Woman and two daughters killed in boyfriend's multi-million dollar home
by Anonymous | reply 600 | January 19, 2019 11:39 AM |
This story is so interesting. The mom had 3 kids with 3 different fathers. Seems to have been married and divorced as a teenager. She's attractive, but I don't know how she landed a hot, rich boyfriend. She was also arrested for domestic assault a few years back. They don't know if this was a murder/suicide or homicide. Boyfriend wasn't home at the time.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | January 11, 2019 8:56 PM |
Boyfriend looks like a total douchebro.

by Anonymous | reply 3 | January 11, 2019 9:10 PM |
Most murders of a woman and her children are perpetrated by the man in her life.
Intruders just want to get in, get whatever they want, and get out. It's been a long time since any unknown intruder was found to have killed an entire family, if ever.

Datalounge Detective Squad, assemble!
by Anonymous | reply 5 | January 11, 2019 9:11 PM |
Countdown to either the boyfriend or the girls' father confessing in 3...2...1....
by Anonymous | reply 6 | January 11, 2019 9:16 PM |
The boyfriend looks cute. Clearly the mother is guilty of the murders, and probably tax evasion.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | January 11, 2019 9:18 PM |
^one of the girls' fathers (brain faster than fingers...)

My bet: a jealous ex BF who went bonkers that she was able to snag that new H.P.O.A
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 11, 2019 9:27 PM |
This woman was trash.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | January 11, 2019 9:32 PM |
But goodlooking, presentable trash.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 11, 2019 9:34 PM |
Honestly this could go anyway but my money's on the bf. Not that the woman couldn't do it if she's a pyscho, but it makes less sense given the kids aren't the bf's. Murder suicides typically seem to be to hurt the other parent.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 11, 2019 9:46 PM |
This fella apparently bought a tract home in San Antonio for $1M last year, ok, but by the time one finishes the article it's morphed into a 'multi-million dollar home', and a 'mansion'. Must be the same writer who wrote about the Glamorous Houston Couple® murder/suicide in their '$1.5 home' (sic) last year.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 11, 2019 9:48 PM |
Yeah, a mansion that ain't. The Daily Mail writers have no concept of American home prices.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 11, 2019 9:51 PM |
R16 Agh, '$1.5M home' (sic) obviously. tsk tsk

"He told police he returned to the property at 9.07am after the spending the night elsewhere and found the three of them dead inside.... It is unclear where he was overnight or before he found them.... On Thursday night, police towed Wheeler's 2013 Ford pick-up from the scene."
I don't think it's a murder/suicide by the mother of the girls. It will be interesting to find out where Wheeler was the previous night.

R4 in 2007, Jennifer Petit and her two t(w)een daughters were mercilessly raped, strangled, and set on fire by two male intruders who'd randomly targeted them earlier that day for burglary. They saw the mother and younger daughter leaving the grocery store and followed them home and then broke in after midnight. Only the father survived, though he had been beaten with a bat pretty badly and left for dead.
Then, of course, you have the Clutter family whose vicious murder in the '50s by two would-be robbers was the basis for Truman Capote's IN COLD BLOOD.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | January 11, 2019 10:37 PM |
If the house is only worth a million, why call it a "multi-million dollar home"?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 11, 2019 10:40 PM |
click bait
by Anonymous | reply 22 | January 11, 2019 10:41 PM |
He probably killed them in a fit of man-child rage. The mother probably didn't cook his dinner right, and pampered, rich, white boys don't get mad, they get even.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 11, 2019 10:42 PM |
It looks like someone pushed the guy's nose and lower jaw to the right before the clay had dried.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 11, 2019 10:43 PM |
Gated community = cameras everywhere. This should get sorted quickly.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | January 11, 2019 11:00 PM |
R20- The Petits weren't so random. The main reason they were specifically targeted was not the robbery but because the younger guy, who had a thing for adolescent girls, wanted to sexually assault the younger daughter. She caught his attention when she was shopping with the mom and sister and he followed them home. Of course robbing the family was also high on their list.
R21- some articles stated it was over a million.
I'm shocked nobody has come up with 'he was cheating with the older daughter and mom flew into a fit of jealousy and killed them all.' Not that I believe that, but it's what I've come to expect on these threads:) Some comments elsewhere think the bf hired someone to do it. Others think the mom was asked to leave the home and she did this. That makes no sense. I don't think the mom did it. Why would she shoot herself in the upper body and not the head? All three were shot in the upper body.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | January 11, 2019 11:13 PM |
I don't know. That sounds pretty brutal.
Any chance he wasn't around because his dealer was coming over? The three women in the wrong place at the wrong time?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 11, 2019 11:16 PM |
R26, I knew a police officer who committed suicide, shot to the chest (upper body), not the head. No, I don't think the mother committed suicide.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | January 11, 2019 11:23 PM |
Datalounge now does double duty as the HLN Auxiliary. But as board fave Woody Allen said, nothing is interesting other than sex and death.

[quote]He told police he returned to the property at 9.07am after the spending the night elsewhere and found the three of them dead inside...It is unclear where he was overnight or before he found them.
I think we have our answer right here.
People do not randomly spend the night away from their own homes without a very good reason.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | January 11, 2019 11:35 PM |
No brainer. The boyfriend did it.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | January 11, 2019 11:37 PM |
Jesus!! No, Jesus!! Don’t kill the white peoples!
by Anonymous | reply 32 | January 11, 2019 11:38 PM |
[quote]I don't think the mom did it. Why would she shoot herself in the upper body and not the head?
I once read an article that stated that suicide methods are different between men and women. Men are more likely to shoot themselves in the head, while women aim for the torso if they use a gun at all to commit suicide. I think it's because women are more concerned with their appearance. Either they want to look good after death or they don't want to upset loved ones who may find them with disfigured faces.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | January 11, 2019 11:48 PM |
When you're killing three though, you're more likely to be in a hurry, a 10 year old and especially a teenager could fight back as well as an adult - and aiming for the head is a lot harder than aiming for the chest. So say the policemens anyhow.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | January 11, 2019 11:57 PM |
Oh I got confused with my answer at R34 - but anyway, I think the truck guy did it. A million dollar house and a 2013 truck? So he's penny wise and pound foolish? (not to mention a psychopath)
by Anonymous | reply 35 | January 12, 2019 12:01 AM |
R35 what's wrong with having a 2013 truck?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | January 12, 2019 12:02 AM |
The boyfriend was fucking the girlfriend’s high school daughter and girlfriend found out and then killed kids and herself.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | January 12, 2019 12:05 AM |
GF found out BF had groomed and started sleeping with GF’s daughter. GF told him she was going to police so he killed all witnesses. More likely scenario than above.

It’s always the boyfriend or an ex.
ALWAYS.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | January 12, 2019 12:11 AM |
Nothing I guess R36 - I just associate trucks with the poors - especially 5 year old trucks.

He’s hawt to death!
by Anonymous | reply 41 | January 12, 2019 12:12 AM |
R38 I was going to write that as a second option but was too lazy.

Lots of man-hating going on here, especially R39.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | January 12, 2019 12:17 AM |
Are statistics "man-hating" as well, R43?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | January 12, 2019 12:20 AM |
Maybe the mom was pregnant with kid #4 with the cute hipster boyfriend or one of the other husbands blew a gasket
She looks like she could be on one of those real housewives shows

I'm betting on this.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | January 12, 2019 12:49 AM |
Sad, R49. Lots of good old boys who aren't man enough to let the women move on, eh? What losers.
"If I can't have her no one can!"
Very backwoods, slave-owner mentality in those murderous man-children. No one belongs to another human, they don't own those women (and children) no matter how long they were married or how many spawn from their genetic material she crapped out.
The life of that type of heterosexual is sick and sad.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | January 12, 2019 12:51 AM |
He did it. There is something VERY off about him that he couldn't find a woman in his own league. That's why he was slumming it with her. Typical hair stylist. They all have messy lives. Three kids with three different dads, starting at age 15. Ugh. No way if this guy was normal he would go anywhere near that.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | January 12, 2019 12:56 AM |
The 22 year old half-brother was probably the victim of the mom's domestic violence charge. I think he should be looked at.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | January 12, 2019 12:57 AM |
R45, I was wondering whether she was pregnant as well.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | January 12, 2019 1:01 AM |

That boyfriend is Hot. I think the mom murder suicided.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | January 12, 2019 1:14 AM |
The gun bounced around the Corinthian granite-like kitchen surfaces - taking out three mug cradlers. At once. They composted, you know. Good people.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | January 12, 2019 1:37 AM |
I remember the Petit murders when thy happened, They were one of the most horrifying things I’ve ever read. I can’t imagine what the family went through.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | January 12, 2019 1:45 AM |
WHY does the media and many posters believe it was a murder suicide? Beautiful, employed woman and daughters, and no clear signs of mental illness. Socially acceptable for Hispanic women to have 1st child while still a young teen as abortion is still taboo. Multiple fathers and boyfriends for each child common.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | January 12, 2019 1:48 AM |
R51😂 go back to the diabetic thread, eh?
by Anonymous | reply 60 | January 12, 2019 1:59 AM |
Bet it's the boyfriend's brother. BF called the police after finding the 3 bodies. Oldest son was away in college, heartbreaking for him.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | January 12, 2019 2:44 AM |
R43 is a snowflake that can't accept reality.
Anyway, wake me up when the boyfriend is arrested.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | January 12, 2019 2:53 AM |
[quote]Nichol never married London's father, 37-year-old Hector Jose Bribiesca, but she sued him for child support in 2013.
What about this guy? Maybe he was tired of paying child support while his babymama lived in a million-dollar McMansion.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | January 12, 2019 2:55 AM |
About the mother from the DM article: In March of 2014, she was charged with a domestic assault. [borderline!?] The case was dropped when the witness failed to appear in court, however.
Not that I think she did it - but sounds like she was violent. Divorced twice by age 25. Sounds like a borderline. They're often rageful and violent (and self-harming) - not sure they're often murderers though. But in a rage, she could have done this, after he walked out in a huff during an argument.
And then again, it's usually the boyfriend.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | January 12, 2019 2:57 AM |
At least he didn't hide their bodies, like the men do in Colorado.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | January 12, 2019 3:00 AM |
LOL @ R59. Are you high?
by Anonymous | reply 66 | January 12, 2019 3:06 AM |
It will turn out to be the boyfriend who did it. All signs point to him.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | January 12, 2019 3:07 AM |
R67 Or he hired someone to do it.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | January 12, 2019 3:08 AM |
R58 I was going to type the same thing. Absolutely horrific. I read that the father was engaged or just got remarried a few years ago. I hope he's happy. He's got to have some serious ptsd from what happened to his family and nearly getting beat to death himself.
As for this case, my first thought was the BF was sleeping with the daughter and hired someone to kill them all. The truth will come out.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | January 12, 2019 3:56 AM |
how long it will be before the BF is arrested ?
by Anonymous | reply 71 | January 12, 2019 4:00 AM |
Maybe she threatened to go to the police about him raping her daughters.
Trust me. Rich, good looking young men don't choose messy trash like this woman unless there is a reason. He was likely a pedo after her kids.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | January 12, 2019 4:05 AM |
I bet it's drug-related.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | January 12, 2019 4:07 AM |
Oh come on. Why are wasting time here? It’s always the husband or the boyfriend. Never fails.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | January 12, 2019 4:25 AM |
It's not a murder-suicide, if that trashy woman was living in a million-dollar home with an attractive guy she'd think she was on top of the world rather than ready to kill herself! And even if the relationship was over she wouldn't think it was the end of the world, she still had her looks and if she'd gotten one rich-ish guy she could get another. So unless someone comes up with a documented history of severe mental illness, i'm going to rule out suicide and murder-suicide.
The only question is, which man in her life did it? Probably the guy she was living with, but she's got enough babydaddys to muddle the question.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | January 12, 2019 5:01 AM |
It's going to turn out the boyfriend did it, or hired someone to do the hit while he was at an alibi location.
He has money. I think he paid someone to do his dirty work.

