound that way, although I can’t imagine enjoying fireworks and noise. Maybe, being French, he does. Maybe it was fun people-watching.
I’m the nutbar who keeps saying that Meg and Harry should throw fabulous parties at Frogmore and turn it into a fun and social place. They could probably make an invitation to Frogmore something to be coveted. She could impress everyone with her Pinterest decor and American-style canapés!

The Royals are at serious risk of having a 'Staff Shortage' if HM Queen dies (as expected) within the next 10 years. The Kent's, Gloucester's and Princess Alexandra will be effectively retired and The Princess Royal will be nearly 80.
That will leave a core of (a very old) Charles & Camilla, William, Harry, Kate and Meghan (and Andrew, Edward & Sophie). So not enough Royals to go around. They are likely to need Beatrice and Eugenie to perform some functions for a few years.

Kate and Wills had a few luxury holidays within the first year of George's birth. From the Daily Beast, June 2014:
Kate went to Mustique at the end of January 2014 for a ten day vacay with her family, when baby George was photographed as she changed planes.
William went on a controversial shooting holiday in Spain recently.
The young royals arrived in the Maldives at 9:45am this morning on a British Airways flight, the Royalist understands.
Local paper HaveeryOnline reports that the royal couple are known to be spending their vacation at a resort in Noonu atoll.
Next month they are off to Australia on a royal tour.

At first, the stans' line was basically 'the Queen loves her, everyone in the RF loves her and thinks she's the best thing since sliced bread, everyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.' It has now morphed into the seeming belief that there is some kind of racist plot against Meghan to keep her and Harry in the shadows, away from the main action (where, as they believe, the natural Superstars would outshine the Cambridges in every way). Kaiser on Celebitchy has seem quite pressed about it lately.
So they do see something is up and not all is peaceful in the RF since Hazbean's marriage. They're just writing it all off to racism, which seems a little convenient.
It's just interesting to see that even long-term royal watchers and gossip hounds don't see or understand the obvious: that Meghan has badly misunderstood (or openly defied) her new role as Duchess and high profile member of the RF. From my perspective it looked like they did everything they could to welcome her, and that even now she and her odious ginge are being handled with kid gloves. Literally all she had to do was get the realization that it was now about the RF, and not about her, into her head. She didn't, and it seems still has not.
I must say, it's all very, very entertaining.

Racism is a more difficult card to play in the UK, we don't really have a history of it.
Racial segregation has never existed and we were the first democracy to condemn slavery (which barely existed until it's effective abolition in 1772).

UK lives/breathes class-based society, and any historical race-based issues in the uk that do exist would be more based on scot v. irish v. welsh v. english, and the v. mainland euro
lots of people on the internet work off the assumption that the entire world operates like america, since they've never left that bubble. Or if they did, they stayed in tourist areas where they don't get exposed to new things.

r279 Bullshit. We do have a long and inglorious history of racism. We were also the largest slave trader in the world. We may not have had many slaves on blighty but don't pretend we aren't a racist nation and were some how virtuous when it came to slave trading. You know abolishing slavery lead to colonisation en masse? However racism does not manifest itself the same way as it does in the US. Our friend Sparkle is white passing. What racism she will experience is limited. Most people who see her as white and treat her accordingly. She will be more tripped up by her complete lack of class. We expect our royals to behave a certain way, she is not. So she is not liked. Also doesn't help she is a greedy, obvious, self centred social climber.

Princess Eugenie has an actual career. She completed her studies at Newcastle University in 2012, earning a 2:1 in English literature and history of art.
In 2013, she moved to New York City for one year to work for the online auction firm Paddle8 as a benefit auctions manager.
In July 2015, she moved back to London to work for the Hauser & Wirth art gallery as an associate director and was promoted to be a director in 2017.

