Heres theor "Meet the Team" page. My money's on Jason B so far, he looks disgruntled.

Trumpies the corpses who love them.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 1, 2019 9:20 PM |
I'm going with Matthew B, R1.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 1, 2019 9:21 PM |
One of the many, many fraus there got on Ben P's nerves one too many times.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 1, 2019 9:23 PM |
I say Ben E. (he has dead eyes) or Justin B. (normally a good guy but something his wife or one of the cubefraus said or did finally set him off).
Ben P. is gay as Liberace’s hot pants.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 1, 2019 9:25 PM |
Jeremy R could be a contender too though, he's got that angry hippie thing going on. They mocked his hair one time too many.

I think it's Shelbe N.'s boyfriend/husband.

What about Bill C.? Any takers??
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 1, 2019 9:44 PM |
Y'all are really ghouls. Many of these people are likely dead and you're amusing yourselves with this game about their murders?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 1, 2019 9:46 PM |
R10, yes. Jesus it doesn’t take Jessica to figure this one out.
Look at his quote for god’s sake. That was the last thing those people heard.
But anyway, thoughts and...ah fuck it.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 1, 2019 9:46 PM |
They found the bodies early this am, so why don't we have more information?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 1, 2019 9:46 PM |
Lot of newbies here recently. See exhibit one: r13.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 1, 2019 9:47 PM |
Uh, R13. This is Datalounge. You're lucky no one's celebrated the death of deplorables yet.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 1, 2019 9:48 PM |
I've been here a while. This is beneath even DL standards for repellent behavior.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 1, 2019 9:49 PM |
R13 isn't that what R2 was trying to do?

Interesting. Her quote, from a Psalm, is “Be still and know I am God.” Imagine her saying to each victim as she pulls the trigger “Be still and “KNOW THAT I AM GOD!”

The guy wearing the scarf is obviously the lone gay in town. Let's hope he wasn't one of the victims.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | April 1, 2019 10:32 PM |
Why does a rental agency need that giant American eagle carrying a US flag in one claw & a POW MIA flag in the other claw? Are they guarding military secrets?
And isn't that kind of cruel to the eagle, expecting him to fly with those honking big flags in his claws?
by Anonymous | reply 46 | April 1, 2019 10:32 PM |

Obvious gay scarf man just snapped after the office fraus gobbled down all the treats kindly given to ALL the staff by a salesman. Having had this horrific crime committed one to many time by the sows he murdered them with a poisoned ambrosia salad, (which none of them could resist, who can?), and was assisted by his pocket gay fuck slave Ben C to hide the bodies in the basement, where they rotted for months as nobody liked them anyway.

Property management companies, regardless of how fair or judicious they are, will always have a pissed off renter here or there. It could have been an eviction notice or something as simple as a notice to comply with a rental or lease agreement that pissed off some personality disordered client.
I have neighbors currently going through an eviction proceeding with a tenant in one of their rental properties, their first one ever in their 15 years in the business. They are really great, fair, landlords, yet they got one bad person who appeared OK but cracked. It doesn't have to be a family feud or a provocation. Just dumb, fucking bad luck.