He was slumming it bigly.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | January 12, 2019 5:46 AM |
What’s the background on the boyfriend. Who are his parents, has he been married, any kids, where did he go to school. Has that been released yet. Did he have an Instagram?
by Anonymous | reply 79 | January 12, 2019 6:02 AM |
Yes, his Instagram is set to private: cwheeler9487.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | January 12, 2019 6:06 AM |
The boyfriend looks creepy af.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | January 12, 2019 6:08 AM |
R77, As I posted earlier, her son's away at college. Evidently she got pregnant at 14, didn't believe in abortion, later married the father. Divorced at age 17, as most teen marriages which result in a pregnancy don't last.
Her 2nd divorce was at age 25 was after birthing a daughter, who was a high school cheerleader. Her 3rd marriage resulted in another daughter, who was 10. She was living with her new boyfriend in his home.
LE impounded boyfriend's truck for analysis. Would this be the normal procedure if they did not suspect his involvement in the multiple murder case? Also is any other online site covering this story?
by Anonymous | reply 82 | January 12, 2019 6:12 AM |
He’d be number one suspect so I’d assume impounding his truck would be standard procedure. As someone said, in a gated community there must be cameras everywhere and it should be easy to find out who came in to the premises.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | January 12, 2019 6:16 AM |
A bullet went through those sacks of silicone? What a waste of money. Did this rich little douche canoe boyfriend pay for the tits?
by Anonymous | reply 84 | January 12, 2019 6:17 AM |
She was very pretty (she resembles Kim K. to me) but, yes, that is a TON of baggage. He is young, hot and well off, why pick a woman with 3 baby daddy's? She doesn't seem to have good judgement, even up until her death. Living with a man with her young daughters in the house is not smart.
R79- I don't know his educational background, but I don't think he has kids. That's why I'm not sold that he did it. Unlike the Colorado twosome, this guy wasn't married to her and didn't have kids with her. He simply could have just dumped her if he wanted to get rid of her. Here's his FB; not much to see.
R82- she didn't marry the youngest kid's father. Google her name and the story will pop up.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | January 12, 2019 6:19 AM |
Blech, he’s a huntin’, cowboy hat wearin’ deplorable. Something doesn’t add up though, guys like that don’t usually go for latinos with multiple baby daddies. Certainly not at 31. I’ll be watching this unfold with interest.

The mom, Nichol (I thought we were done with that name after the Watts case) has a pic of her black brother in her Instagram. I don't know if they're half or full siblings. All of her children look very different. The oldest child, the 22 yr old son, looks Filipino.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | January 12, 2019 6:48 AM |
Was the mom latina though R86? Olsen is a Scandinavian name.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | January 12, 2019 11:00 AM |
But if you were going to hire someone to kill your gf and her children, wouldn't you have it done someplace other than your own home? Where you have to continue living after that?
by Anonymous | reply 94 | January 12, 2019 12:46 PM |
[R94]
I'd bet that's exactly what he's telling the cops: "But officers, if I wanted to kill her, why would I do it in my own home?"
After looking at the photo of the woman and her kids, I'm tempted to think he may have shown some interest in the youngest daughter prior to the "mysterious" deaths.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | January 12, 2019 2:47 PM |
R95, I mean, I know everyone is not going to plan out a murder like a Hitchcock villain, but who wants to come home to that kind of a mess? (Or see police photos that stay in your mind forever?)
by Anonymous | reply 96 | January 12, 2019 2:50 PM |
[R96]
I'm only speculating just as you are, but some of these killers have done it in their own homes and staged it the way I think this guy did.
I don't think he had he guts to do it himself so he paid someone to do it for him and make it look like a home invasion, or murder/suicide.
He may have started diddling the youngest daughter and her mother may have made the mistake of extorting something from him rather than grab her kids and get out of there.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | January 12, 2019 2:59 PM |
Being that pretty yet having three kids with three different baby-daddies doesn’t point to solid mental stability either. But I agree, alot of straight, hot, douche bros go after a woman w daughters as an indirect way of gaining access. I know a very successful hedge fund trader who is seeing such a woman. In pics, he’s awfully attentive to her 16 y.o. girl. Ive seen it before w a college head football coach and famous hair salon owner here in NYC. Gross.

White rich guys pick women who are beneath them in status to have control over them. He probably thought he could do whatever he wanted, and her daughter could play a role in what he wanted, but she wasn't having that.

You can't be serious, R108. Trashiness has nothing to do with attractiveness. And even if it did, she isn't very attractive anyway. She looks like a daytime stripper.
The oldest daughter, on the other hand, is a natural beauty @ R110. You heard it here first, folks. Pedo creep BF was diddling the kids. She found out and was either threatening to go to the police or extorting money in exchange for her silence. Now anyone who could turn him in is dead.
I hope she told friends or her family what was going on.

A suicide with a shot to the chest? I guess it’s possible but the head seems like it would be a quicker, guaranteed, “easier” death. I used to date a paramedic and being shot in the chest isn’t always an instantaneous death. Many of them didn’t die until later at the hospital.

Women don’t really do that though. Men overreact and shoot themselves and/or their families over broken relationships and lost jobs and money issues. Women don’t. This woman could be the exception that proves the rule but I highly doubt it. Women are far more resilient than men and more likely to turn their hurt inward than lash out at the word. Besides this woman has had how many men leave her and the kids at this point.

by Anonymous | reply 163 | January 13, 2019 12:05 AM |
R152 sometimes they do. Susan Smith, Casey Anthony, Christy Sheats, Diane Downs, and most like this case, Carola Arnau and Jessica Eadens, who killed themselves as well as their children. (six more killer-moms at link)
Maybe this one was infuriated that her boyfriend was interested in her daughter and the jealousy threw her into a fit of rage - then she sort of came to and realized what she'd done and killed herself. She may have been borderline - or even schizophrenic for all we know.
I still think it's probably the guy, so I'm not trying to jump the gun and blame mom, but it happens. And this woman obviously cared a lot about her appearance - had had multiple relationships which obviously tended to be unstable ones - there are some markers of a dysfunctional personality right there. But then, he's weird too. Hopefully forensics will tell the tale.
by Anonymous | reply 164 | January 13, 2019 12:21 AM |
This case will be easier than you think-
This douchebro is not married to this woman, so the killings are NOT FINANCIALLY based.
If he killed them, he is hiding something that would destroy him.
Or it is someone else, definitely an acquaintance of the girlfriend.
I am buying the fucking the daughter theory at this point.
Otherwise, it is possibly an enemy of the douchebro's and these poor women are collateral damage-
by Anonymous | reply 165 | January 13, 2019 1:05 AM |
I think moms kill their kids, in general, to save them from some perceived danger, be it Satan or their dad or removal from the home or what not. And dads kill their kids to punish the moms.
So if the mom felt the only way to protect or save her kids was to off them and suicide..... That's the only logic I see getting close to a murder-suicide. Unless the daughter killed the mom and then offed herself?

"The bf was fucking the daughter "
But which daughter, the hot teen or the little girl?
What's the age of consent in Texas, anyway? Because if she was 17, fucking her may have been creepy, but perfectly legal. But even being accused of fucking a ten-year-old would have destroyed him, there are people out there who'd kill just to stop an accusation.
by Anonymous | reply 170 | January 13, 2019 2:20 AM |
Age of consent works differently in different states.
For instance in some states the age of consent is 17 but they can only consent to a person up to a certain age. Not all states are letting 17 year olds get fucked by 40 year olds.

"I think moms kill their kids, in general, to save them from some perceived danger, be it Satan or their dad or removal from the home or what not."
Which doesn't add up in this case. This is someone who'd survived the breakups with all her previous babydaddies and she'd survived and found new men, she still had her looks and presumably had her cosmetologist's license. If the boyfriend was a threat to her daughters, you'd think she'd either walk out and go back to cutting hair, or kill HIM.
Women who kill their kids and themselves are usually facing dire circumstances, they're plunging into dire poverty or something equally horrible, and the mother decides it's kinder to end it all than to let her children grow up in foster care or homeless shelters. Or they're batshit crazy, and there's always the possiblility that this is the case here, but this woman hasn't been in and out of nuthouses of homeless shelters, the way many mentally ill people are. No, this woman had a marketable skill and her looks, and child support money coming in from the earlier babydaddies, by all appearances losing Mr. McMansion wouldn't have been the end of everything for her.
Although if Mr. McMansion is arrested, betcha 100K that his defense lawyer tries to portray the hot momma as mentally ill and unstable.

I don't think this one was, but I thought this was interesting, which was mentioned in an article about her killing her children and then herself: Jessica Edens is the third mother to kill her children in Pickens County (South Carolina) in the past six years. Susan Hendricks is serving life in prison for killing her two adult sons, her ex-husband and her stepmother in 2011, while Suzanna Simpson is serving a life sentence for killing her 7-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son as they slept, as well as shooting her husband in the head. He survived.

But not herself. The cases aren't analogous, that bitch killed her little kids because she thought she were keeping her from getting a well-off man, while the mom in this case managed to get a well-off man with kids in tow.
No, this woman didn't fit the profile of women who kill their kids, who are usually batshit crazy, facing desperate circumstances, or are sociopaths who think the children are an impediment of some sort. This woman was sane enough to work and form relationships, she was doing well enough financially, and the children hadn't kept her from getting a man with a high net worth. It's not a murder-suicide.

I doubt the youngest daughter and boyfriend were having an affair. 1) The mom is hot, imo hotter than the daughter 2) The daughter seems to have implants already so she’s not an overprotected, innocent girl. She has her pick of hot jocks. 3) If they did hook up after he got with mom, she would be furious and betrayed but she let her daughter have implants. She’s not some fundie who would shoot her family over sex and she has lots of experience moving on from men who weren’t the right match.
The only bf/daughter diddling that would make a mom commit murder/suicide would be if he was raping the youngest girl but it still seems a poor motive. She’d be more likely to shoot him if she went crazy. But with her history she would have went to the police I think and had him locked up. If she thought his family money would get him off then she would have shot him too. Why leave a child rapist free to do it again.

Uh, she'd throw the daughter out, leave the house and take both kids with her, beat up the daughter and/or the boyfriend, or shoot the boyfriend? That just isn't a believable motive for shooting herself and both kids.
No, someone outside the gene pool shot them all. The BF is the likeliest suspect, but yeah, it could have been an ex or a local psycho or drug dealer, who knows. Hopefully the police will be able to nail the perp in time.

R220, if someone here seems especially vile, it's best to F&F them quietly. You can rest assured that others of us are doing it with you.
I'm baffled by the posters who are suggesting that the teen victim had implants. They would seem not to have known a wide range of girls and women in real life. Plenty of us develop, shall we say, disproportionately. A friend of mine, who was otherwise thin and toned, had such large breasts that they put an end to her athletic career. She had a surgical reduction in her twenties, because they were starting to cause her back pain. Trust me, it's not that out of the ordinary for someone to be built that way in high school. And a lot of the attention that it garners from men is unpleasant and unwanted.
by Anonymous | reply 228 | January 14, 2019 12:23 AM |
R228 people are speculating on the teen daughter’s breast because they look fake, not because they’re big. Also, the mom clearly had fake boobs, so it’s not hard to believe the daughter had hers done too. And yes, even teenage girls get breast implants nowadays. Welcome to the world of social media.
You sound completely out of touch. Maybe you should go back to watching Hallmark movies.
by Anonymous | reply 229 | January 14, 2019 12:32 AM |
I had large, firm, hard breasts as a young person. At 50 they still hate to give me a mammogram due to my dense breast tissue. One of my boyfriends insisted my breasts were not real - but 100% they are. SO - that said they are probably real, big, and tight - its not impossible. Also even if young people can have some procedures done I doubt any Surgeons would work on a 14 year old, which is what I believe her age was as a freshman in HS. You are still developing at 14 so why would you undergo surgery? You are not done filling out.

by Anonymous | reply 232 | January 14, 2019 12:40 AM |
Agree with Lesbian. Some young women have huge tits in their mid-teens. They grow so fast they get stretch marks. Happened to a few of my friends in HS, while I remained flat chested (sigh). Anyway, there is nothing about that girl's picture that suggests fake tits to me. Young girls have very firm, high breasts naturally.

