Sexual misconduct! Inappropriate touching!
Kevin Spacey is charged with SEXUAL ASSAULT!

Isn't this the case involving that reporter's kid?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 24, 2018 5:38 PM |
Yes I think so.

Merry Christmas, Kev!
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 24, 2018 5:42 PM |
r1, r2 If either of you bothered to read the linked article you would have learned that yes, this is in fact in regards to journalist Heather Unruh's son getting the Donald Trump treatment.
As Unruh told reporters today, her “son was a starstruck, straight 18-year-old young man who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator or that he was about to become his next victim.” Spacey reportedly bought the teen “drink after drink” before assaulting him. “Spacey stuck his hand inside my son’s pants and grabbed his genitals,” the former anchor said. The 18-year-old “panicked, he froze. He was intoxicated.” When a woman caught up with Unruh’s son and told him to leave the Nantucket bar, he fled to his grandmother’s home.
I love he she specifies "straight" as if that somehow makes the assault worse.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 24, 2018 5:47 PM |
She may think her son is straight, but I’d bet Kevin’s finely tuned gaydar knows better.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 24, 2018 5:55 PM |
r4, it was probably because she knew douchebags would say he "really wanted it"
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 24, 2018 5:57 PM |
I love the description of the scene, like the son was about to be murdered in a pagan ritual, and the good Samaritan tells him to "run! RUNNN!!!" and he dramatically flees, dogs and bullets whipping by him as he scrambles to safety at his grandmother's house. Duh-RAMA!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 24, 2018 5:58 PM |
Agree with R6.

by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 24, 2018 6:13 PM |
People on Youtube seem to love it.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 24, 2018 6:17 PM |
R14 maybe that is why Spacey is so deluded. He thinks online commentators accurately reflect the public's opinion about him.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 24, 2018 6:19 PM |
sorry but I didn't read the article. Did this happen in a bar? He was allowed in the bar? They don't check ID?
Kevin is so rough...he's just like trump, grabbing them by the genitals.
A gent, he is not.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 24, 2018 6:22 PM |
IS HE PESTERING YOU?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 24, 2018 6:22 PM |
Someone on youtube summarized the case quite well
First of all, Heather Unruh's son was 18, so a legal adult and not a minor. Second, from what I gathered about the case when it first broke, her son lied to KS, telling him he was 21 so he could buy him drinks. Third, I did some research on the nightclub they were at, and apparently it's a very popular hookup spot for gay men. According to the locals, you know what you're getting into if you go into a place like this. So he was accused of making an aggressive pass at someone he thought was of age in a gay hookup spot?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 24, 2018 6:22 PM |
Strange video.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 24, 2018 6:23 PM |
Him and Louis CK should do a movie together. There's probably an audience for that crap.

Bitch cannot even own his BALDNESS.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 24, 2018 6:24 PM |
R19 if that is the case then Spacey is crazy to do this video. He should just have his lawyer present his side of the story in court. The video is very stupid considering he has several OTHER cases pending against him.

by Anonymous | reply 39 | December 24, 2018 7:05 PM |
Further proof that Trump is a liar. When you're a star, they do not let you do "anything."
by Anonymous | reply 40 | December 24, 2018 7:06 PM |
AmI the only one who doesn't buy that Spacey just suddenly grabbed his dick out of nowhere? In the middle of a public restaurant? I would wager there was some form of flirting on the kid's part or at least a fun tone to the evening -- Mommy (who annoys the fuck out of me) probably told him to "be nice to the man who can do so much for you."
Or, indeed, a gay son who is fighting it, God knows a lot of us went through that through the years and blamed others for "attacks" we participated in willingly. But that was before the lovely MeToo bullshit movement.
Either way, it still adds up to Gay Panic and no gay man with an ounce of sense should be enjoying this.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | December 24, 2018 7:07 PM |
Gee, I have done some groping in bars...perhaps I should be arrested?
by Anonymous | reply 42 | December 24, 2018 7:07 PM |
The last movie I saw of his, Horrible Bosses (2011) I stopped watching after 10 min. Same with The Men Who Stare at Goats and 21, in both cases I left the theatre after about 15 min. American Beauty someone gave me the video, same with The Shitting News - I hated both movies.
The only films of his I saw at the theatre were 1995-1997: Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil , L.A. Confidential, Se7en and Usual Suspects. That's it. Never saw anything else. The first two I never even knew he was in, for obvious reasons.
Swimming with Sharks I saw later and enjoyed, but it doesn't necessarily play in his favour. Glengarry Glen Ross mostly on youtube. Haven't seen the whole thing.
The only film of his that I can say is a favourite is WORKING GIRL, but that can't be a Kevin Spacey movie.
So, mostly, I don't like him.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | December 24, 2018 7:07 PM |
I totally believe Spacey groped him but the victim needs to keep his mom out of it - he was an 18 year old in a BAR illegally..
by Anonymous | reply 44 | December 24, 2018 7:16 PM |
It's a known gay bar? Not when I've been there... maybe off season?
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 24, 2018 7:22 PM |
Also, it's a packed bar... lines to get in. Everyone goes there.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 24, 2018 7:25 PM |
R43 thanks for sharing whatever that was 🙄
by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 24, 2018 7:27 PM |
I'll be shredded for this but honestly... I have been groped before in drunken situations and it was not that traumatic for me personally. Obviously everyone has different pressure points but I can't imagine going to the cops and pressing charges over being groped in a bar. Again, just my personal experience, others obviously feel differently.

Kevin has been know to just grab people. According to the stories that came out when the shit hit the fan.
I agree with the poster, he was good in those bad, evil roles coz it wasn't "acting"