“The crime scene is contained to where it’s at, and there is no evidence based upon what we see that the public at large is in any danger from what happened there.” How is that not a murder suicide? by Anonymous | reply 232 | April 2, 2019 1:59 PM |
I'll bet it was some kind of poison, probably in a tainted food product someone brought in. That or Ginny G. from accounting's egg salad sandwiches sat out in the sun too long.
The article in R226 mentions they were responding to a medical call, and every article so far has failed to mention guns or a lockdown that would have occurred had a shooting been reported.
by Anonymous | reply 233 | April 2, 2019 2:00 PM |
R233. Good thinking. Poison makes sense. Now that I've slept on it, it was a "medical call", not a "911/someone's been shot/stabbed/beaten etc" call. Why ever call a 911 call a "medical call". Had to be a breakfast meeting and someone brought in some eitherainter or deliberately poisoned breakfast. Maybe it was delivered. Maybe that's why car was seen at 7:05 am the left quickly -- ubereats or something. Maybe they are looking for ubereats delivery guy to see if he was guilty.
by Anonymous | reply 234 | April 2, 2019 2:07 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 235 | April 2, 2019 2:15 PM |
I read the reviews too, most are positive, some rave about the company and since are bad. Pretty typical of any online review comments.
by Anonymous | reply 236 | April 2, 2019 2:17 PM |
They opened at 8:30 am so it is puzzling why the murders occurred around 7 am. Who knew Bill and Lois Cobb and the other two people would be there? And an article said a car was parked for only 4 minutes and then left. Killing 4 people in 4 minutes means a gun was used. I think the medical call was from one of the victims. Very sad.
by Anonymous | reply 237 | April 2, 2019 2:20 PM |
Moment of the articles say at what time the medical call came through. If it was, say, 20 minutes after the mystery car left, it could have been poison
by Anonymous | reply 238 | April 2, 2019 2:22 PM |

Lol R189!
by Anonymous | reply 242 | April 2, 2019 2:31 PM |
A medical call could be anything, though.
If someone walked in and found them dead, even if they were obviously dead, they would call an ambulance to pronounce.
And if you call 911 and say there’s 4 dead people here, chances are they’ll dispatch an ambulance, too hence “medical call.” The police usually don’t say “it was a murder call.”
by Anonymous | reply 243 | April 2, 2019 2:32 PM |
DL will have this one figured out before the cops!
Now think. If the business opens at 8:30, why were Bill and Lois Cobb, plus two others there so early? And who knew they'd be there at that time? Would a customer know that?

by Anonymous | reply 245 | April 2, 2019 2:37 PM |
R244. Given it was a property mgmt company, I can imagine a client saying "oh I really like that [commercial space] [residential space] but I can only meet to sign the papers early on Monday before work. Can we schedule to meet briefly at say 7:00? I will bring the coffee"
I can see this scenario given service nature of what the company does.
The police usually don’t say “it was a murder call.”
In every mass/multiple shooting I've heard or read about, the word "shooting" is used. "Medical call" is odd, but I have a feeling this language has more to do with local reporting and amateurish handling of the crime scene than it does about what actually occurred there.
by Anonymous | reply 259 | April 2, 2019 2:55 PM |
Business owners put in many extra hours. Before/after hours, weekends and holidays. The Cobbs being there just an hour and a half prior to establishing opening hour isn't abnormal.

by Anonymous | reply 262 | April 2, 2019 3:06 PM |
Bill and Lois Cobb were married and probably shared a car to work. They may have liked to start and finish work early. They may not have been the intended targets—they could have simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time if the killer was going after the owner(s). Though, between Bill and Lois, I can see an angry tenant going after someone in Lois' position before a maintenance supervisor like Bill. As an account specialist, Lois would have had direct contact with tenants and would have had the unfortunate job of enforcing rules and polices, which may set someone off.
by Anonymous | reply 263 | April 2, 2019 3:06 PM |
Any guesses as to why their office is so massive? Look at the size of it!! It also has a metal roof, interestingly.
by Anonymous | reply 264 | April 2, 2019 3:08 PM |
Your post just set me off r263.
by Anonymous | reply 265 | April 2, 2019 3:08 PM |
Here’s where the assertion came about a car coming and going. A pickup came around 7 am, and then an RJR maintenance truck left shortly after. So it could’ve just been a worker trading out his personal truck for the company one and starting his day, not even going into the office. The assertion is based on a FB post by a Thomas Simon.
Click on his page - Thomas posted the emergency call. It’s for “cardiac arrest” and other people with injuries. So it could be an employee came in at 7:30 am, discovered the scene, and felt like he/she was having a heart attack.
So Bill, Lois, and the two others could’ve been killed anytime before - maybe even Sunday.