R236, I agree with the person upthread who said that the boyfriend has been suspect #1 since the instant this crime was reported. We need to read between the lines of any statements from the police right now. They have to tread carefully in these scenarios in order to lull their suspects into a false sense of security while they build their case.

Statement from poster on Websleuths who lives nearby and whose kids knew the aged 10 &15 daughters,
I have heard the BF was very controlling. It has been very strange how tight lipped the media and sheriff's office has been. Zero information since the day the bodies were discovered. They have not even identified the victims even though their schools have and the family has. The 31 year old boyfriend is Charlie Wheeler. It's a shame Texas Rangers or SAPD aren't involved.
by Anonymous | reply 242 | January 14, 2019 3:08 AM |
What a weird comment that sheriff made, “too early to tell who's a suspect and who’s a witness.” Who the hell could be a "witness"? Someone the shooter happened to have along with him when he did the deed? Someone who watched mom do it and then left?
It probably doesn't mean anything - but you'd expect him to say something like, "too early to hell what happened"

Of course a cute rich young man would choose a pretty woman with a messy personal life! First of all, she’s pretty. Secondly, if she were from a lower socioeconomic background, she might be more easily impressed and influenced by whatever mediocre money he has. Thirdly, some straight guys are convinced that crazy/unstable women are wild in bed. It usually means they like the drama and get to call them “psycho” when the relationship ends.
Fourthly, there’s a decent chance that he was after the daughters.

It is possible that she found out the boyfriend was molesting one of her daughters and confronted him? In that scenario he could have been faced with the possibility of losing everything and going to jail. So maybe he staged it as a murder/suicide.
Yes it is possible. if it is the case I would think there would be tidbits of information like messages between mom and daughter, between daughter and friends. seems like stuff like this should come out sooner or later.

R245, Don't have any guesses as to the murderer but WHY do you say one of her ex-husbands/ex-BF did it? Random guess, rumors online, knowledge of something?
Was there a statement from her college age son's father? His son lost a mother, partial source of financial support, likely a home for student vacations and breaks.
Did she have other BF before her current live-in that were very jealous?

Douche-bro is the bad guy here. He's 31, and thinks in his mind that he is age appropriate for a 15 year old. Did none of you know any slender girls in high school that developed a big rack and did not have implants? They were present in mine. Give LE some credit, yeah I also wish that they could have announced his arrest today, but I also understand that I'm being just a little bit unreasonable in that. In the news conference, they were just trying to send a message that they believe everyone is innocent until proven guilty, whether they actually believe that or not. They siezed his truck straight away, trust me, they think it's him. This is not their first rodeo, but it is his.

R249, My niece is very petite and a natural 32 D. Preferred to wear baggy t-shirts to school, saying her classmates were too immature. Studious, smart and musically talented.
R249, Earlier in this thread I questioned if it was normal to immediately tow the BF truck. So he could have come home at 9 am, after spending the night elsewhere, gotten into a violent argument with his live-in GF, and then shot all three? Perhaps since he didn't spend the night, the oldest daughter decided to confess his unwanted attentions? Mother then confronted BF when he came home?
Would make sense why this story is starting to spread in the media if that were the case. Pedo behavior has become a hot topic. It's always been extremely widespread. Also would connect with the 10-year-old's aunt's understandably angry statement, and that of the 16-year-old's father, "My life is over."

[quote] “too early to tell who's a suspect and who’s a witness.” Who the hell could be a "witness"?
The last person or person to see one or all of them, a neighbor who saw him come home, someone who spoke with one of them, someone who saw him elsewhere, the boyfriend himself. Lots of people would be witnesses. The possibilities are endless.
by Anonymous | reply 255 | January 14, 2019 4:09 AM |
Why would he have the girls killed? They weren't married, he hadn't adopted them, so he wouldn't owe child support. They both having living fathers.
Now if he killed her, they might have seen him do it and would be witnesses, so he might have shot all three - and then maybe even tried to stage it to look like she did it (putting her hand on the gun or whatever.)
It seems too weird a coincidence that he wasn't there that night - maybe there was a fight and he managed to escape when she came after him with a gun - and then, in a rage, she shot the girls and herself. I know it seems bizarre but most murders seem that way, especially mothers killing kids, but they sometimes do it, even otherwise intelligent, reasonable-seeming ones. And this one had a domestic assault charge filed on her, which is a tidbit of evidence that she's got a rage problem.

Oh, please.
Sometimes the simplest solution is the correct one.
The boyfriend was likely the one who did it. The fact that he was "conveniently" on an "overnight" trip at the precise time this happened & came back the very next day to find them explains it.
Why did he do it? Because he got mad over something and snapped. There doesn't have to be any deeper meaning than that.

If it was the hot boyfriend, then it was definitely a spur of the moment thing. There is zero way this was planned. He had no solid ties to her. If he wanted her out of his house then he could have started eviction proceedings. I wouldn't be shocked if the bf is arrested, but I'm not totally convinced it was him. His work schedule might have been odd given that he works in the oil business. I'm so curious to see who ends up being areested, if anybody. I'm shocked this isn't being delved into more. Usually details trickle out through the press.

They’re all exceptionally pretty people. The boyfriend is involved, of course. If I had to guess, I’d say that she was a lovely person whose only fault was picking asshole men. He was probably an entitled arrogant jerk, and it’s likely he was molesting one of the daughters.
And it does seem like there’s a cover-up possible, if he’s wealthy and she’s not.
by Anonymous | reply 283 | January 14, 2019 10:53 AM |
R263, you do realize that the literary character “Lolita” was a victim of a child rapist, don’t you? She wasn’t a seductress. The adult man who molested her was delusional and crazy and justified his actions by protesting that she seduced HIM. Humbert is a sick man who SPOILER ALERT is also a murderer.

If LE seized his vehicle immediately, I think they're going to subject it to Ultra Violet light. If he tried to scrub any evidence away, such as blood, UV will reveal any remaining traces.
Regardless of that statement that the deceased was well off financially, I think the guy diddled one of her daughters (I'm leaning towards the youngest), it may have been secretly recorded, and the mother may have tried extorting him for a huge "settlement' to go away.
I think he paid someone to kill them.

I kept fixating on her being reported for domestic assault. Then the three baby daddies and now a different boyfriend with 2 kids in tow. New rich boyfriend - who might have been reluctant to take on the brood - or showing interesting in the teen (and vice versa). Even her looking like Kim Kardashian. All borderline signs. She looked like that mom-suicide-child-murderer Carola Amau upthread. Though this one had an excuse as a cosmetologist, that level of concern about your appearance is another red flag, though a minor one. Prettiness can trigger narcissism/borderline (the conditions are very similar).
At this point, I hope it's true, because that guy has beautiful eyes. What's happened can't be changed but I think she's got a fishier background. He seems a bit sappy. Most men from money wouldn't let a 3-baby-daddy beautician move in his fancy house. They'd be more wary and controlling, to protect themselves, their family's rep, their money, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 295 | January 14, 2019 5:45 PM |

Why do they think the mother did it?
by Anonymous | reply 297 | January 14, 2019 5:52 PM |
I think if you shot yourself, it would be obvious unless someone did a very good job of staging it. The angle your arm would have to be in to shoot yourself in the chest - the residue from on your hand from firing the gun - and possibly the fingerprints on the gun if someone didn't remove it. And why would they? It would just put suspicion on them (whoever moved the gun.) They probably pretty much knew this within a few minutes of getting to the scene. But are still wondering if he knew about it and didn't call in? Was he there when she did it? Did he possibly stage it extremely skillfully? Etc.
by Anonymous | reply 298 | January 14, 2019 5:57 PM |
Well, I didn't finish my thought. The angle of your arm shooting yourself would produce a very particular trajectory of the bullet through your chest - unlikely to happen if someone else was shooting you.

R295, I don't think the her concern over appearance played any role. There are tons of women just like her that aren't violent. I think either she and the bf were separated, hence why he wasn't home or she waited for him to be out to do it. My money is on the relationship hitting the rocks and she was despondent. This guy is a major catch for anyone, much less a baby momma x 3. He was gorgeous, rich and seemed to be generous based on all the trips they went on and the fact that he basically bought a home for she and her kids. For her, this was not only another failed relationship, but the loss of the best guy she ever landed. I think she snapped. I've read some people also kill their kids because they don't want to leave them behind. It sounds like the girls were possibly in their beds when they were killed.
R297- because the girls deaths were ruled a homocide, the mom suicide. So put 2 and 2 together, that's what you get.

Yes I thought that too r306. Something is off in how they are reporting about him. I really hope the case is being investigated properly. I grew up in Galveston and I know first hand how protected the old money families are. I really hope nothing like that is happening here.
The ex husband, father of the eldest daughter, doesn’t sound short of a buck. He was going to buy the kid a Jeep and take her to Hawaii. He has a wife in school so must have a good job and I’m sure he paid child support. I don’t think the motive was finances or losing a meal ticket.

I guess the scenario the officer was outlining was that someone else killed the kids, when the mother saw she killed herself. I think that's very far fetched. I believe she did it but because it's high profile, they want to cover every base. A reporter asked if they were doing extra because of the wealth in the case. So LE is aware of what people are saying.
I saw the bf's mom's FB page and she wasn't friends with Nichol. That's very odd considering they were dating for years. I wish we knew more about the relationship between Nichol and the bf. DM needs to get on the case, stat.

Let's be more specific. Charlie Wheeler's family is not an "old" Texas family of consequence. They are from one of the worst parts of Texas which happened to have an oil boom. He was living outside Boerne TX on Interstate 10 near San Antonio, in one of the endless gated developments. This is almost the Hill Country, which makes it an infinite improvement on Charlie's 'family's home county of McMullen. My guess is his family are NRA-loving, Trump supporters who wouldn't take kindly to their golden boy hooking up with a Filipino? Black? Mexican? hairdresser with 3 children -- no matter how much money she had or how beautiful. This is just a Texas fact. He may have had a taste for brownish women, but his family sure wouldn't have.

Thank you, R311. “Rich” and “Old Money” are not synonymous. Money does not always equal influential, either.
I’m a tiny bit skeptical about the protests of friends and family, because people always say the same thing. “He was such a good father, he would never do that” “Her children were her whole world” etc.

Isn't San Antonio like 65% Hispanic, R311? I don't know too much about that area. Seems like white/Hispanic pairing would be common. I thought Nichol was white passing. I wouldn't necessarily think she was hispanic going on physical appearance. The daughters, OTOH, clearly looked hispanic.
I also don't believe this guy's family have enough influence to avoid him getting charged, especially with a spotlight on the case.

R311 here. Yes, SA is largely hispanic and always has been, unlike Houston and Dallas whose hispanic communities came much later. But the key is his white family getting their fortune from fracking. I hate to generalize but I will, since when it comes to Texas, generalizations are largely true. Even if Nichol were 100% white, ain't nobody's mama-- rich or poor-- gonna be happy about her precious son dating a woman with 3 kids and 2 divorces. Add to that, Texas being as racist as it gets. If a person looks less than white (or her kids do) that means they aren't. But I have to say, that oil field/driller boyfriend sure was rocking himself some sockless loafers for a family that prides itself on ranching, oil, and rodeos. I guess things could be changing.

R319 I don't usually see Texas men of that ilk wearing loafers with no socks. His persona in fotos is a mixed bag. The hipster, craft-beer beard. Crocodile-look loafers, no socks. Tract mac-mansion in gated community. Holiday at Pendry, San Diego. Oil-drilling company.

So, they seem to be saying conflicting things. This statement is really no different than what they initially said, could be murder suicide, but not necessarily. I mean the only thing new is that the ME says that's what he thinks. But they would have done the gunshot residue test on Nichol right away, and known the results. Why can't they say what they found? It's disheartening to here people say that they don't have much confidence in this police force. These three people deserve better than that.

Not 318, but I live in Texas, right next door to the above- described asshole. He's from Kansas, mommy and daddy have money. He's cultivated a fake Texas accent, has a big monster truck, etc.
They're preppy boys playing cowboy dress-up.

No r321, we are in a very different place now.
Olsen's death has been ruled a suicide by the medical examiner, she was not murdered. That changes everything.

