Perhaps the show is working on post-production on the first few episodes to see how everything works out before shooting the rest of the season. The break seems to have dragged on longer than I expected, but this show has Netflix behind it so there should be no problem in getting filming finished.

He’s been in the biz since he was pretty young, though, and no clue what the deal is with his seemingly alive but out of the picture dad (maybe walked out?). Between that and getting bullied as a kid, and his mental health struggles, it’s understandable for him to take his time coming out publicly.

That all being said, he and Connor are both barely even glass closeted anymore, so now’s as good a time to get on with it as any.

Miles himself doesn't appear to care, given all the obvious signals he's put into the public arena, but his agent is the one who won Miles his high-profile and extremely lucrative 13RW role, before which he was considering quitting acting altogether. His agent has clearly told him that officially coming out would damage his career. Miles, equally clearly, feels a debt of obligation to his agent but (presumably) wants to be true to himself, so that leaves him trying to balance the two elements of his life as best he can without really hiding anything or pretending to be anything that he's not. It's a tension that's probably not sustainable long-term, however.

It was the same agent who got him the guest judge spot on Drag Race, after all, which Miles had been asking them to get him for a year or more. Then, when he did the after-show podcast interview with RuPaul, Miles' agent was there right beside him, making sure their client's sexuality wasn't a topic for discussion. It's all a charade in which Miles can do pretty much whatever he wants so long as he doesn't utter the "G" word!

They always tell eachother they “have the voice” on social media - Miles even wrote it in her birthday Instagram post. Miles is CLEARLY encouraging Connor to put down the Criterion Collection and binge trashy reality TV.