Bri Miller is the daughter of Lois and Bill. She is 1000 miles away and is posting on FB. Her posts are heartbreaking and of anguish, but provide no additional clues except she says “you might have a vengeance.”
The murders occurred at the beginning/end of the month which is of significance to renters, so there’s that.
by Anonymous | reply 274 | April 2, 2019 3:30 PM |
Ben was quoted a few months back on the rental industry:
"It's a lot more aggressive. People are wanting more things. People are knowing that they can be pickier. They can pick what they want and they now want a property management company that they're going to get taken care of. They don't want just the same old mom and pop," said RJR marketer Ben Pace.

That's heartbreaking R292. It's interesting that her parents purchased their dream home a month ago, I wonder if there's a connection there. Possibly a cheap deal on a forclosure, causing hard feelings in the original home owner or something. Just a thought.

R298, the police don’t want to go to your next of kin and tell your family you’re dead without positively identifying you.
Plus, legally what if it was a situation like where the one guy found the other guy with his body type and killed him to fake his own death. They have to be sure first.

Sheriff just said they're not releasing names of victims at the moment out of respect to the families of the victims. They will release the names, but not just yet.

R304 "Briann Miller of Girard, Illinois, tells The Associated Press that her 45-year-old mother, Lois Cobb, and 50-year-old stepdad, Bill Cobb, were killed. Police haven't released the names of the victims found Monday at RJR Maintenance and Management. Bill Cobb was a maintenance supervisor and Lois was an account specialist. Miller says police didn't give her any details about how they died."

Yes, R309.

She knows her parents were amongst the victims, R312, the police called her, but haven't provided her with any details yet.

That's what QAnon has been saying, which I'm sure you know. They decided almost immediately that this was a Sharia Muslim killing and that the Evil Libs are trying to hide it from the public.
by Anonymous | reply 319 | April 2, 2019 4:55 PM |
They've just identified all the victims.
The owner Robert Fakler, Bill and Lois Cobb, and Adam Fuher.
by Anonymous | reply 320 | April 2, 2019 4:55 PM |
So Robert is dead but it sounds like no one has heard from his wife Jackie?
Is it possible that they couldn't identify some of the victims because people are still missing?
by Anonymous | reply 321 | April 2, 2019 4:57 PM |
They have identified all the victims, R321. There's no one else missing or dead. The only thing about the victims that they're not releasing at this time is their cause of death.
by Anonymous | reply 322 | April 2, 2019 4:58 PM |
WTH, where is Jackie!?!
by Anonymous | reply 323 | April 2, 2019 5:02 PM |
I know they identified the victims. I couldn't have asked my question if I hadn't known that.
What I'm still wondering about is why they said they were still trying to identify the victims so long after the bodies were found, why they haven't told Bri how her parents died or given her much information. There was speculation that the couple found was either the Cobbs or the Faklers, and the best I could tell from social media, people in town didn't know which couple it was either. If they'd seen Jackie, they would have known, surely? Or heard from a relative or friend that Jackie was okay but her husband wasn't?
So to hear that it was the Cobbs plus one half of the Faklers is odd.
by Anonymous | reply 324 | April 2, 2019 5:04 PM |
Also, in this article the police say straight out that the four dead didn't kill themselves, and the murderer is still out there.
Is it really so odd for me to suggest that Jackie might be a suspect?
by Anonymous | reply 325 | April 2, 2019 5:04 PM |
Police said 52-year-old Robert Fakler owned RJR Maintenance and Management Company. The other victims were identified Tuesday as 42-year-old Robert Fuehrer, 45-year-old Lois Cobb and her husband, 50-year-old Bill Cobb. They were all company employees.
This says Robert Fuehrer but other reports say Adam Fuehrer. Do we have to go there and investigate this ourselves? Jeez, if you want something done right...