R316, you've got that backwards: Old money is more likely to drive old cars. They value discretion, and, furthermore, a car is too easily purchased or financed to be a truly impressive status symbol to those in the know. It's new money who like to drive flashy cars.
Example: Si Newhouse used to visit his boys at summer camp in a beat up old Toyota Camry.

by Anonymous | reply 328 | January 14, 2019 8:58 PM |
Thanks, R318/311. I read Boerne is a mostly white part of SA. I agree with you 💯 that no decent parent would be happy with their kid shacking up with a 2x divorcee, 3x baby mama, regardless of race. I would say he was biding his time with her, but he didn't seem to hide the relationship seeing that he lived with her. Maybe he really fell in love, but I suspect he eventually wanted out and that set her off.
R323- I have no clue what R322 is going on about, but I think that's him in R311 picture. He and his entire family appear to be from Texas.
by Anonymous | reply 329 | January 14, 2019 9:07 PM |
Why would that set her off to kill her own children who weren't his? Those children had fathers. He wasn't the only man in any of their lives. What kind of "revenge" would that be?
by Anonymous | reply 330 | January 14, 2019 9:15 PM |
I'm not yet sold on the murder suicide since they're giving us nothing to go on, but let's say that is what happened. It would take something cataclysmic to make it happen. There would be something in their communications that reveals what it was. They could say something about what it looks like it was, and then it would make sense and we wouldn't have doubts.

R330, why would anyone? But it happens all the time. Maybe she wanted him to feel guilty for eternity, maybe she didn't want to leave them behind, maybe she was on drugs. Who knows, she definitely wasn't in her right mind when she did it. I do think the bf has been unfairly treated just based on him being wealthy, a man, from Texas and a hunter. He honestly doesn't seem like a bad guy based on taking that kind of baggage on when he could have gone down a much simpler road. If she did do this and, there is no reason to truly believe she didn't, she was the psycho and must have been hell to live with, not him.

Hate to be a broken record but BF molested daughter, GF found out and told him she was going to police and he killed them all so no witnesses.
This woman did not kill all those kids with different dads to get back at man who had no biological relations to any of her kids.
by Anonymous | reply 335 | January 14, 2019 11:09 PM |
a decent looking, probably hot in Texas, young man with plenty of money could easily seduce a teenager if that was his thing. Why go for his gf’s daughter, who had a father and an aunt (fathers sister) active in her life. Too much risk when he had other options. Predatory types don’t pick girls with involved father’s and extended families.

by Anonymous | reply 338 | January 14, 2019 11:20 PM |
I thought your post was spot on, R334. Why are some people so desperate to blame the guy - and to claim they know what happened? We have no evidence whatsoever that he did anything wrong. Except possibly hook up with a rageaholic psycho, who'd already been reported for domestic abuse in the past and who had three babies with different fathers and didn't establish a stable lasting relationship with any of them. Maybe she was incapable of that due to her mental instability. But the thing is, we'll never know for sure - what we do apparently know is she killed herself (according to the medical examiner and it would be an easy thing to prove) and she probably killed her daughters (and that will likely be easy to prove too).
by Anonymous | reply 339 | January 14, 2019 11:26 PM |
IN his case the man has been living with the mother and children in a house he bought them. That’s not an opportunistic predator. He’s also likely not the type of creep who dates single mothers to get at their children. The oldest girl had way too many family members and a boyfriend involved for that to work out. Many single mothers are socially isolated , poor and easy targets- not this one. I still don’t fully accept she did this. I think there’s more to this case that will emerge. But him molesting the girl I don’t think is likely.

Baby momma was a boil the bunny type. Went on overdrive and wanted all those men to PAY. She was probably dumped and sat and added it ALL up - raging out - and HAD ENOUGH!!!! All these men will PAY, PAY for what they did to me "discard me"~ use me - I think NOT! This is what I see. I would also suggest they look to see if she started any psych meds recently. I think she got to the very end of her rope. Was not going to be used and discarded one more time. Ticking rage time bomb.

She had no financial reason. Perhaps she had addiction problems?
by Anonymous | reply 345 | January 15, 2019 12:04 AM |
Bingo!! I was too dense to think of it myself but yes! Revenge on the baby daddies by killing their babies! In one fell swoop she got those guys back, who had dumped her or whatever list of grievances she had against them - not paying enough child support etc.
Then she was afraid to face the consequences, the humiliation, maybe too ashamed to face the son who she actually did love (if she was capable of it)... just panicked after killing them and only then thinking of what would come next, so she offed herself.
I think you really nailed it, R344.
by Anonymous | reply 346 | January 15, 2019 12:06 AM |
That you, R339. I chalk up dumbass R337's lack of reading comprehension due to their 6th grade education. Anyway, yes, some posters here are so desperate to blame this guy. There could be video of her doing it and they'll be shouting, 'it was the bf.' It's crazy. There is zero evidence implicating him. The man provided a beautiful home for her and her children, which is a pretty decent thing to do. She has all those red flags in her past, yet he is the one that's being portrayed as shady. You make a good point, she really hasn't had any stable relationships in her past. At some point, it has to be a failure on her part, not the men.
R3444- another good point. Getting back at all the men in her life. I have no doubt the reason the bf wasn't home was because he was living elsewhere. It's what set her off and then your scenario comes into play.

The "she did it" statement is tentative, not definitive. It's "She seems to have done it", not "she did it".
I can only hope that the homicide department is investigating the hell out of this case and okayed that statement to minimize publicity and get any suspects off their guard, and they aren't hushing it up because the guy and his family are rich and influential or anything.

R351 Right there with you. Not feeling good though, in terms of their integrity. If not, it's so much blowing smoke up our ass and I'm not interested. Right now I'm thinking the sheriff is a fucking dolt. Telling us that the medical examiner thinks she shot herself. by Anonymous | reply 357 | January 15, 2019 4:08 AM |
She probably had a lot of built up resentment towards her kids. She was most likely forced into a marriage as a teenager because she was pregnant, had a baby at 15, divorced by 17. Then another divorce and two more kids with different fathers. She has had a lot of responsibility starting at an abnormally young age. I could see bitterness consuming someone in that position; especially if they felt they missed out on a lot because of their kids. Maybe this guy wouldn't marry her because of the baggage or it may not have had anything to do with her relationship. Maybe she was simply just bitter about her life and a little jealous that her daughters were living the carefree teenage years she was denied.
I'm curious if she left a suicide note or if she texted the bf telling him what she was about to do and that's why he came home.

Olsen had made plans to take her 10-year-old daughter to auditions for the NBC TV show “America’s Got Talent” this past Friday, Baptiste said. She also intended to take care of her brother’s daughter Saturday.
Olsen had canceled all her work appointments for the week last Tuesday, which Baptiste said she found strange. But the night before her death, Olsen scheduled two appointments with clients for Thursday morning — the same morning her body was found, Baptiste said.
This is the 1st time I've heard Nichol's blood relatives mentioned. Wish I could read a statement given by her brother who obviously lived nearby.

If you are a fan of Dateline and other true crime shows, you already know that many murders are initially classified as suicide. I remember the case of a former police officer whose third wife died mysteriously, set up to look like suicide. Turns out his first wife's death (found in the bathtub) was ruled a suicide. Well they dug her up and reinvestigated and it was changed to homicide.

That week of cancelled appointments is suspicious. I can't see the article, but someone [Baptiste] found it "strange" - you'd have to be in a position to know that there hadn't been an obvious reason for the cancellation (like the flu) to find it strange.
Could be related to her recent mental state.

I'm guessing her. boyfriend dumped her & she flipped. Most men don't want to take on a women with three kids (no matter how beautiful she is). The fact that people think there is a cover up and this guy and his family have so much money/power and employ a "Ray Donavan" is laughable. Not everything is a conspiracy. Far too many autopsy's are wrong and can be manipulated. How many times have we seen people get away with murder thanks to autopsy reports.?
LE clearly are NOT convinced otherwise they would not had made that statement about still saying they were looking into it. Something does not add up. This is not over, not by a long shot. Lets wait and see what happens in the future.
Suspicious of a pro hit, made to clearly look like suicide, by a competitor to BF business or info he's gained about someone else's dealing. Done as a way to get BF to cooperate.
Hairstylist client became her interior decorator and close friend. Gave a statement of strong support, knew her emotional state, talked regularly. Wish I could copy & post her interview. And he got away with it. On wife #2 now, who he met around the time his wife was murdered.

R377, Sheriff has not said they have ruled the BF out as being a suspect. They have not cleared him of being a suspect or POI. Until the LE publicly rule him out as a suspect then he continues to remain one.
They took BF truck and have yet to return it. Why if this was really a murder-suicide?
Le has also told the press they are yet to fully corroborate BF story. And people say he is not a suspect?
One more point. Another online site claims mother & her older daughter were shot in the head. Don't know if it's true. Hard enough to shoot oneself in the stomach. Younger daughter was shot in the stomach.
What was mother's experience with a gun? Did she actually own one?
Still having trouble believing murder - suicide theory.

R383, Media says youngest daughter was shot in the stomach. She's been positively identified perhaps by dental records. Since she was only 10 she didn't have fingerprints on file unlike the other two victims.
There's also a question if London's stated father is actually her blood relation. He's the one involved in a financial dispute with Nichol, and has not yet said anything in public.
London's aunt has made a statement proclaiming Nichol's innocence of the crime, and that she'd make sure the perp died in prison. They had planned to take her to Costa Rica this summer to visit her relatives.

Were they found in the same room? I’m thinking it would be hard to kill 3 people in the same room, 2 if it’s a M-S because victim 2 would start to run for her life when 1 gets shot. So if oldest girl (most likely to fight back) was shot in the head first, the younger girl ran and wasn’t an easy target so the murderer went for the stomach then turned the gun or herself. Or a murderer killed mom first then the 2 girls in a different room. I think you’d need good skills to shoot someone in the head though. Someone who picked up a gun for the first time couldn’t make that shot twice.

If the kids were in bed, you could shoot the older one first - then the younger one would come running perhaps - maybe that's why she was shot in the stomach. It's more complicated if mom's not the shooter. I guess you'd have to shoot her first.
I still think mom did it. I'm on Team Burke too and I don't think Shanann killed her kids. But it's not worth arguing about it. We weren't there, we don't have the evidence. Hopefully LE will do their job right.

The weirdest thing about this, to me, is that the police seem to doubt the ME’s finding that she killed herself. They are being cautious with their wording.
Personally, I discount the family’s insistence that she would do such a thing. It’s a terrible thing to be accused of, and she isn’t here to defend herself. Of course they will defend her. I wouldn’t assume she did, but these things do happen. I’ve rarely seen anyone say “yeah, in retrospect we must have missed something”.
But I don’t want to assume the worst of her, because it’s almost unanimous that she was murdered.
It’ll be interesting to see what the evidence shows. There has to be surveillance and all sorts of forensic evidence they have to sift through.

The millionaire boyfriend certainly dodged a bullet from this thot.
by Anonymous | reply 411 | January 16, 2019 6:55 PM |
R411, I get the idea he bit off a lot more than he could chew. She was arm candy, but she came with a LOT of baggage/an entourage. Someone googled the address of the house, and not only was her name associated with that address, it looks like a Justin Olsen was living there, too. So you have the three victims, plus her brother? That’s a lot of people to bring along when you’re shacking up with a millionaire?
I’m very interested to see how this plays out. I think either scenario is just as likely as the other.
It seems the youngest daughter’s father is a bit of a mystery. He hasn’t commented and there was a question of her identity - and people are asking questions about her paternity. He was the one she sued for child support? Even if he were pissed as hell about paying for a child that wasn’t his, would he kill three people? I don’t really see that, unless he’s a total psycho.

