Obscenity laws in the US varied from one jurisdiction to the next. Where I live (Southern Ohio) you absolutely couldn't order any gay porn films that included things like fisting, enemas, or any kind of heavy-duty anal sex, and no incest themes, either. Model safety was the fallback position that Chi Chi claimed when it became clear that the condom message had largely failed.