I feel so sorry for Ben P. Bismarck doesn’t have a gay bar and the Grinder pickings seem to be quite slim. I hope he’s getting some good oil worker dick, but I hope he’s not having to drive to Williston to get it.
I love his look, I just wish he hadn’t spoiled his smooth, pale skin with those tattoos. He’s like the boy, Rourke, that Zilv Guldel is engaged to/naking porn with. Ben is cuter, though.
I wonder what happens to all the employees. They obviously aren’t getting paid when they aren’t working. Maybe we should start a gofundme for Ben to raise money to get him out of North Dakota.
by Anonymous | reply 328 | April 2, 2019 5:34 PM |

If she can't be located, chances are she's either a suspect or a victim. Maybe she's emotionally shattered and is staying with a friend or loved one.

I can just see it now, Ben gets contacted by a complete stranger who offers him several thousand dollars raised by anonymous posters on an little-known relic of the Internet past. He comes here and reads all of our bitchery. I can’t imagine that would end well. While we can have our fun here, it’d be tasteless to contact him now with such an offer. It would ruin it, unless he came here and answered questions. That’s a guaranteed way to be come a DL fave as proven by Dylan Geick.
Still, I pony up a hundred bucks to see Ben P. Get out of ND. Minneapolis would be a much better choice and not too far from his family.
by Anonymous | reply 334 | April 2, 2019 6:01 PM |
Agreed, R334. He's a sweetie and many people from small towns and cities in ND end up in Minneapolis. It's progressive, gay friendly, and not far from home.
by Anonymous | reply 335 | April 2, 2019 6:05 PM |
I would donate for Ben P to move to Minneapolis. He seems too sweet for harsh ND.
So Bri is the daughter of employees Lois and Bill Cobb, who were murdered. And the owner, Robert Fakler, was also murdered. But we still don’t know where wife, Jackie Fakler, is. The police did say there are no other people murdered or missing.
Robert’s FB has a Gun Porn link, and his quote on the RJR site, “Say hello to my little friend” indicates he liked his weapons. Well, if those four people were mowed down, then I guess the murderer liked his gun porn too. Another day in America.
by Anonymous | reply 336 | April 2, 2019 6:18 PM |
I guess Robert’s fetish of guns didn’t save his life.

R338 - Bill Cobb (murdered) added the “triggered” gif to Robert’s gun pron link. As in anti-trumpers would be triggered. But then Robert thanked Rolf for his anti-Trump post.
The Cobbs seem so nice - so it’s doubtful they were targeted. And Adam Fuerher was a guy - doubtful his ex-wife showed up a-blazin’.
Someone knew Robert be there early Monday morning. If the murders occurred Sunday, then Jackie would’ve been worried. I’m voting an employee did it after getting fired and targeted the owner, Robert.
Poor Ben P - he must absolutely get out of there. How can he cope after this? Minneapolis is wonderful.

r349 Maybe the killer suffocated the four inside an unventilated storage unit. Then again, if the truck arriving at 7 left four minutes later, at least one body or signal that an emergency medical call was spotted.

Adam killed the others then killed himself. A shotgun would make identifying the bodies difficult. No public threat because the suspect is dead. RE: "careless", Lisa was probably an innocent at the wrong place/time.

How the fuck do you have four dead bodies, none of whom was the killer, a suspect at large with no manhunt and no "threat to public". And have to take 24 hours plus to ID bodies? How did they die????????
At this point the grenade option posted above is looking decent.

How do you know R370? How can 4 people in a small area be overpowered and stabbed?
If the method was stabbing, a similar case did happen in another small, cold, northern town in 2001. Still unsolved. But the cops put out warnings back then. This case is so puzzling because LE is saying the public shouldn’t be worried.