by Anonymous | reply 56 | December 24, 2018 8:13 PM |
Maybe the video is supposed to help him with some insanity claim? Cuz, putting that out in a former character is pretty odd. Is, was and will always be a freak. He and Cos overplayed their hands. Clinton too, but he may never be held to any accountability.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | December 24, 2018 8:17 PM |
Space is a fucking predator. I've always gotten a desperate vibe from him. The story Anthony Rapp told was heartbreaking and disturbing.
This story sounds all kinds of wonky, though. It's not helped by the fact that the man who is claiming assault is letting his Mommy talk for him. I read that he snap chatted the whole incident to his girlfriend. What? he doesn't sound traumatized. the Mom, however, seems terrified her son might be gay. The fact that the mother has to clarify that her son is Straight (lol) is telling. Because, see, if it were a gay man, I'm sure she'd be the first person to say, "Well, what did he expect?"
by Anonymous | reply 58 | December 24, 2018 8:26 PM |
It's obvious that Kevin Spacey was the only one who made HOC worth watching.
I had looked forward to House of Cards because I loved the original. After five minutes of Spacey's terrible accent, I turned it off. I do not understand what people see in him as an actor. That said, I hope he beats these charges. They sound like bullshit.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | December 24, 2018 8:28 PM |
I'm not saying what Kevin Spacey allegedly did was right. However, if lied about his age, Spacey may not have thought he was doing anything wrong other than being aggressive. As a the "21 year-old" that he said he was, the kid presumably was not in danger of his life. He was not going to be blackmailed. He was not going to be denied a raise in pay or lose his job. So, he's objecting to an older gay man being sexually aggressive? Sorry, but as uncomfortable as that may be, it happens sometimes in a bar. This 21 year-old needed to leave or "run" as he was advised to do. And chalk it up to the fact that he met what he considered to be a creepy guy.
If the kid told Kevin Spacey that he was 17, well then, that's an entirely different story. But if he said he was 21, well then, he met someone who touched him inappropriately. Move on. Get help. Seek counseling. But a court case? No.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | December 24, 2018 8:34 PM |
Good, I want him to fight back big time against this shit. 'Bout time.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | December 24, 2018 8:35 PM |
The mother is going to be mortified and humiliated beyond words when she finds out she has a gay son. And the kid is is going embarrassed beyond words when he decides to come out and admit that he's gay.
Charging Spacey with sexual assault is only going to make the coming out process for this kid next to impossible. The mother is creating a monster. Honey, you have a gay kid. Calm the fuck down and accept it.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | December 24, 2018 8:40 PM |

R28 - Well it was according to the comments in the Boston Globe article when this story first was reported in Nov-17. And it was many commenters who mentioned that.
One thing Kev is guilty of is having a shitty taste in men. None of his accusers, including Rapp, are easy on the eyes.

Nah, I believe Spacey just grabbed his pussy out of nowhere, with no encouragement. Kevin has a reputation for that kind of thing.
That said, this also isn't "sexual assault". I mean yeah, it sort of is, and yes, even in aggressive passes it's very not the norm to actually stick your hand down someone's pants.
What it is is Kevin being himself: a creepy 50-something who dgaf about social norms & just forces himself on young'uns cause he wants 'em. We've all met that guy at some point in our teens/20s/30s.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | December 24, 2018 9:52 PM |
You have any links about that pool table, R73?
He had a foundation for young actors, too.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | December 24, 2018 9:54 PM |
So, Spacey's been known to just grab young guys 14-22 for years, corner them in bedrooms, get them drunk, try to make out with them. We had threads about this for the past 15 years, it's been a known secret, and now a dozen guys have gone on record with the "he hit on me" "he groped me out of nowhere" "he got me drunk" "I had to shove him off me" stories etc.
So....what are the odds Spacey's been doing this for 3 decades and he never *actually* raped anyone? All these stories are from guys who pushed him away & fled; all said they were taken by surprise. What are the odds there was a teen/twink he did this too who was frozen by shock instead -- and so Spacey took it further?
by Anonymous | reply 82 | December 24, 2018 10:00 PM |

Nobody at a bar asks someone if they can touch their dick. They react to signals. Admittedly, being drunk can interfere with reading signals, but judging from what actually happened, this young man gave no indication that he didn't want it.

First of all, this kid was 18. He shouldn't have been in the bar for three more years, but he was a legal adult, albeit a naive rather stupid one.
Unless this kid never left his bedroom, had a crush on anyone or experienced any kind of sexual feelings, he was old enough to know that two people talking in a bar for a fairly lengthy period may cause something to happen. Now perhaps Spacey could have been less aggressive and put his hand on the kid's knee or thigh and not groped his cock if that's what happened. But this kid and his mother want to go to court because genitals may have been involved? What if someone had picked a fight with the kid in the bar? That's assault and battery. Would the kid and his mother be going to court, or would they be quietly trying to forget that a bar fight even happened providing that no real bodily harm occurred?

What is wrong with you people? First it is not a gay bar. Its a restaurant with a bar and sounds like the hot spot in Nantucket. Secondly the kid was being a kid and wanted to drink alcohol so he lied to Spacey and said he was of age. That is normal kid behavior. He wanted to get drunk not get fucked by Kevin Spacey. If he was truly looking to experiement a 17 year old isnt going to pick Kevin Spacey.
Spacey is a 59 old used up bag of bones who should not be spending one second having drinks with a 17 year old boy or one that said he was 21. I am glad the mother is making an issue of this as Spacey has done this sort of crap for 30 years and has gotten away with it and he needs to pay the piper.
I would suggest that many of the readers on this sight need to re examine their moral viewpoints and you need to leave kids alone and if you have to get somebody bombed to grope them then you are a pretty desperate individual.

The ‘director one’ was actually Richard Dreyfuss’s son and the director was actually Kevin. Kevin groped Richard’s son while Richard was in the room.
There’s also the sleepover story I’m having trouble remembering. He was invited to someone’s home to sleep off a night of drinking and was found in that person’s son’s/younger brother’s room putting the moves on the young guy.

But, I guess it's nice to know that if you even touch a male in a questionable manner, you get charged. If you grope and/or rape 30+ women, including some underage ones, you get to be president.

R94 Yep that crap is driving me crazy because I heard it not only on DL. Like if you are gay or bi, you should be happy when you are receiving any sort of sexual attention from anyone because... hell if I know the reason. Also some of the cases against Spacey talk about him trying to harrass people like barmens or assistants, those who can lose their job over rejecting a celebrity. He's just a creepy perv who either can't get laid despite being rich and famous or loves the feeling of power.
by Anonymous | reply 152 | December 25, 2018 1:19 AM |
No, Spacey should not have groped the young man whether he was 18 or 21 years old or whether he is gay or straight. However, he told Spacey he was 21. He allowed Spacey to buy him several drinks. The young man did not leave. He was getting drunk. Is this any different than when two people no matter who they are meet in a bar? The mother says her son was star struck. The mother is naive or in denial.
This is going to be sooooooo awkward when the young man comes out as gay--and he will, maybe at trial, maybe a few years from now. The kid hung around because he lied and was meeting a big movie star, and the gay vibe was in the air. The young man did not go from sober to drunk immediately. And Spacey probably did not go from doing nothing to touch the young man's dick immediately. There was probably some touching by Spacey on the arm, on the hand, on the leg...and then on the dick. And the mother wants to think that her son was simply star struck? Is it assault? I guess so if that's what assault is. Did this lying, fake, "21 year-old" give the okay for this to happen? Yes. He got caught up in something he couldn't handle. Was it wrong? Yes. Should Spacey go to jail? No, not for this. There are other cases where Spacey assaulted someone who didn't hang around and wasn't star struck.
Sure, the young man was perhaps traumatized or nervous that night and the next day. Because he was not 21; he was 18, but still an adult. Was Spacey going to kidnap him? No. He just touched your dick. The young man was more than star struck. He just can't admit it yet. And the mother needs to back off. Sweetie, your son is gay. Stuff happens when young gay boys take on more than they can handle. It's called life.

