I have been watching his antics and I suspect that this incident was only one of many such risqué and “risky” public behaviors that he has done in the hope of being exposed.

But no one cared. No journalist took the bait because his name and face don’t matter. And that drove him crazy. So he upped the ante.

I suspect he has been making out and groping and jerking and sucking body parts publicly all over southern California since the charges were dropped in a desperate effort to be “spotted”—which would mean to him that he is a celebrity after all!—and “outed,” after which he could claim victimhood status and get public sympathy.

At this point, I would guess he will publish an op-ed and/or a statement on Instagram that states he is a gay man who grew up in a conservative area and who is conservative but has evolved to accept himself, etc., and that as a gay man he has been treated deplorably, and as a lifelong Republican he always has been and always will be persecuted and victimized, but that he is living his best life and is resolute in his faith and public service and all this unfair and cruel criticism as he is simply living his life only gives him motivation to be stronger. You MIGHT have had a case for him being a “private citizen” post resignation had he sought privacy. But he did not. After the 24 felony charges were dropped, he did press to proclaim victory and “vindication,” and he told the press he is considering running for office again. That is, he proclaimed he is a public personality and wants to retain that profile. He brought up his magazine coverboy status several times in his several-minutes-long interview on MSNBC. All of this is attention seeking behavior.