I am all sorts of confused about the picture at r101. Are there eight dwarfs? Is the one next to Ben, the one in the red hat, a chola giving us the stink-eye? And the one with the yellow head gives some shady judgemental look to the gal dressed up as the huntsman. You know, like the ice queen, in the front row (staring at the girl who averts her eyes while leaning against the desk), from the DL classic office pic.

by Anonymous | reply 379 | April 2, 2019 7:53 PM |
r374 I read an account from someone whose coworker knows a RJR Maintenance & Management employee. I quote one paragraph from the hearsay testimony:
A Co-worker of mine, has a friend that works for the company, and they told her they were stabbed. The news mentioned that they were still trying to identify the bodies, well it's a company of 23 employees, so,unless the bodies were mutilated, it just doesn't make sense. It's just all so confusing. I was starting to think maybe an Axe or something? I just don't know how you kill 4 people without any one escaping without using a gun.
As for the police declaration that the public is not in danger, this paragraph from the same source suggests the perpetrator / murderer / 'hacker' was an 'insider' familiar enough with the area to avoid some surveillance cameras:
The building is pretty much brand new and I heard they had cameras everywhere, but there's open fields and a golf course behind the building, so they could have walked from a number of directions and probably avoided nearby surveillance. Another friend supposedly knows one of the first responders.. And all they said was, they've seen a lot of shit.. But this one was extremely bad, by far the worst.

by Anonymous | reply 382 | April 2, 2019 7:58 PM |
Also, I've read that the crime scene was "large", that could mean the employees were in separate locations at the time they were stabbed. A knife doesn't make as much noise as a gun, so while one employee was being stabbed, the other three might not know what was going on. We don't know the times of deaths for each of the four employees.
by Anonymous | reply 383 | April 2, 2019 7:58 PM |

As Lois & Bob are sadly no longer at the helm, it's come to my attention that the staff kitchen is-well to put it bluntly, OUT OF FRINKING CONTROL. I know we are all counting our blessings that WE didn't show up before Opening time, but lets show a bit of self denial. I'm looking at you, Brenda B...that exchange student from Hong Kong still insists it was YOU who 'misappropriated' whatever the hell his 'Fiesta Ware' plate and matching bowl is. Personally, I think it's pushing it to be using such a 'festive' motif at this time of our bereavement but then one must make allowances for these strangers to our land...and their strange ways. Personally Brenda B, I'd have taken it as a compliment last month when he blurted out to you "Me love you long time"! Of course in time, we realized he was talking to Jose's reflection in the mirror, but still dear, it's better than nothing. Now be a lamb and don't make me get Jim and Raoul from Security make a scene with you when leaving tomorrow's memorial. Simple return the affore mentioned dinnerware, and we'll call it a day. And what a day's it's been. I wish it was under happier circumstances but the boys down at KJRT warned me that my interview with them would get a 'national feed' Thank God my two piece knit set wasn't at the cleaners-the one that makes me look like can admittedly heavy-s

To everyone mad that Ben hasn’t returned our affection and support, even if he found this thread (doubtful) he’d have to visit everyday for a week to get posting privileges, or pay the $1.50 but I bet he is saving every last dime to GTFO of Mandan.
I’m so far as what happened, the killer could have already been in the building before the first person arrived. It would be easy to kill them one by one as they came in. I assume only the husband and wife arrived together.

Tonight's episode of "Murder, She Wrote": "Death Most Properly Managed." if there were fiscal year-end practices and duties that would require both Cobbs, Adam Fuehrer, and the owner to come to RJR's office on Sunday. Are both Jackie and Robert the only people with keys to the office.

I don't know why someone local to Mandan, ND would report the four had been stabbed if they weren't.
If the friend of a RJR employee had merely speculated, maybe a gas leak. Poison taken internally wouldn't be instantly lethal, someone would be nauseated but able to call 911. A call for medical help could be made if a victim in the front office was flat on the floor, with no apparent wounds. That'd point to an employee being the culprit.
I speculate still that a stabbing took place. Maybe someone who owed rent went berserk. Fakler was alive Sunday night, according to a friend who had a telephone conversation with him then.