R153 Even if he wore a tshirt saying "I'm 100% gay and fucked a man last night" it's not a reason to grab his genitals without invitation. Even if he is 38 not 18. And if someone does that and you turn around and sock him in the jaw, you'll be the one charged with assault next.
by Anonymous | reply 155 | December 25, 2018 1:26 AM |
R153 sounds like the fan fiction teenagers write about their heroes. Spacey is a dirty old chancer who had the shine of celebrity to ease his way and to allow him more success than the average groper, which is why the sad cases of DL admire him so much as they aspire to the level of average groper. Spacey is finished no matter what you creeps wish for.

by Anonymous | reply 158 | December 25, 2018 1:31 AM |
R155, what is "the invitation"? Would someone literally have to say, "Grab my dick" or something like that? There are very few situations where sexual foreplay and heavy flirting are done explicitly. It's all things said certain ways, or looks, or smaller touches escalating, or standing closer and closer, etc. So, really, at what point does the dick touching begin in the lead up to sexual situations? Do you really expect overt verbal messages that are as direct as 'touch my dick'?

Like someone else said, Spacey should go to jail, but not for this. This seems like a clear cut case of a creepy desperate man being aggressive, a young guy who didn't want to believe he was gay, and a narcissistic mother who thinks everything is ultimately about her. hope she realizes that what she's doing is pushing him further and further into the closet.

The only indication we have that that is the case is the word of mommy-dearest. And, honestly, even that story says that he supposedly grabbed him twice. If it was such an unpleasant, unwanted, and traumatizing experience, why did he wait around for the second time?
I'd wager the real story is that the girlfriend mentioned above who said she saw video of Spacey touching this guy's crotch went and told mommy-dearest what she saw. When confronted, the closeted gay son was suddenly "traumatized".

I think a lot of the people here recognize that this is bullshit because they've lived it themselves on both sides. It's not black and white and those of you who think it is are going to get into trouble one day when you hit a little too hard on some young stud in a bar.

Um,no, he didn't find it funny and you know nothing about Heather Unruh if you think she is homophobic. She's a gay-friendly liberal.

The mom is looking for a career boost or a pay out. She was a newscaster who
Heather Unruh (the mom) grabbed headlines earlier this year after she criticized sexism in television news when she stepped down after 15 years in the market.
Just last month, Heather accused a well-known actor of allegedly assaulting a friend. It has been revealed today, that the accused actor is none other than Kevin Spacey and Unruh’s friend happens to be her own son. Unruh explained at the time of her tweet that the Harvey Weinstein scandal had emboldened her to come forward.
She began her broadcasting career in Binghamton, NY before moving on to Birmingham, AL and then Oklahoma City. After joining WCVB in 2001, she anchored breaking news coverage for nearly every major event, from the Boston Marathon bombing and the conviction of Boston mobster James Whitey Bulger to the resignation of Cardinal Law and elevation of Cardinal Sean O’Malley to Archbishop.
On social media, Unruh calls herself an “award winning Journalist, Aspiring Filmmaker, Animal Lover, Family Gal, Human Rights Advocate!”
The son lied about his age and spent enough time with Spacey to have 5 to 10 drinks. I'm sure their behavior wasn't at all like a business meeting; they were drinking, laughing, confiding, and perhaps flirting; the son knew what he was doing and in fact furthered the interaction. The clincher of this whole smelly accusation is that the guy recorded Spacey for 3 minutes while he was being touched. He and his mom sound either like they're slimy and out for money or they're on a crusade to be the ones to take Spacey down. The guy also loses credibility with me by calling some touching "rape". Rape is a serious, violent event, and being groped - while sometimes not pleasant or wanted - is definitely NOT rape. I bet the mom is upset that if it were to get out that her son consensually hooked up with KS and she didn't pounce on it as an assault, she'd look bad.

R218, Not long before making this incident public. Heather Unruh quit her anchor position at Boston's WCVB-TV when a much more popular competing female anchor was hired and given the station's choice 6:00 and 11:00 broadcasts. Heather is definitely using this incident to further her own career.

I'm Spacey's age. I am not a perv. I would never do this. I don't even like young guys. However, this case is not as cut and dry as some of you make it seem. If Spacey just walked up and within a couple of minutes groped the guy, then he's flat out guilty. But Spacey is going to mount a defense that says the young guy accepted his advances along the way such as touching his arm, his knee, his thigh before eventually touching his cock. I'm not blaming the victim, but if any of the jurors were to believe that the young guy accepted Spacey's preliminary touching advances and willingly accepted several drinks--and then lied about his age so that Spacey thought he was 21 and not 18, well then, there is plenty of room for reasonable doubt. Grabbing the guy's cock may be wrong regardless of the reception Spacey received then or with past assaults even if they were hanging out chatting and/or flirting. But again, it's all about reasonable doubt. Spacey's defense may be able to prove (even if it's not true) that there was more than just being star struck happening.
The problem for Spacey ( and what his defenders ignore ) is the sheer scale of his touching/groping and its context, he used his position to bully guys and make constant unwanted sexual advances, places he worked had to be 'Spacey-proofed' whereby his type of guy would be kept out of his orbit, the guy is a cast iron creep and it's shameful that the frau-hating, closet cases of DL see him as a friend
I can't believe all the Spacey defenders here. It's pretty disgusting
Spacey is the gay man's Bill Cosby, getting away with shit for years because of his so-called power. Maybe this case will empower others to file charges or lawsuit against him. The man is retiring with riches, he needs to be behind bars like his friend Bill.

R274 A number of people on this thread have indeed stated that they do not know of the Club Car's reputation, as you imply everyone on the island does. And these people are posting on a gay site, so probably they're not just sheltered. So maybe you're wrong ?

R281, if a man buys me a drink I owe him nothing. If I allow or encourage that same man to buy me multiple drinks late into the evening and I then go outside to smoke with him, it would not be a shock to me if the man tries something on. Obviously this doesn’t mean that he or any other man has the right to assault or harm me. The complainant in this case sounds extremely naive and incapable of setting even nominal boundaries. I used to drink underage in bars and did some pretty stupid/risky things when I was younger but I have difficulty imagining a scenario wherein I am Snapchatting on my phone whilst I am being sexually assaulted.

