Has any recent major release movie have more than one thread ?

A friend just explained to me that the SOULS of those who were sacrificed for the Soul Stone are INSIDE the Soul Stone with Adam Warlock. This is how Thanos encountered young Gamora after the finger snap at the end of Infinity War -- he briefly went into the Soul Stone. Therefore, they CAN be resurrected. So Gamora and Black Widow can both return but not until Adam Warlock is introduced. In Marvel Comics, Warlock was a pivotal player in the Infinity Gauntlet story arc.

R5- Announcing to the whole world and their mothers that you're avoiding spoilers is some kind of nerd version of virtue-signaling now.
Surely, this teacher is the mosted devoted fan of all.

R7
Why?
My enjoyment of “Citizen Kane” was somewhat impeded by my knowledge of the MacGuffin, if only because of the originality of the plot device was coupled with modern knowledge.
The first 3rd of “The Matrix” is a bit less exciting when you know it’s a neocortex level video game.
Verbal Kint is less interesting when you know he’s Keyser Soze.
The guy that beat the shit out of a rude motherfucker that started yelling spoilers is a goddamn hero!

R4 I saw some article that mentions Adam Warlock will be in GOTG 3

It was a fun movie.
Going back to the comment of them showing all the women getting ready to fight, it did feel like they were trying to emulate that amazing Wonder Woman scene where she just moves forward and kicks ass.
Got tears-eyed when I saw Black Panther go thru the light circle things and stands ready to fight. Awesome moment.
Bears another watching for sure.

My theater applauded when Black Panther shows up. He got the second biggest reaction to Spider-Man, where people literally screamed.

I’m going again tomorrow afternoon with some friends. ONE of them hasn’t seen it yet!
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 3, 2019 3:07 AM |
I saw it again yesterday. Even better the second time.

I'm going again on Saturday as well. I never see movies again in the theater.

Can’t we get one gay bi or lesbian avenger? We have a tree, a talking raccoon, robot, male, female, geek, hunk, old, young....not one can be gay in the marvel or DC universe. What gives? And Star Wars and Star Trek are just as lame

China.
This movie doesn't just play in America, the internationally box office is vitally important, China is a huge market where these movies make a ton of money. And these non-western cultures haven't embraced the gay accepting trend yet.

I'm also the type who doesn't see movies again in theaters. But, I want to see this one again in theaters. Maybe in another week or two.

True. But Chinese censors can just cut out the "offending" bits like they did with Bohemian Rhapsody. And it's not like Disney/Marvel/LucasFilm is going to have an explicit love scene or any kind of real love scene between gay characters so if China wanted the film in their country they would just cut it out. China cut some scenes from "Avengers: Infinity War" and the Russo Bros. didn't find out until after the fact.

R19 Which scenes were cut out?

One of the previous writers on the Thor comic didn't like the way he was treated in the film. They felt that the Russo's basically changed Thor into a version Volstagg and the writer hated all the comments and jokes about Thor's weight.