It’s like a riddle: 911 called for a medical emergency. There was no weapon recovered but four were “slain”. There’s a killer on the loose but no one’s in danger. If their grandmas are second cousins who was born first?
My wild and harebrained guess is poison and a woman did it.

by Anonymous | reply 483 | April 3, 2019 2:22 AM |
Poison explains much of the ambiguity. The next person to arrive at the office saw the bodies and made the 911 call. Because there wasn't any blood, they didn't at first think homicide—perhaps just a CO2 leak. The motive could have been infidelity, which is a strong likelihood in many murders involving spouses.
by Anonymous | reply 484 | April 3, 2019 2:23 AM |

r500 it's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves: women tend to be shorter than men, and Ben does not appear tall. My guess is that he was portraying Dopey. Whoever's meant to be Sneezy isn't doing a good job.
The murderer is likely an employee, from the times the murders were committed -- early Monday morning, and from the fact police asked nearby businesses for surveillance video. If an enraged client/customer did the stabbing, surveillance video inside the office would have recorded it. An employee could know how to disable the surveillance cameras' recording. Also, thirty people are on the investigators' interview list.

The fact that they don't think there is any danger to the public must mean they have a motive -- but if they have motive, why not a suspect?
Even if the motive was, say, anger over an eviction or infidelity or something specific, wouldn't you still be worried that the murderer might kill again just to escape being caught?

Plenty of security cameras and the cops saying that no one else is in danger because they know this was an isolated incident, and they are certain it wasn't murder-suicide.
They have to have a suspect, it doesn't make any sense otherwise. But why no arrest? Why still asking for information? Why hiding the cause and time of death?
I'm inclined to believe that the police saying they hadn't yet identified the bodies was simply a delaying tactic, or there was just one victim they couldn't identify (maybe the employee who wasn't listed on the company's webpage), or perhaps they couldn't find family information for him. Bri seems to have been told pretty early about her parents, though not given any information as to HOW they died.
Okay, apparently whoever called 911 was doing CPR. Surely they weren't stabbed, then? You don't do CPR for stabbing.
Yes, you do. Specifically if the 911 operator doesn’t ask some pertinent questions and is merely going under the “they’re not breathing” that the caller may have told him.
And it sounds like the officers not only left the scene after realizing people were dead, but canceled other units? Am I reading that right? What the hell.
From my experience, if a hot call comes in you may have numerous units racing to get there. Once you find out there’s nothing they can do when those other units get there—such as CPR has stopped because the person is obviously dead—you call off the other units so you don’t have them risking their lives to get there only to possibly contaminate a crime scene. Too many cops around may not always be good.