Do you have a set of things you'd expect a kid to do "whilst" a predator is sticking his hands down his pants ? And R287, I'm sure Spacey went to the bar and ordered two drinks at a time. Pretty simple in a crowded bar.

by Anonymous | reply 293 | December 25, 2018 6:20 AM |
I don't know if it's any different for women, but gay men who are attracted to eachother will get touchy after hours of flirting.
by Anonymous | reply 294 | December 25, 2018 6:23 AM |
Setting nominal boundaries could include things like saying ‘No thanks’ to offers of further drinks; refusing invitations to follow the person to a second more private location, whether that’s an alley outside a bar or a party taking place elsewhere; telling that person to stop when the person subjects you to unwanted touching; or indeed simply walking away if the person is making you feel uncomfortable in any way. This is very basic personal safety information that every young person should be aware of.
Failing to set boundaries does not mean that a victim is to blame for the actions of a predator; it just makes the predator’s work easier for them. The takeaway is that it’s a good idea to learn how basic boundaries work before going out into the big bad world where there are unscrupulous people who can exploit you.
by Anonymous | reply 295 | December 25, 2018 6:24 AM |
R288 I don't know what documents you're referring to, but if its the report on Boston 10, that is not the kid reporting anything, it's his sister and girlfriend. And why is it so odd that he recorded what was happening ? Don't you think the women Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein encountered wish to God now that they had video ? R294 You're projecting again. Yes, some day a cute teenage boy will insist that you touch him there. It really will happen.

You should read R159's post again. It's not the case of exploiting someone who is not setting proper boundaries, it's about someone deliberately inviting that kind of attention. Straight people have done the same thing to entrap gay men before it was considered a hate crime.

His mother said he was "star struck."
(The young man was blinded by the light of a thousand suns.) It's going to disappoint the mother when she finds out her son was kind of flirting with Kevin and got involved with something he was unequipped to handle at 18 because he lied and told Kevin he was 21. No, he should not have been groped. But he should not be bringing charges against Spacey for this. The young man has blurred the lines and muddied the waters by his own actions.

I doubt it. Spacey put his hands down his pants and touched his genitals. Maybe he was flirting but it sounded like it was uninvited and his bf said he was drunk, probably not aware of what was happening.
I served in a jury where the man was charged with battery against his ex-girlfriend. She had no bruises, scratches or obvious injuries from the photos. She wasn't even there to be a witness against him. There was a woman who noticed the fight they were having and saw the man strike the woman. There were 3 things that would convict him of battery: if they were in a relationship, if he threatened her and if he even touched her. Not slapped or hit but even a slight touch on their person in a threatening manner. The jury was stumped because the victim was not even there and the photos showed the woman smiling. What the prosecution had was the witness who saw the threatening behavior and the fact that he touched the victim. We ended up convicting the poor guy but felt bad about it.
Assault is probably unwanted contact of a sexual nature. The prosecution will probably bring out witnesses who claim the boy was drunk, not aware of what was happening and saw Spacey put his hand in his pants. They will probably bring out all his friends and family to testify how upset he was afterwards. How does Spacey defend himself against that? Say that the guy was wildly flirting with him and giving him signals? That would be hard to prove especially with his history of unwanted sexual groping which is assault. It sounds like a slam dunk case to me
by Anonymous | reply 308 | December 25, 2018 7:21 AM |
The law is very specific. People can flirt and get drunk, get a little handsy with their clothes on but putting your hand inside someone's pants to touch their genitals without their invitation or consent is a violation and therefore sexual assault. The Spacey defenders who say it was the boy's fault because he was so flirtatious don't know how the law works. The prosecution will most likely use their big guns against him just to make an example that he can't get away with shit like this just because he used to be a big star.

I don't believe much of these attention-seeking allegations.
I don't believe the allegation that someone can reach down and fondle the young liar's genitals. I might believe that you can get a hand down the BACK of someone's pants but not so much the FRONT.
There's more space in the curve of the back to get you hand in. It's more difficult to get down the front of someone's pants.

R317 You can put your hand down the front of someone's pants IF you put your drink down, use one hand to grip the waistband belt and then used the second hand to place it inside.
All this takes time. And the recipient has to be WILLING to allow the two hands to manipulate him. It's easier to slip one hand down the back of pants.

The soft tissue on men's stomachs naturally swell forwards in a convex shape (even muscle-bound, fat-free men's stomachs swell forward). And their backs arch forward enabling a much better grasp from behind.
Try it!

Anyone who thinks Spacey is innocent has clearly never worked in the entertainment industry. Sharing Spacey horror stories is practically a first day of rehearsal rite of passage in London theatre. EVERYONE has one. Just a few months ago I was at a party marking the last performance of my West End play and we all wound up swapping our Spacey stories. I know one attractive youngish gay man (now famous) who worked with Spacey who was basically completely ignored by him, and it's practically a running joke in the industry that he's the only man in theatre Spacey's never harassed.

There's a generation now who want all the privileges of adulthood with none of the responsibility.
They are very disingenuous. Waltzing around in bras at 'Slut Walks' one minute, screaming of 'trauma' when someone ogles them the next.
Some facts of life: Most men want sex - a lot of sex. They go looking for sex. They look around for people to have sex with. They approach people that they decide they want sex with. Men that want sex with you will approach you.
When they approach you, you have a choices: pretend you don't understand that they want sex with you, fail to make that clear, fail to remove yourself, fail to refuse drinks /drugs / money / offers of lifts / offers of work when you know they want sex with you and are offering these things in exchange for sex, or, have sex with them if you are attracted to them, or, if you find them physically a turn off but decide to go through with it for the drinks etc. It's called being an ADULT and living in the ADULT world.
The police don't patrol bars, workplaces, public transport, clubs, etc looking to rap men who are looking for sex on the knuckles. WISE UP and stop acting like children lost in the forest.

Many are making anonymous accusations online. Knowing he won't be able to legally challenge all of it. I have zero doubt that Spacey oversteps the mark, and it's certainly looking like he's broken some laws, but I want more than anon twitter accusations to determine whether someone is treated as a criminal or not. Anyone can post anything these days and have thousands read it and repost it. It's out of control. Posting of your 'trauma' should not replace seeking legal redress if someone commits a crime against you. Fight for the court system to be improved for victims. Don't feed the social media machine and help create a world in which lives can be destroyed through untested, un-scrutinised, anon gossip.

Why does the thought of "old men" in particular touching another person's genitals (gasp!) rile you so much? An unwanted sexual advance is the same however old or young the evil predator is. That's why I think we should amputate all hands at birth and everyone's dirty pillows should be washed daily in the presence of the Lord.

"Some facts of life: Most men want sex - a lot of sex. They go looking for sex. They look around for people to have sex with. They approach people that they decide they want sex with. Men that want sex with you will approach you."
And herein lies the problem. Victims are treating these predators as human beings, when in reality they should be treated like the stray dogs they really are. Get a broom, get a baseball bat, whatever, but brush them off as you would a stray dog trying to hump your leg. If someone had clubbed Spacey with a baseball bat years ago, this all could have been avoided. Same with Harvey Weinstein.

