As a journalist (not an entertainment journalist - I write about environmental issues) I’m surprised that question snuck past Madden’s PR rep. Most celebrity interviews are quick and questions are vetted prior to meeting. It’s not shocking that he declined to answer. Shouldn’t have made it past the editor since it wasn’t even a real response. Did nothing but make both the interviewer look stupid and prying and make Madden seem cranky for being asked to talk about something he’s already been unwilling to discuss.

But on Saturday night, a photo surfaces of him and Brandon sitting together at a play in London, so apparently Brandon has traveled to London with Richard. And now, just a few days later, they're both back in LA, walking down the street with their arms around each other.

A DL poster claims to have seen the two of them together at a restaurant recently, acting all cozy and intimate. DL poster says he assumed they were just another gay couple, but then he recognized Richard.

Madden is not dark enough for Batman, R221. The modern DC version is a very psychologically twisted role. You need to be a dark, rage-filled psychotic like Bale, or at least an alcohol-battling AA case like Affleck. But Madden seemed to have been quite happy with other fluff roles. E.g. Prince Charming in Disney’s new Cinderella. He also took on the role of Romeo on the London stage, opposite Lily James. As for Madden - he’s serviceable, but if it wasn’t for his GoT hyper publicity, he would likely not have been cast in Shakespeare on the West End stage on his own merit. He doesn’t even have proper diction for the stage. Same goes for most of GoT’s “Stark children”.