by Anonymous | reply 537 | April 3, 2019 3:54 PM |
Going by the photos of the scene we saw, R534, there were quite a few police officers there, and that even the Barniest of Fifes knows not to contaminate a crime scene.
A dispatcher is not going to immediately tell someone to do CPR if they have no idea what is wrong with the person who's down, because there are plenty of situations where CPR would actively harm the injured/sick person. For a person bleeding from an injury, you'd want a second person applying pressure to the wound as you did CPR. If there was no second person, you wouldn't necessarily advise CPR, not unless they could get a tourniquet on the wound that was effective.
And it sounds like the officers not only left the scene after realizing people were dead,
They didn’t leave the scene per se, as in getting in their cars and leaving. They meant they were backing out of the scene, more than likely to preserve the integrity of the crime scene.
by Anonymous | reply 539 | April 3, 2019 3:55 PM |
Yeah, but a guy who did that would be a guy who would shoot at someone trying to take him in, R537.
You're probably right, R539. I thought perhaps they were saying the ambulances arrived so they were leaving since everyone was dead. But if the officer noticed a trauma wound/injury, then surely they would have stayed, it doesn't make sense otherwise.
by Anonymous | reply 540 | April 3, 2019 3:56 PM |
Judge yourself but in the scanner audio I'm pretty sure he is saying one is a "trauma arrest."
"traumatic cardiac arrest (TCA) is a condition in which the heart has ceased to beat due to blunt or penetrating trauma, such as a stab wound to the thoracic area. It is a medical emergency which will always result in death without prompt advanced medical care"
by Anonymous | reply 541 | April 3, 2019 4:00 PM |
R538, if a person tells a 911 operator that someone is not breathing and doesn’t know if they are “beyond help,” the operator absolutely would advise CPR. Regardless of the injuries, if CPR is not started death is a guarantee. Now, I suppose you could ask the caller to just sit there and do nothing since no one else is around to apply pressure, but that doesn’t make sense.
The photos we’re seeing of the scene will have a lot of people. They’re after word got out and the Crime Scene Unit, Detectives, Patrol cops and their supervisors and the coroner to remove the bodies will all be there. So of course it looks like a lot.
And the Barniest of Fifes knows not to contaminate the crime scene, huh? Would you consider the LAPD a fairly experienced department in that regard? See: People v. Simpson, OJ
by Anonymous | reply 542 | April 3, 2019 4:02 PM |
That’s one thing I don’t get about this secrecy of the police:
You’ve got four dead, no suspect in custody, you’re actively searching for a suspect, but the general public is not in any danger? How can you be so sure.
I wish those Nebraskan reporters were a little nicer than lobbing softball questions and accepting the Chief’s answer so easily.

R543 I know police said the violence was specific to the dead individuals ( I presume he meant targeted) ; but wharf its some freak who decides today is the day he takes care of all the family business? Anyone who has ever interacted with him or gets in his way could be at risk.

Of the photos of responders and law enforceement units on the RJR grounds, I did not see anyone in Haz-Mat suits so some noxious gas released into the building is rued out.
I'm intrigued by "special kind of evil" -- dismemberment? If it were poison then it'd be something everyone working at RJR would ingest. What do all white Americans between the age of 40 and 50 eat and drink at work? Carafes poisoned with decaf and regular coffee? Rat poison substitution for 'Skinny & Sweet' artificial low-cal sweetener?

Ben's Facebook says that RJR is open today.
by Anonymous | reply 554 | April 3, 2019 4:18 PM |
I know there's a guy on this thread who disagrees, but if they were so visibly injured as to be dismembered or decapitated or something similar, no one would have done CPR.
It's possible someone panicked and did CPR and just told the dispatcher they were going to do it, I suppose. But I have to think there was a reason they did, i.e. the person showed signs of life, they didn't look injured, they looked like they could be saved, something.

Four people including one of the owners are murdered in your building on Monday, and on Wednesday you're open?
by Anonymous | reply 557 | April 3, 2019 4:20 PM |
Ziegler says the medical examiner is in the process of performing autopsies on the bodies to determine the causes of death.
Sigh. Either the cops are lying, or they weren't shot, stabbed, bludgeoned, or blown up.
The other issue Ziegler really focused in on is asking for the public's assistance. He says if you have any video from the area, or if you have noticed anything suspicious at all over the last several weeks, or months, to please contact the police.
Weeks or months?!
by Anonymous | reply 558 | April 3, 2019 4:22 PM |
But R557, what if some tenant has a leaky faucet or a broken window or something? I promise you that they wouldn't care if the whole staff had been killed, they're going to write a bad Google review if RJR doesn't get someone over to their apartment right this minute!!
by Anonymous | reply 559 | April 3, 2019 4:23 PM |
Rents have to be collected and processed, employees must be paid. I hope the coffee pots were thoroughly cleaned out or replaced, stale donuts removed, and the dairy replaced with unopened packages of non-dairy creamers. I wonder if someone involved in the Spring Clean used some industrial cleanser to contaminate food or drink or the water cooler.

We need to guess the twink’s type and send someone undercover to Mandan stat. Who do we have in Fargo?