Now everything becomes sexual assault, or rape, and every guy who likes younger partners become sexual predators and pedophiles. We're throwing these words around freely nowadays. Every touch becomes a life-changing traumatizing event. What's happening to our society? I guess everyone should go out wearing oven mitts.

Human beings are crude, imperfect, and sexual. Spacey is a nasty piece of work if - IF - it's true that he roofies guys and attacks them when they can't defend themselves, That's criminal psycho behaviour. Fuck him, if it's true. And fuck him if he misbehaves around minors.
However. There is a worrying trend at work here in which hysteria is growing up around normal male gay and het sexual behaviour, that includes making passes, proposing sex, flirting, touching of any kind, in any situation, if the behaviour is unwanted. It is not illegal to be sexual. I think what we have here is a huge number of people who were abused as kids, who have never been treated for that, and who cannot handle sexual behaviour, of any kind, no matter how normal / non-illegal. They panic, and freak out, and start talking about 'trauma'. I also think it's highly ironic that this new mood of increasing puritanism walks hand in hand with a culture drowning in extreme, practically unchecked, pornography.

I've told this story before, but there's a successful, quite young British theatre director who tells a story about being an assistant or something on a show with Spacey when he was first starting out, and Spacey completely ignored him until the last day when he cornered the younger man, did a full-on gorilla power stance over him, and said, "I'm gonna fuck you. I don't know when. I don't know where. But one day, I'm gonna fuck you." Then walked out.
The director tells this story all the time and evidently regards it as baffling and amusing, but that gives a good insight into the kind of man Spacey was.

It should be crystal clear by how that nobody really gives a shit about women and gay men being assaulted an abused. The only predators taken to task are the aging Matt Lauers and Charlie Roses and the no longer powerful Weinstein, aka people that no longer bring in the ratings or are long in the tooth. Les Moonves was shut canned because CBS was no longer the ratings darling it was. Meanwhile, Bryan Singer is being protected, Josh Brolin still has a career, Sean Penn is still working; etc.
This case is fucking bogus. The Mom is doing this for personal gain of some kind. Meanwhile, her son is hiding in the shadows letting Mommy fight his battles because he doesn't want to come out. There are a plethora of stories out there about what a disgusting pedophile Spacey is, but this was the only one to result in charges. know why? Because law enforcement isn't trying very hard to find victimes because they involve gay men.
by Anonymous | reply 399 | December 25, 2018 2:39 PM |
I agree with the Bryan Singer take. He gets to stay in Hollywood because he consistently makes movies that gross 9 figures.
I think Spacey is guilty as sin but there is a strain of homophobia in our culture. No one got hit harder on social media during metoo than Spacey, even though other men did just as many horrible things to women. But I guess to the public, men chasing women is par for the course, while men chasing other men is icky. The reaction to the Dwight Howard story only confirmed this.

Good for them that they're still working. Last time Hoffman made a film that I went to see was 10+ years ago, and it was for Emma Thompson playing a lesbian more than anything else. As for Stallone, he's niche - apart from his fans nobody cares.

I went to Mardi Gras around 1980 or so,and did the bar crawl for most of the night. I was wearing a pair of Daisy Dukes and a white tank top,and when I woke up the next day my ass was a mass of bruises from guys pinching and grabbing it. As were my nipples. I guess in retrospect I was raped a 1000 times! Who can I sue ? What is to become of me ? All the memories flooding in from that horror filled night have rendered me catatonic! WAH ! WAH !

The young man's mother definitely seems to have a problem with the idea that her son is gay and went out to the bar looking for cock. The way she looked at the camera at that news conference and said "Shame on you, Kevin Spacey!" she may as well have been saying to her son "Being gay is shameful!" which is why she seems to constantly emphasize the fact her son is STRAIGHT at every opportunity.

The video is surprisingly brave (or reckless). He's coming out fighting and he's using his talent and his most famous character in a layered message to his fans and his detractors. Whichever way you look at it, it's extremely bold and should be applauded as a rare instance of tenacity in an otherwise bland and acquiescent culture.
by Anonymous | reply 427 | December 25, 2018 5:33 PM |
I think the "that would be easy line" and "confessing it all" refers to his sexuality. When he says nothing is so simple in politics and in life, he is talking about how Hollywood typically discourages actors from coming out of the closet, especially around the time he became famous. But it also indicates that if he had come out earlier, there would have been less speculation about his private life and potential crimes, which he reminds us "he didn't do".
The other interesting thing is his playing by the rules comment. House of Cards was the first big online hit and considered a risk at the time. The "you loved it" comment is referring to the success of HOC. The "we all said what we wanted line" is, I believe, a reference to speaking out about his abuse, but I'm not sure.
Anyone else try to deconstruct the video?
by Anonymous | reply 428 | December 25, 2018 5:42 PM |
The "you never really saw me die" comment is being interpreted it as a direct reference to the show, but it could also convey that his silence in the wake of the allegations was not an admission of guilt and that he is ready to fight.
by Anonymous | reply 429 | December 25, 2018 5:46 PM |
R378 as we are discussing a sad,old predator the old bit is relevant and does add to the yucky aspect as ( despite the wishes of the unloved elderly here ) young people don't generally want the sexual attention of people three times their age.
- what “big guns” would this be? [R308] - If the criminal complaint is indication of the prosecution’s case, this is not a slam dunk. In fact, the details of the case generate more questions than answers.
Have you ever sat in a jury with a really good prosecutor? The government has access to the CC tapes, they can subpoena witnesses, they can get their own psychologists and draw up diagrams up the wazoo on their Power Point. They're up against an ex-big star who will also higher his own expensive lawyer and team so the government is going to hire their best prosecutor. And with Spacey's reputation as a perv and the fact that this may get major publicity, you bet the higher ups in law enforcement want to look good.
No matter how you try to defend him and rationalize his pervy behavior, he touched a man without his consent and violated his person and has a history of doing this. I don't know if the government can bring up his sordid history but they may find a way around it. I think Spacey just needs to plead guilty.

Rete said: "Some people like the art of seduction. Others play hard to get in order to amp up their desirability. However, if everything was as antiseptic and depersonalized as you suggest, then yes, you may as well turn to an escort or even porn if you don't want to deal with any human emotions at all.
you might have a few drinks with someone you want to seduce. But we're talking about 5 to 10 drinks here. That's enough to impair judgement, slow down reaction time , induce nausea, etc. If you need to get someone wasted before they will consider having sex, then we're not talking about the art of seduction. In that situation, you're just a predator who forgot to bring your roofies.
I don't take a position on the legality of Spacey's behavior in this incident. But we're in a new age with regard to consent and I think overall it's a good thing. Sex should be desired by and rewarding to both people involved. The fact that this is a controversial opinion on this site tells me how sad and desperate some of you are.