The house is nice, just decorated poorly. I assume by the previous owners.
As far as the case goes, I don't know why so many are in denial that the mom did it. She's not the first mother to do it and she won't be the last. It really does make sense based on what we know and can speculate on. Boyfriend either moved out or spent the night elsewhere (maybe he's already with another woman) she went ballistic and killed her kids. Maybe he no longer wanted the responsibilities that came along with being with her and she partially blamed her kids for fucking up her life. I saw her ex-husband and he seems like a decent man, but this current bf was a GIANT step up. I'm sure she knew it too. For all those saying she would never do it, how many times have we heard that from friends and relatives of perpetrators? Besides she might have been perfectly fine, but she snapped in that moment.

by Anonymous | reply 417 | January 16, 2019 8:58 PM |
LE is still looking for answers. They have yet to declare Nichol's COD, and they have not overruled the ME’s assessment of suicide. Hopefully there will be updates soon.
BF voluntarily surrendered his truck. LE still has it.
R416, Before I'd believe the murder - suicide theory I'd like to know Nichol's experience with a gun. Did she have her own weapon? Did she know how to use her BF's? Did she have easy access to his gun, or did he keep it locked up?
Some believe all 3 victims were lying next to each other. If so, why didn't one of the girls try to run away when the 1st one was shot? How easy is it for a woman to shoot herself in the head and not miss? Still think it appears to be the work of a pro hit man.
by Anonymous | reply 418 | January 16, 2019 8:58 PM |
Would the LE take away someones truck away and examine it if they were not a suspect? Would the LE check the phone records of a person if they were not a suspect? Would the LE try and corroborate a persons alibi if they were not a suspect?
Truth is the police have already confirmed he is a suspect by the actions they have undertaken. You know what they say? 'Actions speak louder than words'.
Right now, it's be 6 days since the murders, and the police are yet to rule him out as a suspect. What's taking them so long to get his story and alibi straight? The answer is obvious, something is not adding up. Until they officially declare he is not a suspect and rule him out of further investigations, he will continue to remain one IMO.
I remain to be proven wrong.

I don’t think you’re wrong, R419. I’m not buying the suicide. This lady knew how to roll with the punches in life. If this was a suicide, the investigation would be over by now.

f course they are going to check the bf and his car out - it would be ridiculous not to, even if only to clear him as a suspect. It doesn't mean they absolutely have him pegged as the killer. I admit, I'm not sure what the car might tell them, as no one's suggesting the bodies were moved or anything. I'm sure the procedural experts here will have an explanation.

I'd like the house if the roof was tan instead of gray. I just hate mixing browns with grays.
I don't understand why people have an easier time believing the boyfriend did it when we have no indicators that he's a jerk (no prior domestic assaults, like she had - no prior three baby-mommas and no-account brothers in tow - no recent cancellation of a week of appointments with clients that surprised associates - I mean duh! If it quacks like a duck, sometimes it IS a duck. And there are plenty other cases of mothers killing children, with even less evidence of mental distress and no suicide after. Women CAN be psychopaths, sociopaths, narcissists... probably more than 1%. Robert Hare said 4% of the population is full-blown psychopath. That's one out of twenty-five. You're gonna have these cases.
Remember the recent lesbian couple who drove off a cliff or something - well one of them? Susan Smith? Lots more upthread - twelve at one link who all killed their own children. There have even been female serial killers. Here's a link to TEN famous British female serial killers. Why is it so hard to accept?

I think if they found blood or gunshot residue or anything like that in his truck, they'd have him arrested under suspicion in a New York minute. They'd be searching the place where he said he spent the night, they'd take his clothes to search for blood splatter etc. He would be in jail by now.

If she sued him for child support then paternity was probably established without question then.
R424, I agree. He, OTOH, is want many like to hate. A good looking, rich, white hipster/cowboy male. There is no real motive for the guy to kill these 3. No ties.
R418, the girls probably slept in different bedrooms, possibly the daughter ran towards the gunshot to see what was going on and that's when she was shot. I'm sure she didn't realize, especially if it was the 10 year old, that somebody was shooting her sister.
I think a huge problem here is LE. The guy in charge sounds like an idiot. He talked a lot, but said nothing. Just muddled the waters. In the end, I predict they will confirm that mom did it and all that nonsense he was spewing was for naught. I do wish more would focus on what might have provoked her, but I'm not sure they'll go there.
by Anonymous | reply 432 | January 16, 2019 10:13 PM |
She was probably dumped by bf and told to get out - and had been harboring a grudge against the prior baby-daddies, one of whom she had sued for child support. They probably have new women that she's furious about (because some people are just like that - it drives them nuts to see an ex be happy with someone new). So she snapped and got revenge on two of the baby-daddies before committing suicide, in a rage. Personality-disordered women are very prone to suicide (usually it's suicide attempts - but many go through with it. Impulsivity is one of the traits of psychopathy, sociopathy, narcissistic and borderline PD.)

BF has hired a pricey attorney. Remember his very 1st call was to his father, and not to LE. Makes him look suspicious for these two reasons alone. Plus he's never made a public statement of condolence to Nichol's two daughters' relatives. who were obviously very close emotionally and physically and appeared to share custody.
Can't copy FB page but there were at least two previous incidents of domestic violence. Someone in that house twice put their fist through a wall. Nichol's claimed it was a ladder which fell. Well outside repairmen had to be called to fix holes twice. They stated LE should be informed.
Would Nichol be strong enough to punch large holes in a wall? Was it her son, brother, or someone else?

by Anonymous | reply 438 | January 16, 2019 11:28 PM |
All of that is hearsay, R437. It's all seems like gossip that gets passed around by her friends who seem to want to smear this guy and pin the murders on him. How would anyone know if he called his father first? Nobody would know that except him and his family. They sure as hell aren't going to tell Nichol's friends that information. If the walls were damaged, how do they know it was not her? She is the one with the DV charge.
If he did hire a lawyer, he's smart since it seems that people are pointing their fingers at him. I don't see why he needs to say anything publicly either. It's a private matter. If I was this guy, I would get the hell out of that area as soon as possible.
R420, that's a flawed statement. A lot of people reach a breaking point, that's why suicide is at an all time high. It's easy to bounce back from life's punches when you're 17-25 yrs old. At 37, it's a little tougher when life continually beats you down.

I don't see why this can't be a pro hit, initiated by the BF, who didn't look like he was the type to get the job done himself.
Guy shows up, likely with associates, he/they could even have been familiar to the girlfriend and kids so they wouldn't be initially alarmed. Has all three in the same place. Associates put guns on the girls. Main guy puts a gun on the mother. Tells them all not to move and no one gets hurt. Walks toward the mother, pulls another gun out of his holster, tells her to put it in her mouth (or at the side of her head) and pull the trigger. If she doesn't do it, he tells her that they will shoot her daughters. If she does do it, the daughters will go free. She pulls the trigger and drops, the eldest daughter is immediately shot next, the youngest one shot last. Either the associate assigned to her was a crap shot, or she attempted to run.

R439, BF also hired a 24/7 high priced PR company. Easy to independently verify BF hired a pricey attorney.
In addition if BF really, really believed it was murder-suicide then WHY didn't he make a public statement directed at the grieving family of the two girls? He's been dead silent. Very suspicious. Not saying he was the killer. Just that he clearly knows info and is being tight lipped. Was he being threatened, and the perp went after his GF instead?
by Anonymous | reply 442 | January 17, 2019 12:15 AM |
R440, R441, Women normally don't use a gun to commit suicide. Even rarer that they shoot themselves in the head if they're at all focused on their appearance. They don't want their loved ones to bury a body with their head blown off and their face destroyed.
More likely for women to jump off of a tall building. Those few who've killed older children use a vehicle as a weapon.

R441, What's his motive? Not married to her, no kids together, house presumably in his name, no monetary gain. I don't think he was messing with the daughters either. So why would he have them killed?
R442- I don't know why he would need a PR firm. There has been so little info about him, unless that's what they're doing. I'm sure he's worried about his business. See, I don't think it's suspicious he hasn't said anything. He's laying low because he knows he is a POI. He could be traumatized. Who knows what state of mind he's in.

The reason I don’t see it as a pro hit is because it’s a gated community and I’d bet there are cameras everywhere. Too many people live in the house. Pros won’t kill kids, and the ones desperate enough to agree to it will be sloppy. If Wheeler wanted her dead, he could have saved himself a lot of trouble and had her killed on her way home from work. The daughters could have gone to their fathers.
I think she was under a lot of pressure. She had a druggie criminal son, a leech of a brother and two daughters getting cuter as she was getting older. She was already seven years older than her boyfriend. She made bad decisions in her romantic partners, and I bet Wheeler was no exception.
by Anonymous | reply 447 | January 17, 2019 1:06 AM |
I agree that women are very unlikely to be head shooters, but men have no problem with it. R441 I hadn't thought of that scenario, it's pretty gruesome. If it did happen, I think that she'd tell him to go fuck himself, threatening the daughters or not. Regarding him calling his dad first and the poster asking how anybody would know, the police always know who called who and when. Cell phones trip up so many people that are trying to get away with committing a crime.
by Anonymous | reply 448 | January 17, 2019 1:31 AM |

It's ridiculous than women don't use guns to kill others or themselves. Of course they do! Diane Downs shot her three children, one died (1983). Christy Sheats chased her daughters (ages 17 and 22) into the street and shot them dead (2016). Carola Arnau shot her two children (ages 4 and 10) and herself dead (2017). Jessica Edens shot her ex’s girlfriend, her two children (ages 5 and 9), and herself dead (2017).

R450, someone on a FB group looked up and took screenshots of his charges. Then compiled them. It’s quite a listfor a 22-year old. They span the last four years, which was after he became an adult. Who knows what juvie charges he racked up that were expunged?...
If we are looking for violent people in her life... he could have come asking for money, could have been resentful that his half-siblings were living a luxurious life when he had to live life with a teen mom who had an unstable life and a tumultuous love life (to put it nicely). I’m thinking there’s a good chance it was her son.
Here’s a screenshot of the comment.

R446, Pardon me? I read everything anyone writes very carefully, word for word. You don't even know me, yet you use words like "People Like Me?" What is wrong with you?
If you've read my post carefully enough you would have realized that I actually agree with your theory that she was forced to kill. However I still don't know how she could have shot herself in the head when facing an extremely traumatic situation, in front of her 2 daughters, unless she was very skilled with a gun.

Wow, R453. I think you could be right. The son is a derelict. He was probably told to never come to the house or near his half sisters given his criminal and drug background. by Anonymous | reply 460 | January 17, 2019 2:36 AM |
R457, the medical examiner concluded that Nichol killed herself and wasn't killed by her boyfriend (or anybody else.)
"According to a study quoted by Wikipedia (linked), 52-percent of the children who were killed by their mothers (maternal filicide) were female, while 57-percent of the children who were killed by their fathers (paternal filicide) were male. Parents were responsible for 61-percent of child murders under the age of five. Sometimes, there is a combination of murder and suicide in filicide cases. On average, according to FBI statistics, 450 children are murdered by their parents each year in the United States"
And mothers are actually more likely to be the murdering parent when the child is under age 8, and the father more likely if they are 8 or older... "Glen Carruthers, author of "Making sense of spousal revenge filicide," argued that those who engage in spousal revenge killings see their own children as objects"

Thank you, R453! Wow, quite the rap shit for a 22 year old. A far cry from the innocent college student he was portrayed as. Her life wasn't so perfect afterall. It just shows looks can be deceiving. I still think mom did it, but if anyone is a bit suspect, it's the son and his criminal dealings. It's kind of laughable that people are bending over backwards coming up with ridiculous scenarios against the criminal free, business owner BF, while the son is shady as hell and she has had a domestic violence case against her. Something has to be wrong with the boyfriend if he would get involved with this mess of a family.

Its starting to look like a whole lot of drama - the son, the boyfriend who probably did have a temper and punch walls, and the over reactive probably raging out mom - who was most likely really at the end of her rope as I believe the boyfriend did break up with her or demand she leave - with no place to go and a perceived lifetime of being dragged around by baby daddies she probably literally freaked out and killed them all in an act of rage/passion. Fuck them all is probably what went through her mind pulling the trigger, fuck them all, fuck the world. I bring up again like I did earlier in the thread I would be curious if any new medications had been started by mom. Birth control, diet meds, psych meds . . . coke rage . . .

Administrative court: An administrative court is a type of court specializing in administrative law, particularly disputes concerning the exercise of public power. Their role is to ascertain that official acts are consistent with the law. Such courts are considered separate from general courts.

