Most sons want to emulate their dads (e.g. be "gym bros" too, lift weights if their dad does it), but hipster kids are usually the opposite. The kid plainly looks like he doesn't care. He's probably used to his dad's eccentricities and is just rolling his eyes like most hipster kids do.