Government is presumably hoping that the threat of being shamed on social media will take over as an alternative deterrent to costly and overburdened police casework, courts, trials and prison sentences. That's what is happening - a shift from the law being used to punish sexual offending, to social media being a sort of theatre of shame where enough Goody SJW accusations can cost you your reputation, your job, your income. I was giving one of the urinals a refill in the bathroom of my local Club Chlamydia when to my surprise none other than Mr. KEVIN SPACEY walked in. He sauntered past all the available urinals (including the piss trough in the middle of the room!!) so that he could occupy the one right next to mine. Well, naturally, I felt honored. I had just turned 18 a few minutes beforehand, and this was the most love I'd seen in an older man's eyes since my ASL teacher taught me how to sign the letters H-I-V within the depths of my pleasure chest. I got a bit nervous and paused the stream while I stammered out that I loved his work in "High Fidelity" and "Serendipity." He looked vaguely hurt, so my nurturing instincts kicked in (I am a Cancer after all! LOL!!) and I asked if he was feeling alright. His face lit up again and he edged closer to me, whispering seductively, "I'm okay, I just haven't had a drink all night."
Well, what happened next left me swooning more than I was after my Bible School teacher taught me for the first time why they called it Palm Sunday! He shoved me aside, got on his hands and knees, and scarfed about five bladders worth of fresh mineral water out of the tinkle trench like an Ethiopian at the Golden Corral chocolate fountain! When he was finished, he stood back up, turned to me, and serenaded me with, "All that piss from all those men, and I bet none of it would be as sweet as a few drops of yours."
Well, I won't lie, I did shed a tear at such a passionate profession... My ears had been deprived of such sweet nothings ever since I lost my uncle in a freak auto accident (autoerotic asphyxiation). Sometimes I still had dreams about that sweet man waking up me and my brown grotto for an early morning stir, and this was a chance to make that dream a reality again, if only for one night. I spotted poppers and hypodermic needles scattered across the bathroom floor like rose petals, I smelled the urine on an older man's breath, and I heard the nostalgic sounds of leather queens whipping each other to the beat of It's Raining Men, so I could easily pretend I was back home. Besides, after his lovely words, how could I say no to the sweet gentlemen?
As soon as I plopped my plumbing into his mouth, I would have sworn his esophagus was a catheter, because I instantly began to release. Then, once he started to realize the well was running dry, he slid his middle finger into my compost compartment and started making prostate pudding. ECSTASY!!! After that, I obviously had to thank him, so I splashed some water-based lube from the golden gully onto my pecker and told the old slut to bend over.
As if I couldn't BE any more turned on, the seasoned actor stripped naked, and his colon hit the floor before he did. The second I lifted it up off the floor, the inner beast awakened, gurgled in excitement, and swallowed my length down like a giant suction hose discovering downtown Detroit! By the time he showed me the trick where he extended his worn-out sphincter out of the bathroom and let me fuck him from the corner of the hall, I was ready to explode again. I let him find his way back to me like a 90's corded home phone, and before you knew it, our kids were taking tours of each other's chocolate factories.
By the time the two of us stumbled out of the bathroom, we both smelled like sweat, jizz, and the final days of Jean Harlow. In spite of his slapping me when I told him I wasn't underage, I still consider it one of the finest nights of my life... so far! ;) LOL!!

I think this whole thing is overblown. Nonetheless ...
Many of you are incorrectly conflating these charges with statutory rape, which it is not. The victim's age has nothing to do with these charges, even if mom brought up his age in a sort of naivete defense. Believe it or not, Datalounge whores, it is illegal in many places to grab somebody's - anybody's, of any age's - pussy without prior consent. It is called a variety of things such as "(sexual) battery," "(sexual) assault," etc.
Others' genitals are not fair game just because they're within easy reach.
And we've gone over this again and again. Spacey obviously has some sort of fetish for the surprise attack. He gets off on being aggressive. I bet Spacey wouldn't even be interested in somebody who actually came on to him.
And Spacey's groping hands have nothing to do with the sexuality of his victims. I can't believe how many of you are taking the "he was asking for it" line. I doubt this 18 year old guy had been reading Datalounge and blind items, in order to learn that Spacey was a predator.
Sick bunch of whores you are, assuming that everybody is as used up as you are. Nobody's asking for it unless they, you know, ask for it. Or, when asked, consent to it.

R434, I'm not the person you addressed but I do agree with him. The case is still 50/50 and I think saying that doesn't mean that I or the other person supports Spacey.
I actually have a Spacey story of my own but he didn't touch me, luckily, but instead was hitting on me at my place of work a little over a decade ago. I also wouldn't have been down with that.
Nobody knows what kind of defense his people will mount or how good the prosecutors will be but it is pretty easy to come up with the kind of questions the victim will be asked and they will tear apart his own statements.
Did he consent and was he in a state of mind where he could consent?
He starts out by saying that he didn't say anything when he started touching him but instead he snapchatted and texted. He also says he didn't want to get in trouble so he didn't want to say anything. However, he then says he tried to move his hands away and Spacey kept trying to touch him. [bold]That would normally be the signal that would tell anyone that he didn't consent even if he didn't say it verbally.[/bold]
However, unless there is a credible witness that saw what was going on they're totally going to try and paint that boy as a liar who admitted to lying about several things that night and that's going to hurt him. Kevin could say that never happened or that he didn't know the boy was heavily intoxicated. So the kid needs someone else who saw everything that night.
You're right. It does come down to the fact that Kevin shouldn't have had his hands on someone without their permission but they've got to prove that's exactly what has happened.

R471, He said in the police report to the officer that he'd been drunk a lot before. That doesn't mean much of anything. Drunk or not, the question is still how drunk was he and if he consented.
The other interesting thing is that there are tons of interviews in that police report after Will's initial interview with witnesses. Some of them didn't see Spacey, some of them saw him but didn't see anything going on. No one spotted the mystery woman but according several people that worked there everyone knew what Will said had happened and most of them heard it from some guy named Dave who, when asked by police, said he saw nothing. Furthermore their statements that Will was joking about it with the staff doesn't look good.
If there is a mystery woman, hopefully she'll come forward and say something but again she would have had to of seen what was taking place.