I mean, Jackie's husband was murdered (who knows how, or why, or by whom) Monday morning but BY GOD on Wednesday morning she's there to cash those rent checks. It's the first of the month, you know.

R555, I’m the one you think would disagree with you, but your assessment is spot on.

From Reddit:
If you read Google reviews for the business, three months ago, one person was quite upset and management stated it was turning into harassment and told the customer to no longer contact them directly.
by Anonymous | reply 566 | April 3, 2019 4:33 PM |
I’ll bet it was a pit bull. Or one of those other kinds of dogs that ex cons like to raise. I’ll bet the business had security dogs that went berserk and tore everyone’s throats out. Then the dogs took off for some freedom before being brought to justice for their crimes.
by Anonymous | reply 567 | April 3, 2019 4:34 PM |
r567 the public would be endangered by pit bulls running amok.
Here's a comment an RJR employee made in Google Reviews in response to a one-star review:
[italic] UPDATE: Kaylynn, after a phone call just made to our office, we feel this is getting to be harassment and are formally in writing asking you to no longer contact us directly. Please reach out to our attorney's office with any further questions or concerns. [/italic]

And here's another one from four months ago that involved the cops:

by Anonymous | reply 571 | April 3, 2019 4:43 PM |
Kaylynn's review is detailed but not harassment. She even includes pictures. For them to respond that it IS harassment is a pretty dick move, to be honest.

by Anonymous | reply 576 | April 3, 2019 4:48 PM |
This is a link to Kaylynn's review, and I notice the first comment from RJR is "yeah, well everyone else has only had awesome things to say about the home."
Sure, I'm sure that's true, and she just faked those photos of bad repair work.
by Anonymous | reply 577 | April 3, 2019 4:49 PM |
So who's calling to check in on Ben? It feels like the right time for him to know of his following here.
by Anonymous | reply 578 | April 3, 2019 4:49 PM |
Why is R578 trying to get this thread deleted?
by Anonymous | reply 579 | April 3, 2019 4:52 PM |
I’m not convinced Ben would find this thread comforting.
by Anonymous | reply 580 | April 3, 2019 4:53 PM |
Nor amusing.
by Anonymous | reply 581 | April 3, 2019 4:55 PM |
I see Google Reviews comments from company employees Suzette W and Shelbe N, which under Yelp.com guidelines would be tagged 'not recommended.'
The inside job angle makes more sense though. Three men and one woman were murdered, in a large crime scene area inside the building, so not limited to lobby/counter/front office .
by Anonymous | reply 582 | April 3, 2019 4:57 PM |
I haven't seen their review page. Is there a pattern of dick moves as a general business practice?
by Anonymous | reply 583 | April 3, 2019 4:57 PM |
R579 I'm not trying to write him or flag anyones posts but the next thread starts with him in his onesie...that seems more risky than suggesting something in jest.
by Anonymous | reply 584 | April 3, 2019 4:57 PM |
Of course not. He just lost people he obviously was close to in a crazy murder, and DLers used that fact to immediately start fantasizing about sending him money so he'll come sit on their faces. All while publishing personally identifying information and joking about how awful his friends and co-workers were.
We've had way too many DLers alert people to threads we've had on them, so I don't assume any of these "let's contact Ben" posts are jokes. Some are probably real, if history is any indication.
by Anonymous | reply 585 | April 3, 2019 4:58 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 595 | April 3, 2019 6:08 PM |
I’ve dealt with many property management companies - as a renter, a landlord, and HOA president - and can say I have yet to find one that is truly good. Ineptitude, indifference, and combativeness abound. All they are really good at is cashing the checks.
The tenant who wrote the Google review had valid concerns and, at least from RJR’s response, they were not being adequately addressed. And to be accused of harassment on top of it. RJR sounds like a typical property management company and probably has made many a foe over the years.

Could the police be lying or hiding that this was a shooting, because they don't want this crime to turn into another national story? I can't think of many ways someone could kill four people at once without a gun.