Possibly the son had mentioned to unsavory friends that mom and sisters were living large, and one of them decided to target them for $$. Or he had a drug problem and needed $$. Or boyfriend owed big $$ and someone came to the house to get it. What about the brother who lived with them? What is his story?? Who were his acquaintances? Or, mom was despondent over a busted relationship, and decided, "Oh, you don't want us---you've ruined our lives, this is the outcome!"

I think her brother was the black guy in one of her Instagram photos. Why wasn't the BF with some former SMU sorority girl? I can understand a sexual attraction, but letting her and the crew move into his home? Was he damaged goods too?

One of Nichol's friends posted on FB about a violent incident that allegedly occurred in 2017 on the couple's one year anniversary in Galveston. The BF supposedly got violent with Nichol and cops were called. He left the hotel premises before cops arrived and left Nichol stranded. This friend seems to indicate this wasn't the first time and acknowledged the relationship was volatile. Her account is backed up by other friends of Nichol's in the comments under the post. Nichol seems to have had many friends and most of them seem extremely skeptical over the ME's findings.

Nichol’s brother has a FB page under the name “Justin Sstx”. He is really into customizing cars, I guess it’s his job. He’s not a suspect, in my opinion.

R469, I wonder about the boyfriend. He had to be screwed-up, too. She came with a LOT of baggage. No emotionally healthy man is going to take all that on. I don’t doubt he was a ragey asshole, but I don’t think he killed them.
I feel very sorry for her daughters, because I think they were surrounded by all the shitty men she chose to have in her life.

R480, There's a Blind about a celeb who does charity work at a homeless shelter. He befriends the pretty young women with children. One by one he invites them to live in his home with their kids. Of course sex is expected. OK.
After about a month he breaks up with them, and moves on to the next homeless women with young kids. Some kind of power trip?
by Anonymous | reply 481 | January 17, 2019 11:02 AM |
R480, EWWWW. Actually, it sounds like he wants access to the kids. If he just wants desperate dependent pussy, there are plenty of down-and-out pretty women who don’t have kids...

R485, if it turns out she did it, yes.
Personally, I think it’s most likely the son. If not, toss-up between her and the BF.
by Anonymous | reply 486 | January 17, 2019 5:01 PM |
The only mystery left to me is why the bf would take on her and her merry band of misfits. Only thing I could think of is that he could dominate her because he was the better catch and financially supported her and the girls. But that doesn't even make sense if what someone posted above is true and her brother used to live with them. How dominating could the BF be if he allowed the brother to stay in his home? Now said moocher is insinuating he's a killer. The story the friend told in the IG post is one sided. If he was so bad, she would've left instead of running back to him the next day. I don't think this woman was some shrinking violet and it was far from her first rodeo. Maybe her fiery personality challenged him and that was his attraction to her. This guy is being scapegoated by her friends, family and randoms online, the only thing he seems guilty of is poor judgement and stupidity for ever get involved with these people.

I wonde what she did to make the killer bf so angry.
by Anonymous | reply 488 | January 17, 2019 5:36 PM |
The son is suspicious, especially when we haven’t heard from him at all yet. There’s gun crime on his rap sheet so he definitely has access to a weapon. It would make sense for him to take out his mom and sisters if he felt jealousy. Perhaps he would have shot the bf too had he been there that night. If the brother lived with them where was he? Was he out of the house that night too. I’d like to know why the bf wasn’t there too. That would say a lot. Generally when men are gone all night there’s been a fight and he’s gone to a hotel or a friends house.
by Anonymous | reply 489 | January 17, 2019 5:49 PM |
R489, We don't know whether or not BF took work related brief trips out of town.
I'd like to know if her son was at the vigil and if he made a statement. Odd that relatives of both of the girls (although not London's father with whom she had a custody dispute) have made public statements but not her son.
Now people want to know if Nichol had gotten pregnant again by her live-in BF.
LE was asked by a reporter if Nichol had left a suicide note. LE hemed and hawed and did not answer either way.
If there's any benefit to this tragedy it's that the subject of suicide, particularly in seemingly random situations where the person outwardly appears to be stable and happy, is being widely discussed. Still I don't want to believe this is a case of murder - suicide, and I know many others would agree.

The Facebook post by Nichol's friend at R473 raises some important points:
[quote]The things in this story are so fishy. Nichol was an amazing mother. She would never have killed her daughters. And she loved life too much to kill herself. Why was the boyfriend not home the night the three were killed? He stayed at his parents house. Why did he call his dad first the next morning when he discovered the dead bodies? Why were the security cameras in their million dollar house conveniently turned off? I love you Nichol. Rest In Peace my beautiful friend
by Anonymous | reply 492 | January 17, 2019 6:36 PM |
R485- That is one of the stupidest things I've read. All fingers are pointing in her direction, it's not some random assumption. Just because she's a woman, does not mean she is incapable of murder.
I said this in an earlier post, the biggest problem is the Sheriff, he sounds like a keystone cop. He said the following as per R483,
[html removed]It’s not that I’m not totally convinced by (the evidence),” Salazar told KSAT. “We owe it to the public and to the victims in the case, and their families, of course, to continue this investigation. We can’t just say, ‘Well, this is what the medical examiner says, case closed.’ We’ve still got two murder investigations, at least at this point, on these two young ladies. We have to find out who it is.”[html removed]
He is the biggest dumbass I've seen in law enforcement. He talks in circles. All he's done thus far is throw a rope for the conspiracy theorists to keep hanging on to these completely ridiculous scenarios. I think he knows exactly what happened, but because LE don't want to be accused of bias, they keep drawing this out. I'm in NY and LE would never say something as asinine as this guy did. If they wanted to be vague, they would just say the investigation is on going and they have yet to make a final determination.
R490- I know its been said about the bf too and the public statement, but I think some people are just private. I'm that way myself. A close relative of mine passed away recently and I posted nothing on SM. I actually find it more strange when someone close dies and people post right away. I remember the days before SM, so maybe that's why. I know it's hard to believe, but people snap. In googling mother suicides/homicides because of this case, I came across a lot of these stories. One was Mary Ann Holder. She stood out to me because she not only killed her own 2 kids, but her 2 nephews and her niece. Not only that, but she picked up her son from an overnight and killed him in the car right before killing herself! I think she shot her bf/husband too, but he survived. The story of the aftermath people questioned how well you can really know someone.

R501, Not sure what you meant by a "keyboard warrior" but thanks for the warning.
Linked is the Twitter page of a local reporter. Her most recent Tweet was deleted for some unknown reason.

R504, Correction on my previous post, The tweet (and account) deleted belongs to the person who contacted Peggy O'Hare, the San Diego Express-News reporter on the case, not O'Hare. That does seem odd, as if someone did not want their name and photo out there and associated with this case. Emotions are high. NO seems to have a ton of family and friends who are vocal online.

Keyboard warriors are very comfortable throwing out insults and profanity form behind the safety of their keyboard. They try to project an image of being tough while knowing you can't get physically at them.
And I don't think the woman killed herself and her daughters. The media is being given crap for public consumption while LE does their job, IMO.

Thanks, R506. Reading through some of the articles, apparently Makayla was both😮. She was related to the mom, but not by blood. The mom took her in because her parents were having problems and she started seeing the eldest son. Wow, this woman's life was sordid. Why did she keep taking in kids when she couldn't handle it. The poor nephews already suffered enough with their mom dying. Same as NO, this woman was pregnant and married at 15 and the oldest child was unharmed. I didn't see anything about where the baby was at the time of the killings or why she spared her life.

There had been visits to the home from the Sheriff’s Office in the past year: three to attempt to serve papers, and one responding to a report of theft.
Also there's been a lot of legal hassling with the son's father (Nichol's 1st husband.( Both son and his father should be POI.
by Anonymous | reply 515 | January 17, 2019 10:37 PM |
OK. Changing my theory as to the identity of the perp away from BF to son and/or son's father. Rumors of restraining order and a lot of legal hassles between her 1st ex-husband.
Following statement is from BF much earlier ex-GF:
"I will be SHOCKED beyond belief if Charlie did this. I haven’t spoken to him directly since all this happened for obvious reasons but I was getting information from a family member. Then they were told to stop speaking about the case entirely, with anyone, so that was short lived.
The small amount of info I did get was that 1) There were security cameras at his gate and driveway but not inside his house. 2) He was at his parents home the previous night 3) NO had canceled all of her appts that wk and kept her daughter (unsure which one—maybe both?) from school for a few days leading up to this. She also being “weird” (no further elaboration) leading up to this and in hindsight, there were some signs that this (suicide) was coming.
Feel free to disregard all of the above bc again, people do crazy/evil things that you’d never expect some times. But Charlie really is a sweet guy and I feel so sad for him right now. You’d never even know he was worth millions when you meet him bc he’s just a nice country boy.
Before he bought that house a year ago he lived on a ranch in a tiny south Texas town. I looked at these facts HARD wearing my “prosecutor hat” bc I didn’t want to be the idiot blinded by a friendship. And If I had heard anything thus far, other than the outcry from her friends, that made him sound guilty, I’d shut my mouth."

Good find, R516. I wanted to hear from someone from his side. It's pretty much what I said way upthread. An arrogant, stuck up guy would not be with a woman like this, much less move them into a million dollar house. I think he was just a naive guy and she was a more challenging type than he was used to. Maybe was looking to take a little walk on the wild side being he was from small town Texas. I'm sure he cared for her though. They were probably going through difficulties, which is why he wasn't sleeping home and what might have set her off.
If anyone was a little shady it is the son and ex, but I still believe it was her.

Maybe the DL "murder fraus" are all over this thread because they're insanely jealous of a common skank who landed a millionaire since not even Bubba from the Esso pays attention to them. Deep down, they think she was lucky to land such a catch, but their insane jealousy has taken over and so they must blame anyone but her - he was molesting the kids, he staged the scene to look like a murder-suicide, her son did it, one of her ex's did it. They can't see that the woman might have been totally fucked up and as miserable as they are. The case is total fantasy fodder for them.

I've got nothing against slutitude, R523, but having children by three different guys does look a bit careless.

Depends on the culture, in some cultures there’s a belief that you have to “give” a man a child if you love him and it’s a serious relationship. In this case the son was probably unplanned but at 14 she had no proper sex ed or guidance. The oldest girl was the result of a marriage. It’s not that outlandish. I have male relatives with 5+ baby mamas.
Of course I would have advised the bf against getting involved with someone with that much baggage. The comment from his ex is interesting. I wonder where was a small town ranch boy meeting all these broads. Still, just like the comments from Nichol’s family, it makes him seem too good. We know he had a temper and their relationship was volatile. He wasn’t staying with his parents for nothing. Time will tell.....right now if it wasn’t Nichol I think the son is a bigger suspect than the bf.
by Anonymous | reply 525 | January 18, 2019 12:57 AM |
When I look at the little bit of information that's there about her early relationships and having kids, I don't see anything untoward there. She could have had abortions, but she didn't. She kept and raised all of them. She was probably guided by her personal feelings on kids. But some people on here just type away about what a horrible loser she is. Based on what? I don't see it. And she's never lost custody of any of them, and she's never stopped working, even while with Charlie. And then there's the fact that everyone that knows her seems to love her.
by Anonymous | reply 526 | January 18, 2019 1:18 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 528 | January 18, 2019 1:32 AM |
R528, Murder X 2 + suicide was the original conclusion of the ME as reported almost a week ago. Now LE immediately said that they're taking a much closer look at all of the evidence. Case is inconclusive.
by Anonymous | reply 529 | January 18, 2019 1:36 AM |
R526, I never slut shamed her, but there is no denying she wasn't exactly a great catch. She was pregnant and married by 15, that is not exactly normal. Then she had 2 more kids with different fathers. She also didn't appear to have been able to maintain a stable relationship. She moved her daughters in with a boyfriend that supposedly had control issues, that's not great judgement (not that I totally believe that part). Let's not forget her son has an arrest record as long as my arm and she has DV case against her. She did work, I'll give you that, but she worked in a strip mall salon. She was financially dependent on him and I'm sure HER kids were going to better schools because of the home HE provided. I won't call her a loser (well up until she murdered her daughters), but she wasn't exactly a winner either.
R527- there are some of us that believe she did it. I don't know why these other people are finding it so hard to believe. When the Sheriff announces she did it, they still won't believe it.

