Well, at first he said 'I'm with Mom tonight' which seemed to mean: 'I'm not gonna deny the rumors, but I don't wanna talk about it tonight, especially not in front of my mom'. But, then the interviewer kept pushing. I bet she got some info, because she didn't ask if the rumors were true, but if he planned on joining her later, which implies it's 100% sure they are a thing.

The problem is he can't lie or fake it for shit. I've said this many times, this stunt will remain at pap walks and parading for this exact reason until they pull the plug. He doesn't need to do more than that anyway, the fans and the media are doing the work for them.

His reaction and body language wouldn't be so jarring if we didn't have hundreds of interviews where he literally could not stop gushing, rambling, and practically vibrating with enthusiasm about how amazing Armie is. I think Tim’s people knew about Lily Rose is questionable past but she fit so many other categories they decided to go with her plus I think they get along as buddies. That’s why that BI mentioned his reservation about her partying giving him away out saying he wants to focused on his acting.

Dating your costars get suspicious after a while, specially if the route is the usual, rumours about flirting on set, going together to a public place, announced that they are together (just before the promo of the film starts), tons of articles on the press, to break up after the end of the promo.

Fans buy anything, but non die hard fans are not that stupid.

It's kind of logic to date a costar, nobody is going to understand your work better than she (or he) but when you put a relationship front and center during the promo, well, he should get a lot of improvement answering personal questions before trying that (or it could be a complete disaster)

These are all only public events that we're talking about because Armie and Timmy *never* broadcast anything about their personal time together and obviously they see each other at other times besides these events but that is not for public consumption, and rightfully so. R498 I noticed that, too. He seemed secure and so much less awkward in most interviews prior to CMBYN. There's an interview on YT with him and John Patrick Shanley, the guy who wrote Prodigal Son, and his persona seems quite confident as opposed to later that year during the awards season. The same goes for Q&As and interviews for One & Two and HSN. He was confident and even cocky during some of them.

The transition from self-secure, relaxed and comfortable to awkward rambling was so sudden, that I thought that the timidity was an act, at least in part, especially since he was transitioning into adulthood where you usually become more confident and mature, not less. Who knows, I'm no shrink. Could be he just can't compartmentalize his anxiety as he's much more watched by the media and fans these days.

Could it be in earlier years during those troubled times he was on medication that he no longer uses. It’s obvious doing some of his interviews with Armie they both were stoned which I think is one of his coping mechanisms.
