Before this descends into Charmie and LRD bullshit, I just wanted to say how good he is in Miss Stevens. If you haven't watched it, it's on streaming. He has three or four scenes that make it obvious he's going to be around for a long time and no amount of tabloid fangirling is going to stop that. Talent is fucking sexy.

^^^ this is why I’m so excited for all his next projects, including the king. We’ve only gotten shit movies since cmbyn (his performance in BB was good but the movie overall was lacking). He’s working with so many great people, I’m dying to see all his upcoming work.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what kinds of projects he'll be a part of in the future. I'd love it if he'd do theater again. But I guess that's not in the cards right now. He seems to be concentrating on movies. Which is fine by me. I'll go see ANYthing he's in. lol

I think he’ll def be on stage again when the timing is right. We should start to get wind of his upcoming projects within the next few months, unless he’s going to slow down for a bit after dune

I just watched A Bigger Splash again and I wonder what Luca’s Blood on the Tracks movie would actually look like. Tilda’s character is a huge mishmash - some Bowie for sure, maybe Christie Hynde. The “Dylan-not-Dylan” movie might not kook much like him at all. I really hope Timothée is part of it though.

Well, I guess there's some hope for theater since he was asked during a Q & A if he'd do musical theater and he said yes, he would. Not sure I'd want to see him doing a musical though per say, but rather something that showed off his amazing acting abilities. Something dramatic.

I'm genuinely surprized Armie didn't get more awards attention last year. He did 3 movies and one Broadway play. STBY got an award. His role in OTBOS was really Oscar bait. But no buzz. I don't understand. He even did loads of Q&As.

The only reason a young and closeted gay man like Armie Hammer gets a beard early is they are deathly afraid of being outted and not just for career reasons but for reasons that are rooted in self loathing. If Armie married Liz as his beard he is worried also what his parents think. I don't think anything has happened between him in Timmy that can't be argued as character bleed this is why they can remain so tight. Because if anything real was to happen between Armie and Timothée I honestly believe Armie would resent Timothée and practically lose his mind. He needs to get over his deep seeded homophobia. The homophobia which made him marry a woman as conservative as his mother. A woman who hates her womanly figure and starves herself so who shows the sort of misogyny that is in his core. I read The Inheritance. It’s a great play and I’d be shocked if there wasn’t a push to bring it Broadway (it’s set in ny and Is focused on American politics and culture). The roles that timmy would (each actor play 2 parts) fit are pretty juicy.

R544 Honest answer. I've seen 3 movies with her. Yoga Hosers she was terrible. BUT! Everyone was terrible in that film. So that doesn't count. I also saw The Dancer and Planetarium. Planetarium was god awful. She was not great, but I think Natalie Portman was even worse. Once again, a terrible movie can drag any performance down. The Dancer was a good movie. She was alright. There was not much to do acting wise for her. The dancing was impressive.

I think The King and Dreamland will be her first real chance in convincing people that she can act. It's really difficult to say how good she really is, but there was not much range in the stuff I've seen her in.
