Universities don't care if the student body can hack it academically.

Students who were accepted based on their grades/test scores drop out all the time for financial and personal reasons, or they transfer to a better school.

Which is why admissions for second and third years have relaxed and overlooked requirements.

If the parents can afford four years of ridiculously priced private high schools, they will be able to pay the university on time.

The SAT and ACT are not government exams, many of these colleges are private institutions, shouldn't this be a civil offense not criminal? People lie all the time. People lie on their resumes to get hired, are they now going to be charged with crimes? What about students who didn't lie to get into college, but cheat throughout their time in college, are they now going to be frogmarched into jail?
