I like to change it up whenever possible so I decided to give the current cast hunks (Rafe, Eric & Brady) the spotlight with the others who aren't currently on the screen.

With the 8 months ahead taping schedule, that means they should tape Bill's show in July.

The only real difference between Stacy and Eileen is nostalgia. I think most people have moved on.

Eileen has said on previous interviews that Days is willing to turn itself upside down to get her back, special shooting schedules and all that and she doesn't want to do that to that set.

It seems to me that industry wide that everyone really respects what Days is doing to try and stay on the air. I think they all know that Days going off the air is not good for any of the remaining shows. When Days goes, GH is probably cancelled the very next week. Y&R is on it's what, 20th writing regime since Bill Bell died and BB's ratings are directly tied to YR.

Ted didn't want to work w/Xander, but somehow he got sucked back into it. Xander won't tell Ted who is the one calling the shots.

Anyway, Ted was paid to tip off Xander on Holly's whereabouts, so Xander could kidnap Holly. Plus, Ted was asked to make it seem as if the drug cartel was involved in the kidnapping for revenge for Chloe killing their leader.

It was all fake, and Ted used the opportunity of Holly's kidnapping by highlighting that the kidnapper trusts only him and wants him to come alone in the handoff.

Of course, Ted saw Rafe following him to the hotel room during the time he was driving over to the hotel. He had Xander/kidnapper/Drug Cartell call him and pretend as if he spotted Rafe in the hotel room. Xander said the deal was off.

Then, Xander/Drug Cartel pretender sped off with two dead bodies from the morg. Rafe went chasing behind them. The car goes off the raveen.

I don't agree at all about Jack's return being a bust. I love the fact that Ron is reminding the audience of who Jack is. All to often on soaps people get a redemption story and then who they were before just gets washed away like it never happened. The fact of the matter is Jack was a douche before he got with Jennifer and to try and make him palatable to audiences they made him goofy and comedic. Harper raised Jack in his image and it's nice to remind the audience of that.

The last time Jack came back, he was falling down and being goofy and then fighting Daniel for Jennifer which was stupid. Then they got rid of him again, because it was the same tired ole story. Jack fighting to get Jennifer. Now the situation has been reversed.

Jack's family is trying to get through to him and make him see that he's wrong and to remind him of who he used to be. How many of you have tried to get through to your Trump loving family members? Have tried to remind them what this country is about and that Trump shits on everything that he touches, but they won't listen. Then every so often you get a glimmer of hope that they've seen the light and then they just go right back down the rabbit hole.

The only thing that would have made this story more interesting is if there were more Maga Jack supporters among the full time cast, to show that some of our beloved Salemites are deplorable. Victor is definitely voting for Jack. Roman. Probably a few others.

Days today: How NOT to do a fire. Everything is so BAD about Days not having a budget. Tripp didn’t even react when he saw smoke. This episode is embarassing. Bad production all around. After they showed how emotional Lani was, I know that's her baby. However, I do not think it's JJ's baby. I think it's Rafe's child too.

Both Lani and Rafe were abducted. Lani was for a short time, and she was drugged. She was unable to say much about it. Rafe was held at the Dimera mansion.

David 2.0 is probably the handiwork of Rolfe to get back at Hope for killing his precious Stephano. It's also punishment for Abe for not pushing for a conviction of Hope as the one responsible for the disappearance/killing of Stephano.

I don't recall Smith Island existing before 1993/1994. The first mention, I believe, was when Alice was playing matchmaker to try and get John and Kristen together. Kristen hated John back then. Alice set it up so that both John and Kristen would end up at the cabin. In those days, the set was much bigger and they had an outdoor shower. Smith Island was also where Stefano was reintroduced to the story back in the 90s. Belle was also born at that cabin.

The first reference I recall to Smith Island was in 1993/94, like r580 said. As I recall, Marlena went there for a weekend to get away from all the stress in Salem. Marlena was married to Roman, but having trouble putting her feelings for Johnn aside, so she was continually stressed out.

Marlena had a new fangled device called a cell phone (it was gigantic) and couldn't get cell phone service on the island, but didn't know that. She got into some kind of medical emergency (perhaps she went into labor with Belle?) and couldn't get any help since the cell phone didn't work. But naturally, John came to rescue her.