Part 2 of my previous post from a woman BF once dated, in response to my question of why he chose to date her:
Yes, he is a very sought after guy. Very very good looking (his pictures, especially with the nasty beard) don’t do him justice.
Honestly, I wondered why he was dating her as well but chalked it up to her being beautiful and him not being someone that is judgmental. And according to her friends, she was a wonderful, kind, loving, fun person, so I’m sure he was attracted to that. He’s also very generous which would explain why he’d let her whole family move in (what else would he do with that big house?)
Also, I have no evidence that he is this type of guy, but maybe he liked the idea of “saving her”? I know so many men that get off on feeling like the white knight that saved the woman from a life of sadness/distress. Just a thought?
by Anonymous | reply 531 | January 18, 2019 1:45 AM |
The following are informative posts from the same private site, in response to the woman who used to date BF:
It’s nice to hear all the kind things about CW, but at the same time I find it so hard to understand how so many have stated (yes on Facebook) allegations of abuse. She may very well have pushed him to it but I can’t understand all the venom. Yes they’ve lost a friend but friends from different groups. How is it they are all saying the same thing? Even a bravo TV star. So strange.
In addition there's another rumor. A friend said her son was contacted by Alexa (his girlfriend) that terrible night, and that she and her sister were hiding from the scary fight between the two. Yes he could have left and gone to his parents house to ride it out. But is it believable she would turn around and shoot her two kids in the head? If she had control of one, most certainly the other would have taken off.
I’m not blaming CW but murder - suicide just seems so unlikely.
Lastly, wasn’t Skylar at the vigil? I read he was but couldn’t speak, too broken up
It was stated she cancelled her appointments Tuesday, and her child wasn’t in school as well. Is it possible she cancelled because her daughter was sick, and she by law can’t be home unattended? (At least it’s that way up her in the Midwest). Then perhaps her daughter was feeling better and she made the two appointments for Thursday.
It wasn’t like she cancelled the entire week for this suggested pact. It seems from the time line just a couple days at most.

“I want to point out that the medical examiner’s findings are independent of what we may eventually find as we continue to conduct this investigation,” Salazar said Monday. “Ours is a separate, but concurrent, investigation.”
Today Salazar said the shootings aren’t “the most clear-cut case in the world,” noting there are too many “unanswered questions.” His investigators are pressing forward to independently verify whether Olsen’s death was a suicide and to find out who killed the children.
“Sheriff: Boyfriend of woman in San Antonio triple shooting is ‘person of interest,’ not a suspect”
“The boyfriend of a woman found shot to death with her two daughters in a gated community of luxury homes near Leon Springs is a ‘person of interest,’ but not a suspect in the case, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said Thursday.
Charlie Wheeler, 31, has cooperated fully with the investigation and submitted to tests seeking any traces of gunshot residue on his hands, the sheriff said.
‘He’s been cooperative with us knowing full well that under the circumstances he’s a person of interest,’ Salazar said. ‘We’re not calling anybody a suspect at this point.’
One of Wheeler’s attorneys expressed frustration with the sheriff’s comments and said there is no probable cause indicating Wheeler committed any crime.
‘We think it is regrettable that this young man is being demonized, that he’s now being publicly identified,’ said San Antonio attorney Mark Stevens, one of three lawyers representing Wheeler. ‘He is a young man with no criminal record for violence whatsoever.
Attorneys Therese Huntzinger and Patrick Hancock are also part of Wheeler’s legal team.
Wheeler told officers he found the victims’ bodies when he returned home around 9 a.m. that morning after staying at a relative’s home in another city the night before. Wheeler had departed the residence the previous evening due to conflict in the home, the sheriff said. Investigators are still working to verify his whereabouts during that time period.
‘People have told us that this wasn’t the happiest of relationships,’ Salazar said of Wheeler and Olsen. ‘We take that information into account ... but we can’t just rely on that as a determining factor in motive or anything like that.’”
"The three were found close together on the floor of a common area on the second floor of the house, Salazar said. A handgun was found in close proximity to Olsen’s body, he said. No suicide note was found."

Until youve had a gun pointed at you,you cant even begin to know how you'll react. Both times it happened to me I literally froze in place. I couldnt have moved if I wanted to. The mother could have very well shot one girl with the other standing right there and had time to shoot the other one.

Some of us are forgetting that the police are not telling us the whole truth and nothing but the truth, they're telling us what they want the public to know. They feel perfectly free to withhold information from the public or lie, because it's necessary to keep some things private while investigating a suspicious death.
And if you don't know that, you don't deserve to be on the Datalounge Detective Squad!
by Anonymous | reply 535 | January 18, 2019 2:24 AM |
Give it up, R535. It's a week later, if the bf or anyone else did it, they would have arrested him. If you're thinking Chris Watts, the wife and kids were "missing" as per his story. I can see cops playing along with that bullshit. Here, there is no reason to. It's a more clean cut case. Find dead bodies, determine who did it. That brother in NJ who killed his millionaire brother, SIL, niece and nephew before burning their house down and setting fire to his own home was more complex. Yet, they arrested the brother within days. Not sure if the whole SAP department is inept or just the bumbling Sheriff.
They have to know by now the bf didn't do it. They would have tracked his car along the highways and they would have had video of him entering the community. They've tested his hands, his car etc.. It's pretty much what many of us said early on. They fought, he left, she snapped. Seems like the relationship was on the way to being over.

This reminds me of the Rebecca Zahau "suicide" where the richest guy in town called in his brother to put a hit on the girlfriend, who "killed" herself by hog-tieing herself with elaborate sailor knots(brother was a sailor) and then jumped off of the balcony. The police immediately cleared the husband and everyone else, and called it a suicide. Eventually Zahau's family got a civili settlement from the whole thing. Anyway this is how it goes when you're the richest guy in town and have some serious shit to hide.
Oh and then there's the Davey Blackburn case, where he got some ganster ghoodrats to kill his wife and the PD was all too happy not to look for who hired them, because they were on an anti-gang PR campaign and recovering from several scandals. The crime scene was scrubbed literally the next day, and Pastor Davey collected enough insurance money to go from middle class to upper middle class, without any real job.

Wasn't Pastor Davey "cleared 110%" or something, the next day, because he was "at the gym" during the murders? No further investigation because the hitmen were black teenagers.
Anyway if this wasn't a suicide I'd bet there are several accomplices. But money buys a lot if everyone can keep cool for long enough.

They won't give it up, R536. Nothing else is going on in their lives, they're bored and depressed and they have nothing better to do than to come up with conspiracy theories and accuse people of murder without evidence. She's the one with a history of domestic violence - something they conveniently forget to mention while they place the blame on everyone but Nichol.

How hard is it to fake a suicide?
by Anonymous | reply 540 | January 18, 2019 3:55 AM |
Just because something is "cultural" and "not outlandish" (having children by multiple different men) doesn't mean it's 100% positive for the children. The focus on this culture seems to be on the adults: women showing their love to the current man in their life by having a baby. The focus should be on the children, who have no choice in the matter.

Let's not be so quick to assume the boyfriend did it, R544. We have nothing resembling evidence.
All we really know is that it's about a thousand times more likely for a woman to be killed by a man with whom she has a close relationship, than for her to be the perpetrator of a murder-suicide.

Here an updated article to the one I posted previously:
Sheriff says boyfriend of woman in San Antonio triple shooting is ‘person of interest,’ but not a suspect
Nichol Leila Olsen quarreled with her boyfriend the night before she and her two daughters were found shot to death in a luxury home in a gated neighborhood near Leon Springs, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said Thursday.
“I think there’d been an argument at the very least ... and he went to another residence,” Salazar said.
That boyfriend, Charlie Wheeler, 31, is a “person of interest,” but not a suspect in the case, Salazar said in an interview with the San Antonio Express-News.
“A person of interest is just somebody that we’re interested in talking to,” Salazar said.
Wheeler is not the only person drawing such scrutiny. The sheriff’s office is looking at others as well, Salazar confirmed.
Wheeler has cooperated fully with the investigation since the day of the shootings and willingly submitted to tests scanning his hands for any traces of gunshot residue, the sheriff said. Those test results are still pending.
“We’re not calling anybody a suspect at this point,” Salazar said. I'm not calling anybody a suspect at this point,” Salazar said.
One of Wheeler’s attorneys expressed frustration with the sheriff’s comments Thursday and said there is no probable cause to indicate Wheeler committed any crime.
“We think it is regrettable that this young man is being demonized, that he’s now being publicly identified,” said San Antonio attorney Mark Stevens, one of three lawyers representing Wheeler. “He is a young man with no criminal record for violence whatsoever.
“What we would ask is that people not jump to conclusions, that they not demonize this young man who does not deserve it, that they let the professionals do their jobs and complete this investigation. And respect the privacy of presumptively innocent people and of Charlie Wheeler, who did not commit a crime here.”
Attorneys Therese Huntzinger and Patrick Hancock also are part of Wheeler’s legal team.
Wheeler has not responded to requests for comment.
Olsen, 37, and her daughters, Clark High School cheerleader Alexa Denise Montez, 16, and London Sophia Bribiescas, 10, were found dead at Wheeler’s home in the 11300 block of Anaqua Springs on the morning of Jan. 10. Olsen and her daughters lived with Wheeler at the residence, located inside a gated community in far northwest Bexar County.
Bribiescas died from a gunshot wound to her head and neck.
The three were found close together on the floor of a “common area” on the second story of the house, Salazar said. He declined to be more specific about the area where they were discovered.
A handgun was found in close proximity to Olsen’s body, he said. No suicide note was found.
Olsen’s hands also were tested for any traces of gunshot residue, Salazar said. Investigators haven’t yet received those test results.
There were no signs that anyone had forced their way inside the residence, the sheriff said.
Investigators haven’t determined the exact time of the shootings, but believe they occurred between 10 p.m. on Jan. 9 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 10.
Salazar said he currently has no reason to doubt the medical examiner’s rulings, but noted the shootings aren’t “the most clear-cut case in the world.” He said there are too many “unanswered questions.”
His investigators are pressing forward to independently verify whether Olsen’s death was a suicide and to find out who killed the children.
“I’m pushing my investigators hard because I’m just as interested as everybody else to find out what’s the truth here? What really happened?” Salazar said.
He asked anyone with information about the case or the people involved to contact the sheriff’s office by calling 210-335-6070 or sending an email to BCSOTips@bexar.org.

Nichol 's Instagram was started in August 2017, perhaps the time she moved into BF house based on the pictures.
She had a different Instagram account that has long been deleted. At that time she was friends with girls aged 24 when she was 30, @nichololsen

Why does the boyfriend have 3 lawyers is that really necessary? If I come home and my roommate has killed him self will I need to hire a legal team, I think I wouldn’t unless investigators were treating me as a suspect?
by Anonymous | reply 556 | January 18, 2019 1:00 PM |
Why wouldn't he have 3 lawyers? It's not the same as if a roommate killed themself when there are two children found murdered. If I had the money and was being accused by friends and family, I would have a slew of lawyers too. His lawyers have every right to be furious with LE. If they are as moronic as they seem, he was very smart to hire lawyers and keep his mouth shut. I think Salazar likes the attention and that's why he keeps trying to cast doubt on this murder-suicide. I hope old Charlie learned his lesson from this relationship, sometimes being judgemental is necessary.

Totally agree R557. CW seems like the only smart one in the bunch. Lawyer up, stay quiet. If he did walk in on that horrible scene, he's totally a victim in all this, too. In many ways. I'm working with a lawyer on a trust issue involving my mother. So far he hasn't charged me, but he's saved me tons of aggravation and stupidity by keeping me cool and focused on the evil trustee. He doesn't let me show anger or incriminate myself. THAT is being smart in all this. Protect yourself.

Three people shot dead in your home, one of whom is your live-in girlfriend? Yeah, you need to engage the services of a lawyer.
I'll guess how he got three. He asked his dad to to recommend a lawyer. CW calls that lawyer who in turn tells him, "I'm not a criminal defense lawyer but I know a guy". First lawyer contacts that lawyer and second lawyer mentions "This is serious so I'm going to need my associate on this." CW is freaking out so he barely notices that he has a team of three lawyers. Oh, but he'll know, he'll know when he starts getting the bills. He will look back on this later and be pissed that he was innocent and never charged but his lawyer bills will not reflect that. This poor schmuck, if he is innocent, is being put through the wringer both both emotionally and financially.