[quote]As a woman of colour, she has expressed her anti-Trump views about his misogyny in the past so of course she will snub Trump's visit. Presently, he's too young to be bottle fed.
whaaat? not meet with Trump at the upcoming US State Dinner - where as the new American Duchess, she'd be a star attraction -?
She'd be missing out on all the fun. As would baby Archie! Of course she'd bring him with her, esp as she's breastfeeding. How can you be in isolation/ bonding mode with constant visitors?
I am still waiting to hear how Meghan superwoman, who was going to work through her maternity leave, is going to accomplish this as well. She had two months off before the birth, unlike the majority of pregnant women who work up to the last minute before having babies. Many U.S. women barely have six weeks off, if they're lucky.

I very much doubt that Meghan would have wanted to attend any of the Trump events. It would be very off-brand for her to be seen socializing with Trump world, especially as her fans see her as a celeb and don't understand the diplomatic function of the RF.

R353 - American presidents were not invited to the Wales wedding in 1981, the York wedding in 1986, the Cambridge wedding in 2011, or the Sussex wedding. The actual bride gets a limited number of invitations for friends and family, and the BRF, with the clearance of the government dictates which heads of state get invitations. Nancy Reagan represented the US at the Wales wedding in 1981.
You will note that the Obamas weren't at William and Kate's wedding, where heads of state were kept to as much of a minimum as possible.
The Sussex wedding was a second rate semi-private wedding of the sixth in line. Ms Markle wouldn't have had either the authority or permission to "invite" the American president, whoever he or she was, to her wedding. You will note that her pal Michelle Obama wasn't there, either.
There weren't any crowned heads of Europe there, either, as there were at the Cambridge wedding.
In terms of politicians and heads of state, she gets at her wedding what the government and the BRF tell her to get. End of. And that went for William and Kate, too.
That's the way royal weddings work - never mind second-rate quasi-royal weddings of spares well down the line of succession.

Also Misogynist Marys: Kate's boss gave an interview to the Mail about employing her for her looks to serve his corporate clients, who loved her tight shorts! She hooked up with a millionaire and he took her to the Caribbean, but it was all innocent because Kate is a nice middle class girl who went to private school! Selecting Inskip as one of the godparents would be inspired - there have been so many rumours about why Inskip was exiled (including being excluded as a guest at the wedding) after Harry got serious about Meghan, given what Inskip allegedly knows about Meghan re the yachting gossip. It will essentially imprison him in a loyalty box so he won't ever talk and soothe his hurt feelings at the same time, AND soothe the rumours that Harry's aristo crowd can't stand Meghan, and give the baby a High Society godparent so the Mulroney/Williams/Clooney lot is set off.
Inspired choice, they'd be fools not to do it.

Nat Pinkham is a married mother now but I believe there was a period (during Harry's hard partying years) when they were definitely more than friends. They've been photographed looking non-platonic back in the day and she's been photographed coming/going from his place in the dead of night. If she truly has been ghosted it's because Meggy Sharp researched her target thoroughly and understood that Pinkham, an ex lover and close friend as well as a member of that particular tight-knit set in London that Harry was/is very much a member of, was a threat.

As for Skippies and Tinhats, do we really think the theory that they're not currently living in FrogCott is up there with animatronic babies and faux baby bumps? I would be extremely surprised if any of the batshit baby-related theories ended up being true. I wouldn't be that surprised at all if it turned out they were still at the place in the Cotswolds (or elsewhere) at the moment. It doesn't mean FC isn't on the cards in the future, Harry is a known hater of and total paranoiac about the media, and if any family had access to multiple properties it's his.
R489 By all accounts Harry and Nat Pinkham have been close friends for years. She married in 2012 and there has been no suggestion that any fuckbuddy situation with Harry carried on past that. Their sexual relationship is almost a decade in the past, but their friendship is not. Perhaps Meghan is a subscriber to that particularly puritanical and American idea that spouses cannot continue friendships with their opposite-sex friends post-marriage? It's much more likely to be simple control freak base-covering/territorialism on her part.

R490 I imagine his set's reaction has mirrored the public, in some ways. MM is a polarizing love-her-or-hate-her type of person. You either find her incredibly charming and warm, or you see through the act. My guess would be most of his close friends probably see her for what she is, and are surprised that Harry fell so soon and so completely for an obvious grifter.
Speaking of his friends, which of his lifelong, known close friends was at the wedding? Guy Pelly, Inskip etc.? Have any of them spoken publicly about Meghan/the marriage/the baby? Guy Pelly would actually be a good one to hear from - he's tight with the whole family, including William (godfather to one of the Cambridge kids iirc), and I'd be very interested to hear any comments he has made on Harry's lovely wife.