R436 Your assumptions are faulty, I have no issue with inter-generational sex, or any kind of sex, so long as it's consensual and this is the sticking point with Spacey, consent is not his thing, and it seems his dislike for consent chimes with many DLers of the older variety who sadly had to experiment sexually in a furtive and secretive way that has warped their outlook. I know they feel they had the best time, for them it was edgy, underground, rebellious etc and involved grabbing sexual experience where/when you could, consent was a non-issue for a furtive restroom encounter. Unfortunately the context for this was iron hard prejudice from society and crippling self loathing for the gays whatever the rose colored specs say. This seems to have led gays of a certain age and experience to see the modern world as a feeble joke, with its touchy-feely ways drowning in PC, they don't seem to trust a world where being gay doesn't mean living in the shadows, purses falling from mouths are not revolting and subjects such as consent are not sissy. Old gay life was as good as it could be at that time but there have been many changes in the decades since and any pearl clutching is now done by the bitter oldsters horrified by those changes. Spacey is one of these types, not worth defending, he's a fucked up, self loather who is entirely the architect of his own downfall.

Spacey looks awful in that video - bloated and covered in make-up - he's aged 15 years.
by Anonymous | reply 481 | December 26, 2018 12:46 AM |
REGARDLESS of whether you feel what Spacey did to that 18-year-old in that bar was outright criminal or just sleazy or whatever, I don't understand how anyone can disagree that it's a HORRIFIC mistake for the mother (presumably with the kid's permission) to make this incident public. I would think the public charge alone would be traumatically embarrassing for the young man -- far more traumatic than the groping itself -- and a trial will be even more so, to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if he does something drastic like tries to kill himself.

Why would he kill himself - dataloungers aside, I bet most people admire him for having the guts to speak out against a powerful man. Why are people too dense to understand that it's possible for Kevin Spacey to be a disgusting, violent, criminal predator and ALSO for it to be a big mistake for the mother of that 18-year-old to press charges? Those two things are NOT mutually exclusive. And the reason it's a big mistake for the mother to press charges IN THIS PARTICULAR CASE is because of some of the details, including the kid being in a bar and drinking while underage for legal alcohol consumption, plus the incredible embarrassment to her son because of some of those details.
by Anonymous | reply 498 | December 26, 2018 3:33 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 503 | December 26, 2018 3:44 AM |
The persistence exhibited by Spacey has been noted over and over, even from adult co-workers. He is not a guy who takes no for an answer and stops. I can imagine a kid, who does not have a lot of experience, and who does not want to create a scene in a place where he works, having a difficult time getting him to stop - he would not be the first.
He groped the teen son of Richard Dreyfuss WITH HIS FATHER IN THE ROOM. That kid also froze and did not make a scene, Spacey was the director, of a play his father was in the boss.
Freezing is a very common response, one predators count on.

by Anonymous | reply 505 | December 26, 2018 3:48 AM |
People need to stop blaming the mother and victim about pressing charges against their friend, Kevin.
As R499 said, it's up to the state. If the victim decides to not be involved the prosecutor may still go ahead with the charges if they have enough evidence to convict. One of the trials I attended as a juror was where the victim did not pursue charges but the State did because it had enough evidence to prove guilt.
I think the State has the witnesses and other evidence so that's why the trial is happening. Of course, they're not saying what they have.

The kid was staying with his grandmother and was not even in college yet. For Spacey to assault him in a public place and just not care fits with the stories told on DL for many years. The kid had just gone to work at a restaurant. Yeah, he seems a bit naive, but so were most people just out of HS. Spacey was not backing off despite kid talking about his girlfriend, not being interested, etc.
Spacey being persistent - think adult colleagues have said the same? Even other actors, not the little people he thinks he can really bully. And this kid was 18 - Spacey groped the 18 year old son of Richard Dreyfus with his father in the same room! Many people should have (and did!) punch(ed) this guy in the face and him going down has been a long time coming. Let him grope Bubba and see how that goes.
It reminds me a bit of the story Terry Crews tells, of an exec just grabbing his junk in the middle of a party. Spacey is the same. Guess they think they are, and heretofore, have been, untouchable.

I'm not so sure, but even if what you say is true, their point is still a solid foundation for concern if presumption of innocence is being circumvented by reactionary types who feel accusations are enough to crucify someone.
by Anonymous | reply 559 | December 26, 2018 8:55 AM |
It being the internet I have to allow for you being one of the faux concerned R559 However, I am un bothered about 'crucifying' someone like Spacey, he's not someone I'm interested in protecting, but for some reason many here are and from the discussion above will reach in any direction to do so, from gay rights, it's homophobia behind the 'attack' on his character, to 'so what, who doesn't want to fuck young? The love of 'innocence before guilt' is very low on the list, if at all and seems a convenience to their agenda rather than genuine. I'm loathe to even mention it , as it has unleashed the wrath of the right-wing nutters here ( or whatever they are as they are certainly not left ) when I've discussed it before, but I have been in Spacey's company and the way he behaved in a public setting, his very heavy handed, sexually loaded and entitled attitude to the ( young, male ) staff left me in absolutely no doubt as to who he is, I asked a colleague if this was the norm and it was, very much so, hence the 'Spacey-proofing' I mentioned earlier, young guys who would have been the Spacey type were engineered to be out of his orbit to save everybody hassle, add to that many years of stories with similar and worse tone, then add to that the 30 men who claim unwanted advances from him and I am quite comfortable in thinking him a sexual predator whose pestering time is up, crucifixion it ain't.
by Anonymous | reply 560 | December 26, 2018 9:27 AM |
It being the internet I have to allow for you being one of the faux concerned [R559]
Fair enough, but the basis for concern is a solid enough position to stand on its own, regardless of the motivation behind it. Otherwise you end up going down odd avenues. If the anti-reactionary argument is assumed to be secretly made by a closet reactionary and your position is to then oppose it, you're adopting the position of a reactionary by default. In truth, right-wingers are relishing the chance to attack a famous gay Democrat. We've already had pictures of Spacey and Clinton posted in this thread with the clear inference that they're both cut from the same cloth (neither has been found guilty of anything).
However, I am un bothered about 'crucifying' someone like Spacey, he's not someone I'm interested in protecting
But that's precisely the point. The presumption of innocence applies to everyone, not just those we like or have sympathy for. Again, that's a reactionary view.

Spacey deserves his ruin , however in the court he will be presumed innocent, will have expensive unpleasant lawyers to take apart the mother/son duo so hated by the whatevers here ( the ones calling the mother a bitch/frau etc etc ) and will very likely go free and not face any further trouble depending on how crushed he leaves his accusers. Spacey is not a hero to democrats either so I'm totally unconcerned about that being ruined, and even if he was my ethics are strong enough to not let him off the hook simple because he was on my 'team'.

