Frank Ocean is slowly opening up about his private life.
In a candid interview about his career and his intuition with Gayletter, the âBlondeâ singer, 31, shared that he is indeed in a relationship.
When asked what itâs like to date, Ocean said, âI donât use dating apps. Iâve been in a relationship for three years.â
He added that he wasnât using apps before then, but he doesnât think he would use them now either. âI fâk with Marc Jacobsâ philosophy on that, so I wouldnât rule it out, but it is a little hectic being a famous person on dating apps.â
Itâs unclear what âphilosophyâ Ocean is referring to, but Jacobs said âgoodbyeâ to Grinder in 2015 after his orgy made headlines.
Ocean doesnât name the lucky person in his life.

Yeah, I guess so.

Soundheim is for the older elite white guys. Frank resonates with Millennials, Gen Z, urban and hip hop fans, and people of color. He is where pop culture is today, not a relic of a past white old elite subculture .

Thatâs sad

Why must everything come down to race these days? If much rather listen to Sondheim than Frank.

r9, this guy is bi so his 3 year relationship could be with a woman.
Also, he was organizing an orgy and it made the news?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 20, 2019 10:19 PM |
Orgy?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 20, 2019 11:03 PM |
r17, ah, I re-read the the post at r9. The sentence about the orgy is apparently referring to Marc Jacobs.

He is the most overrated R&B artist ever. Really. His music is mediocre and if he was around in the 90s, he would only be known for the fact that he's an out gay, black singer. The death of R&B is causing people to overrate this guy's "talent".

"My guy pretty like a girl, and he got fight stories to tell".

Frank Ocean very rarely performs live
Only 10 shows since 2014 according to Setlist FM
He hasn't played a show since 2017
In total, 60 shows since 2011 = 6.7/year
Drake being booed for that at Camp Flog Gnaw seems very unfair

I LOVED Channel Orange but I can't stand the overuse of Melodyne and filter on his vocals. He sounds like a robot in some tracks and the songs since his debut have been similarly overproduced. I can't believe he got queen Jazmine Sullivan to sing on his Endless Nameless project and had her doing backgrounds through a horrible digitised effect.
Glad he's finally actually doing gay lyrics and posting thottier pics, but can we please get some more soulful music again Frank?