People not talking to their exes after they marry or even after that start a serious relationship isn't such a uncommon thing. The fact that the ex is considered a "friend" notwithstanding. In fact, many new partners would feel threatened by that situation. I'm surprised it's considered "ghosting."
by Anonymous | reply 494 | May 26, 2019 9:28 PM |
R494 I was using the word the DM used. Another word could be used, if necessary. I do have to say that I think in that set it would be... unusual to end a longterm friendship like that post-marriage, solely because it had been sexual a long time ago.
First of all, everybody has banged everybody in that crowd (and crowds like it). If they all, after marrying, ended friendships with people they'd slept with, none of them would have ANY opposite sex friends. Second, it's just not a common thing to do (end friendships with exes, if those friendships are longterm and real) in England, especially in certain social classes. If anyone in my own social group had done this post marriage - cut off an actual friend at the new spouse's request - I think the 'that's strange and not on' sentiment among the rest of us would have been unanimous.

How many footballers did Smeg bang? None of them were at the wedding, despite Harry's love of sport.

R493, that's a bit "misleading" isn't it? The whole "MM is a polarizing love-her-or-hate-her type of person"? Because really everyone in the UK hates her. It's only lower class Americans who love her, and they don't pay her bills. This is the same crowd that worships at the altar of Beyonce and the Kardashians. (The difference being that those women have at least made their own money.) They're uneducated and shallow and have no skin left that the world hasn't seen, but at least it is their own money.
by Anonymous | reply 497 | May 26, 2019 9:56 PM |

There's another contingent that likes Meghan. Middle class white ladies who read and/or write for the Guardian. Generally members of this group will make a big show of "not caring" about the RF and not being interested and oh it's all so boring. The unspoken "I'm above this kind of tawdry royal gossip" types who nevertheless can get quite heated if someone expresses and strong negative opinion of Meghan.
I'm fairly sure most of these people see a POC with the "correct" opinions when they see MM and nothing beyond that. Their reflexive defense of her is political, not personal. Her skintone and views alone are enough to make her wonderful and worth defending. The Guardian has, hilariously, posted more pro-MM (and therefore pro-RF) pieces than any other print media outlets in the UK. Their female columnists in particular (Marina Hyde WHY WHYYYYYY) have gone to bat for her multiple times, often coming at it from the 'feminist' angle. I.e. "attacking MM is anti-feminist."
I must confess that I probably belong to this demographic of MM-defenders and I have to say it's been interesting seeing the confusion on a few people's faces when I've mentioned I find her awful etc. They can't compute that a center-left, anti-Trump, generally 'right' thinking person like me could possibly dislike MM.

R505 Sarah had a producing role (credited as "Sarah Ferguson") in the 2009 Jean-Marc Vallée film, The Young Victoria, starring Emily Blunt and featured a background player role for Sarah's daughter, Princess Beatrice.
It was Sarah who conceived the idea for a film based upon the early years of Queen Victoria. She had been interested in the queen since her marriage to Prince Andrew, and had written two books about her with the help of a historian.

Agreed re: Louis Spencer. That's the kind of hot that is intertwined deeply with youth. He needs to marry ASAP before he goes to seed completely.
Beatrice does look very much like Victoria in the posted photo - I had NO idea she's played a small background role in a film!
by Anonymous | reply 513 | May 26, 2019 10:55 PM |
I actually liked the Young Victoria film. It gave you a feeling for the politics of the era and how unsettled the early years of her reign were. It was a little too nice to Albert: The film showed his intelligence and concern for the poor, which were both true traits of his. But it didn't show his snobbishness, misogyny, and general control freakiness. I suppose that wouldn't have been so romantic.
by Anonymous | reply 514 | May 26, 2019 10:55 PM |
R511 - The rest of the demographic you describe is probably the same one parading its SJW creds on Celebitchy, and your analysis I think is spot on.
by Anonymous | reply 515 | May 26, 2019 10:56 PM |
R513 - He also needs to marry soon in order to start trying for that male heir, as his father and grandfather did. Diana's mother was treated brutally by her father after three daughters. Finally, the fourth was Charles. Then Charles's first wife had three daughters (two were twins) before having Louis, the much desired heir to the earldom. This title only passes from father to son.
by Anonymous | reply 516 | May 26, 2019 11:00 PM |
Louis has the huge burden of the Althorp estate on his shoulders: His father Charles has talked openly about the fact he'll have to leave most of his money to Louis and not his other six children, simply so there's enough dosh to keep the estate going.
But if Louis is smart, he'll marry an heiress to prop up the family coffers. Do the Coutts or the Grosvenors have any eligible girls in his age range? Those families are loaded.