Spacey may have been tolerated when he was younger but now he is a creepy old man who messed with the wrong Mama. Can you imagine if they actually had sex ? The poor woman would probably be in a catatonic coma or getting a gun .
At my job we had a new upper management boss fired for unwanted advances towards several women. I thought has this guy lived in a cave? Has he not heard the words 'me too' ?
Gotta love the dataloungers for attacking the victim and his mom, instead of giving the hate to the guy who really deserves it - Spacey
Bitch, we have had threads on Spacey for several years and he has always been reviled her at DL. No one wants to fuck him, he was mocked for being closeted, Diane has been one of our memes for years. This is a GAY SITE. There is going to be discussion by gay men here around the treatment in the media of a GAY MAN and his sexual behaviour. He's not been convicted. We are free to parse and debate the known details as we fucking see fit.
by Anonymous | reply 568 | December 26, 2018 11:40 AM |
Are half the posters at the DL now wimmin? Two-thirds? Man-bashing bullshit all over this board these days, and no one gets called on t like they should. FUCK YOU women who slither in here to work out your man hate. Fuck you.
He's a sick man
You know what, R489? Yeah, he may well be. But if his life can be taken from him without any conviction in a court of law for anything he's being accused of, then what we have here is people acting like judge and jury in show trials on Twitter. And you might think that's the cool new way of 'doing' justice, but it could happen to you, or anyone who has an enemy, or a disgruntled colleague or ex who wants to assassinate their character for kicks, and most of us don't have, I'm sure, Spacey's deep pockets for expensive lawyers to fight that kind of thing. So think about it. If a crime has been committed against you, go to the authorities, get a lawyer, take it to court, get it heard, get a conviction. And if you have criticisms of the system, fight that in a reasoned and organised and logical way. Twitter is mob rule by untested gossip and unchecked 'facts'.
by Anonymous | reply 570 | December 26, 2018 11:50 AM |
Just because someone has an opposing opinion doesn't mean it comes from a woman. Gay men do not think alike...
by Anonymous | reply 571 | December 26, 2018 11:53 AM |
And those shouting about the industry 'enabling him' - he's not a convicted criminal. He's free to work. Do you people have no understanding of the law, of basic rights? Do you imagine producers could say to him, 'sorry Kev, there's been a few blind items which we suspect are about you. We're gonna have to let you go. '? He then gets to sue the ass off them. All these claims that 'it was well known' - well then, hundreds if not thousands of people, including those who say they are his victims, are culpable, because they did not go to the police.

R535 Trump was accused of raping a 13 year old girl procured for him by Epstein. The complaintant backed off right before the election.
Beckham should look at who does get knighthoods, perhaps. Saville, Spacey, Beckham - which of these is not like the others?
Beckham sunk millions into a tax avoidance scheme and as a result HMRC which is clamping down on such schemes 'flagged' him on the list of those who were being considered for knighthoods by the Honours Committee. He hasn't been knighted because he dodges taxes. He knows this, as his recently hacked emails to his publicist Simon Oliveira showed: he called the Committee and HMRC 'ungrateful old cunts'.
Fucking conspiracy theorists, talking through their arses all over the internet.

R570 said: If a crime has been committed against you, go to the authorities, get a lawyer, take it to court, get it heard, get a conviction.
Because law enforcement and courts TOTALLY support women and gay men who are victims of violence? You're adorable. Ever heard of Brock Turner? White boy rapes an unconscious woman at frat party and judge gives him 6 months because he doesn't want HIS life to be ruined. Fuck the victim, because she MUST have been asking for it being drunk at a frat party.
What about the women who accused Weinstein? Do you have any idea how difficult it is for someone to not just come forward with their story of assault or abuse, but to actually be taken seriously??? How many women report abuse by their husbands and are denied restraining orders?
Get the fuck out of here. Anybody who blythly says, "Just go to the police" hasn't been paying attention.

R575 is one of the new breed of 'radical feminist' dataloungers who enjoy coming here to work out their hatred of men and to scream with the angry power of whichever goddess they take inspiration from to help heal their fibro.
You're feeble-minded, Goody Bitch-Face. Vigilante justice is not justice.

Which he does, and despite his arrogance he has to know that the above would be a strong reaction.
Nonetheless it's his edgy way of coming out fighting, and yes Sending A Message to TPTB in Hollywood. In his mind it's a gambit so much better than skulking in 'dignified silence.'
I can see more such cryptic videos being released, as he seeks to remind us among other things of the great talent he believes us to be missing. In their way they'll be his version of Trump's tweets, and about as convincing.

R577 you don't have to be a radical feminist (or a woman) to read and understand statistics. For this to have been going on for two decades means people either didn't believe Spacey's victims or didn't care because they were gay. I'm affiliated with one of those pricey "luxury" gyms in Manhattan and can tell you that gay employees are fired with regulatory, usually because a "straight" white male member has lodged complaints of inappropriate behavior. Yet white male employees who slobber all over female members, crack inappropriate jokes, and otherwise suck at their jobs are kept on staff despite having multiple women complain about them. That prejudice us real and still very prevalent, regardless of the bullshit #metoo movement.

Nevermind I found the video. He's almost begging for his job back. HOC really hasn't been a popular show since the first season...

I mean, even a goddamn member of the Norwegian royal family's come out to say Spacey grabbed his cock under the table! At the Nobel Peace Prize dinner in Oslo 15 years ago, no less. Spacey's definitely gotten himself more than a handful in his day.
Under 30 is definitely his thing, with teens being a special treat.
by Anonymous | reply 589 | December 26, 2018 2:19 PM |
It's obvious from the posts here that a few gays of a certain age identify with Spacey ,sad as that is, hate 'fish' and support sexual harassment. ..they are erna.
by Anonymous | reply 590 | December 26, 2018 2:31 PM |
So are we really supposed to believe that after decades of helping himself to whatever young boy ass he could find, he has taken this year off? Somehow, I highly doubt it. He must have gotten some young boy pussy somewhere during these months when he was totally off-the -radar. If I were a reporter on this story, I would go through lists of all the foreign countries Spacey has visited throughout the years and cross-reference that with missing local teenage boys in the area. It’s a stretch but these kind of rich and powerful hebophiles have the means to make inconvenient witnesses and victims disappear. I’m not even kidding here or being hyperbolic.
Remember that series of photos of Spacey with a boy literally straddled over his knee? It looked like Spacey was trying to stick his fingers up the boy’s asshole. They were taken in some Eastern European country.

Some good points, R465, but you also seem to have no idea how people act around celebrities like this -- especially if they want their help. Getting attention from a big Oscar winner can be heady and then the signals can be mixed if they are enjoying it. I seriously doubt Spacey would grab anyone with whom he wasn't even getting along (if he randomly grabs at all, which I still doubt).