Yes, he was sensible to lawyer up, and is lucky that he and his family can afford to do so.
Because yeah, when any sensible person hears that a woman is shot to death in her home, the absolute first thought is that her male significant other did it. Simply because that's so common.

We knew it wasn't him who she assaulted since it was in 2014. There are no suspects.
The investigation is all BS. Nichol did it. It doesn't seem like that much of a mystery. Teen mom, twice divorced, probably a trail of failed relationships, 3 kids, son with a long criminal history, unhealthy relationship with a boyfriend who she was financially dependent on. I'm sure he helped the son out too, either directly with college tuition or indirectly by paying all her bills/expenses so she could help. If they split, majority of financial responsibility for the kids would fall on her once again. She wouldn't be living in such a nice house, in a upscale area. I'm sure she liked being on the arm of a big catch like CW too. She felt it was all crashing down on her. It wouldn't surprise me if she was drinking that night and that gave her liquid courage. All this 'she wouldn't do it' " she lived for her kids' yada, yada yada, is par for the course in all these cases. Nobody has a perfect life and that's all her friends have been shoveling publicly about her. She was perfect, he was horrible. 🙄

Update: "In addition to the gunshot residue tests, investigators are still waiting on the results of ballistics tests"
Why didn't ME test everything before publishing their findings? Gun shot residue is the number thing you want to test. All they saw was a gun next to her body and declared it as suicide?
CW has 3 attorneys in his corner.

Update: Attorney defends owner of Boerne-area home where bodies were found | KTSA
The attorney representing Nichol Olsen’s BF is lashing out at authorities for calling his client a ‘person of interest.’
Charlie Wheeler claims he found the bodies of Olsen and her two daughters when he returned to his home in Anaqua Springs Ranch the morning of January 10.
“There is no definition in the law of a person of interest. It means absolutely nothing. It just serves to frankly, slander a name by innuendo,” attorney Mark Stevens told KTSA News.
When asked where Wheeler was when the shootings occurred, he said,”I’m not going to tell you what his side of the story is because I don’t want this case tried in the media. Unfortunately, that’s already started,” said Stevens.
He’s also surprised that Salazar isn’t accepting the medical examiner’s ruling.
“That’s pretty surprising because I’ll bet the medical examiner knows a good deal more about that sort of thing than the sheriff does,” Stevens told KTSA News.
“It’s clear that there’s no probable cause to arrest him. It’s a very imprecise and very misleading way to describe a person,” said Stevens.

Update: Amount of gunshot residue on Nichol's hands might be telling. If she fired at least 3 shots the quantity of residue would be greater than if she just shot herself. The amount of residue on her hand would be greater from 3 - 4 shots than just one. If her hand just shows residue levels of one shot then the case for 3 murders, staged to look like murder/suicide, would be stronger.
Update: Pretty impressive that the gofundme (searching for truth) started by Nichol's friends has raised 36k+ within 24 hours. That shows a lot of confidence in their theory she didn’t commit m-s. I wouldn’t want to part with my money just to preserve someone’s reputation.

I have a question for the posters that are sleuthing... has any of her friends said what Nichol's life was before Charlie? Where did she live? Did she work elsewhere? Sounds like she worked PT, as needed, currently. How did she and Charlie meet? I feel like there are only fragments of her life being told, instead of a bigger, clearer picture.

R574, R575, Son also had charges of using a gun along with the above listed crimes. Now he was really grieving at Nichol's vigil, as noted by many of her friends.
We haven't heard for her son's father either, Nichol's 1st husband. Nor from London's father. Not saying they're POI but one would expect a statement. London's aunt has made numerous statements in support of Nichol.
Interesting that the 16-year-old's father stated that he didn't think Nichol living with her BF was the best situation for them. He included both girls in all of his statements, speaking of the 3 women as a family unit. Assuming the 2 half-sisters were very close. Still he never said words along the lines of, "his daughter." He never left out London.

R569 The ME just handles a limited number of issues regarding the bodies, like what time frame did they die in, what was the cause of death. In this case I think that he should have just said death by gunshot wounds, instead of walking out on a limb and adding suicide. And basically LE also thought that he shouldn't be saying that. He doesn't handle the gunshot residue testing, the investigators do, but he knew that the GSR results had not come back yet, but he made the statement anyway. That's pretty reckless. Also Charlie's lawyer sounds like a tool. You don't get to demand that your client is cleared in an ongoing investigation. If Charlie had nothing to do with her death, then he has nothing to worry about. Relax and the investigation run it's course.

r580 thank you. Just read a bit, but bookmarked for later. That's a great link.
r579, if he did it, of course they'll come out swinging. OTOH, if he didn't do it, they'll also come out swinging.
The problem is that they can't offer a "normal guy" defense here because they had a troubled relationship and the kids aren't his. He could be guilty of the DV the social media posts claim, and still not be the killer or even involved. Just because it's not the norm, doesn't mean it's not possible.
The other issue is if they have another prime suspect, they're not going to name him/her so they can keep investigating privately. If that's the case, they still have to investigate the BF in order to eliminate any reasonable doubt if they end up trying someone else.

I'm wondering about the video surveillance at the house. Someone on here said that it had been turned off. And then someone else who's close to Charlie said that there are no cameras in the house, just one outside at the gate and one that covers the whole driveway. So I'm wondering if that's true that those outside cameras were turned off that night. Why would they be turned off? The whole point of having cameras is to have them turned on.
The neighborhood cameras are a whole separate thing. Those would not be turned off. Usually in these type neighborhoods there is a security guard at the gate, and if you don't have a remote to open the gate, you have to go through the security guard to get in. If, and I am saying IF, Charlie sent someone to the house that night, he most likely would have given them his remote or a spare in order to bypass the security guard.

Charlie Wheeler and Nichol Olsen got into a massive fight the night before she was found dead (according to close friends and family).
Her oldest daughter FB messaged her BF and said she was scared of Charlie Wheeler.
Charlie Wheeler is the heir to the Wheeler Southern Dynasty of mineral rights and rodeos, yes, Charlie is a bazillionaire.
His Hispanic, live-in, hairdresser girlfriend with 3 kids was not well liked by his family, even though they’d been together for quite sometime. Friends of Cliff and Cynthia Wheeler have reported over hearing them call her a spick (derogetory term for a Mexican) and did every possible thing to get him to leave her.
Charlie has “the Devil in him”, some have said. Not because he’s obviously evil or a lunatic, but because he looks so normal. Well, that is until the rage hits. People have said his eyes are alien when he’s angry. He’s capable of anything. In fact, little Charlie Wheeler was kind of a douche to his ex girlfriend Brittany Petch, who he physically harmed more than once.
Charlie is a hunter, born and bread. 80% of his photos are touting wild game with blood pouring for their chests. Yea, Charlie was interesting. He liked to chase things. Hunting had a darker pleasure than just sport, no, hunting is Charlie’s kryptonite, and God help you if you went hunting that night.
Charlie found Nichol’s body next day, allegedly, at 9am after having “slept somewhere else@. Instead of calling an ambulance or police, charlie called his dad. His dad, who lives an hour away.
What happened next? A glowing out pour of millions of people in the giant, San Antonio metropolitan area shined a light on this amazing women, and sadness for the deceased daughters.
Charlie? Charlie hired a PR firm to leak NEGATIVE information about Nichol, but has yet to issue any kind of statement, removed all of their mutual FB posts and has been mute. No outrage for the murder, no sadness. This guy is not shy. He has businesses, sales calls, and more photos at a group event than the Backstreet Boys. Charlie’s acting a little guilty.
Wanna know who else he hired? The Bexar County Medical Examiner. I mean, it’s not like they’ve been paid to give contradictory information before, right? Might’ve lost a body that turned up in the desert once or twice, but certainly not fraud, right? Wait, the sweet, Texas town medical examiners, were on high profile cases like the Phil Spector murder, Zimmerman case, and Colonel Shue’s bizarre assassination?
Look up Vincent DiMaio and Randall Frost and you tell me if this young lady committed suicide or not.

Different site, private messaging, original source would be FB or a different location:
" Thirdly, let’s take in consideration that one of Wheeler’s ex girlfriend’s made a statement that he used to chase her around the house with a gun! And she would have to lock herself in a closet. "
The latest I heard re those discussions is that there was an ex-girlfriend who claims CW used to run around after her with a gun when they would fight, or something similar. Really crazy stuff, but at the same time if you check out CW’s mother's profile, Cindy wheeler on his friends list, the family looks so tight knit and approachable.
I’m sure they weren’t thrilled with her unconventional background, as they appear very much so.
There’s also a video shown on her aunt;s page, with Charlie sitting amongst her relatives playing some guessing game in a circle. That was interesting. Her name is Benessa Richardson. She posts a lot so you have to scroll down to Monday at 12:50 pm

R590- haha, that thought actually crossed my mind. It's doubtful though.
R591- I believe none of that post. Some of it is regurgitated and twisted around, for example, the daughter texted her bf that her mother and CW were fighting not that she was scared of him. Most of it sounds like fiction to further an agenda. Smear Nichol? All I've heard is how wonderful she is. All I've heard about Charlie is that he's an abuser. If he has a PR firm working for him, he should demand a refund. If he was so abusive, what does that say about Nichol as a mother placing and keeping her kids in that home? People are out for this man's blood. Some of the stories I've read about him are ridiculous, including the story about him chasing a gf around with a gun. Where is the original source? CW is not the one with multiple divorces and a criminal past.
R593- I just saw the video. He looked very uncomfortable in the few seconds he was filmed.
My advice to Charlie is to get rid of the house ASAP. Give it away, if that's what it takes. Who the hell is going to want to live there anyway? Then move far, far, far away from that place and sever every tie that was Nichol related. Sad to say, but this dude got a lucky escape.

There needs to be a TV Movie with all of these conflicting but emotionally charged posts:
Could be rumors but there is a lot of consistent talk about BF and his ways on friends' FB. There is also a comment from Bravo TV “Married to Medicine” star Dr. Monica Patel. She writes about an episode at a hotel on their anniversary.
Per his friend, he didn’t have interior security cameras. At least that’s what his family told her. Friends of Nichol's who have all been in the house say he did. Interesting the family told the friend wrong information. Why? Or were the interior security cameras turned off?

Another informative post follows: Charlie’s father's name is Forrest. Cindy is his mother. Cliff is Forrest's brother. (Correcting my earlier post.)
Brittany Petch, FB, is the girl pictured in a Wheller family photo. There's not any pictures of Nichol on Cindy’s FB. Yes the picture of Petch was 4-years-old but the fact it's still posted, and Nichol's picture isn't really stands out. She had to know that there was zero chance of a happily ever after. It was just a matter of how long before it ended and she had to move out.
Therefore other posters comments that Nichol suicided because she was asked to move out does not make any sense. It would not have been too startling if BF had wanted to end it because she knew his influential family did not like her at all. Absolutely no photos of her on the Wheeler family site? SMH.
Many of Nichol's friends say in fact that it was she who wanted to end it.

Yeah, the statement that there aren't any cameras in the house came from one of Charlie's relatives.

596- you usually can't see all FB pictures unless you're a friend. She might have some or she may not. Look, I'm sure they weren't thrilled with their son's choice of GF, that doesn't mean they hated her. Charlie seems like a man who does what he wants. If he was really as big of a dick as people are claiming, he would have kicked her and her kids out that night instead of leaving himself. I personally don't think he gave her a deadline to move out. Most decent people wouldn't demand someone with children move out the next day or even in a week. I think the relationship was unhealthy and heading for a break-up and she couldn't handle it. She would lose an upscale lifestyle that she got used to or maybe she was just fed up with all the fighting. I doubt it was one thing that set her off, but culmination of things that were wrong in her life.
Based on their backgrounds, they were a very mismatched couple. They probably rushed into living together when they were still in the passionate beginning stage. I don't for a minute believe anything her friends say. Nichol was never going to be the one to end the relationship.