Now that the DM and the Sun have exposed MM's stated intention to hook up with a British celebrity, with non-anonymous sources, will the floodgates open with lurid details?
by Anonymous | reply 518 | May 26, 2019 11:05 PM |
That kind of tribalism really frustrates me R511, it's like everything you think, say and do must correspond to a narrow range of possible opinions and any divergence from this just doesn't compute, or has people accusing you of being at the complete opposite end of the political spectrum.
And when I say divergence, I mean you have to not just agree with all opinions that have been associated with a particular political and cultural position, but you must agree with the expression of that message at all times, and people and things that have been found to be 'good' by some un-named arbiter cannot be found to be not good, or questioned, at a later date (and vice versa).
It gets to the point where it's all about performance of a particular identity rather than actual critical engagement with the world. So odd.
by Anonymous | reply 519 | May 26, 2019 11:05 PM |
Charles also managed to produce a male spare by this second wife, as well as another daughter, and then one more daughter by his third wife. Hope he's through marrying.
by Anonymous | reply 520 | May 26, 2019 11:07 PM |
Unless you are really into farming and family history, it must be annoying to have to care for a historic estate like Althorp. You may or may not even like the house, but you have to keep tending to it like this giant, greedy beast that always needs more money poured into it.
In some ways, a younger son like Edmund Spencer has it easier. He won't get the big inheritance, but he'll get a great education and great connections, and if he has any wit or brains at all he can make his own good living, marry whom he pleases, and not be chained to Althorp.

R523-I suspect that's precisely what she expected. Ironically, if she did her job as a supporting cast member of the BRF, she probably would have ended up with something a lot more posh that Frog Cot. In a way, that's why I find her interesting. On one hand, she was able to bat her eyes and mother Harry into a whirlwind wedding. That took cunning and nerves of steel. On the other, once she landed the prize, she couldn't figure out how to behave.
by Anonymous | reply 524 | May 26, 2019 11:53 PM |
I do seem to remember a story about Earl Harewood - he hit another car with his (a minor accident, either hitting it in front or behind him in a parking space) and pleaded that he had been listening to a Mozart octet or something and was so focussed on the music that he lost his concentration. I believe he was let off with a minor fine on that basis. He had been at one time director of the Royal Opera House.
His first wife was the distinguished pianist Marion Stein, who was Jewish, and was at first received somewhat coldly by the BRF. In the event, her reserve and discretion as well as her musicianship reversed their view, and when Lascelles left her for another woman leading to a scandalous divorce, the family sympathies whent to Stein. Stein eventually married Jeremy Thorpe - yes, that Jeremy Thorpe of "A Very English Scandal". The woman he left her for was a violinist and the sister of renowned English horn player Barry Tuckwell.
The list of divorces amongst the Lascelles children and grandchildren makes the current Windsor generation look like amateurs.

r511 The reason the Guardian is writing reams and reams about poor Meghan Markle is she looks like them... by them I mean the white columists. They can emphathise with her because of it. Also she is biracial / mixed race and her complexion is just black enough for them to support. I remember seeing some nonsense article about how this was a huge leap for british race relations. Really Guardian? Really? A white man marrying a white looking woman is a huge leap for race relations? Ok. don't let your racism hit you on the way out.
I'm sure the Guardian columists would not like me at all, dark sinned with the wrong sort of views about their beloved MM.

by Anonymous | reply 530 | May 27, 2019 1:12 AM |
The Guardian has to walk a fine line with Meghan - it reflexively descries monarchy, but now that it's no longer 100% white, they have to give credit where due. The Graun ran one columan, I think by Afua Hirsch, also mixed race, who complained that delighted as she was to see a mixed race woman enter the BRF, with her very light skin and straightened hair, Meghan represented the "ideal" mixed race woman - i.e., one who didn't look too black - and it was impossible not to suspect that she'd gotten this far precisely because she didn't look too black. Hirsch pointed out that for mixed race women who unlike Meghan more resemble their African parent than their white one, the less-than message was still the same.

Ouch. It’s not just the Guardian. The liberal New Yorker mag current issue has a feature on Archie and the other royal babies. They never seemed enamored of the BRF before Meg. NYer supposedly has more fact-checkers on staff than any other paper, but they rhapsodized about “Meghan’s cookbook”. But we know she only wrote the forward, if indeed she did that.

Archie Harrison could be a full name. They're giving him the option of dumping Mountbatten-Windsor entirely when he grows up, and only being the amalgamation of his parents--ANAGRAM OF RACHEL HARRY'S SON. There's something weirdly optimistic and wildly narcissistic about the whole exercise, as if they believe in 20 years that their names will be more valuable than any name the BRF could give him.

What I find astounding, fully one year after their wedding, is Meghan's apparent total lack of UK friends. None known at least: no society types, none of Harry's friends wives, no acting or entertainment people either. It's all still her American/Canadian crew, full stop.
I guess it could still happen, that she make new friends in her new home country. Now that they have a permanent home in Windsor and all. You wonder though who they are hanging out with these days.

R519 - You were responding to me earlier and I just wanted to say i TOTALLY agree with you ( agree with you so much I'm actually slightly creeped out - some of what you said is word for word stuff I have thought). "The performance of identity" - yes, yes, this. And no position on the political spectrum has the monopoly on this behaviour, either. But to be accused of racism and redneckism (by people who know me, not internet anons) for not liking MM was unsurprising and disappointing in equal measure. You see it in the DM comment section where pro-Trump and pro-Brexit comments will find themselves wildly upvoted on MM articles. It's like people have just accepted that if you like Trump and Brexit you don't like MM. And if you don't like Trump and Brexit then you like MM. And fuck that. She's awful. She's an awful, cringey, cloying, clinging, bad acting and thoroughly entertaining mess.
Also want to start a petition to label the "Oh, it's the X Troll!" person the "troll troll." Interesting discussion of MM's appeal to various groups .... It's definitely not limited to the types mentioned by R497. I've observed that there seems to be a kind of white-guilt love for some celebs of color. Beyonce is beautiful and charismatic, but she's been put on such a pedestal in recent years. I feel that there are many white ladies who claim to worship her who could only name one or two songs from her catalogue. Meghan appeals to this goop-adjacent crowd too: she's good-looking, white-relatable, "living her best life", woke.

'really everyone in the UK hates her'
Nope. Middle class Guardian readers love her and so do black and mixed heritage fraus in London, Birmingham, Bradford and other multi-culti cities.

[post redacted because linking to dailymail.co.uk clearly indicates that the poster is either a troll or an idiot (probably both, honestly.) Our advice is that you just ignore this poster but whatever you do, don't click on any link to this putrid rag.]

The award for extreme bad taste goes to...JustJared states that Diana's car accident will be a ride in an amusement park. I hope it doesn't happen.

Not necessarily, R554, although that would be the hoped for outcome. Trevor got her Suits. Who got her Deal or No Deal? That was when she had the huge implants and was really pushing hard.

I'm sure that one crazy is also the person who is getting these threads grayed out, r572. Even after all of these threads they don't realize that there efforts are for naught.

Just keep W & W the original poster when you see him/her grayed out.

As odious as Trump and his troglodyte children are, I am looking forward to the state dinner for the tiaras. I really hope they let Kate mix it up and wear something new. Now that she has a new honor, perhaps that puts her in line for a wider selection? It would make my day if she wore the Vladmir.
